The Sahriyo Hiring Thread

Runs: January 31-March 1

I've got just one thing to say...HEEELLLLLPPPP MEEEE!!! Okay, now that I've expressed my feelings of desperation, let me get on to what this thread is all about. With everything that's going on IRL, I'm getting a little overwhelmed with my shop, the Sahriyo Aviary. I just want to parcel out my duties to other people so that I don't have to do them myself O_o. Yes, I'm lazy...get over it. My ultimate goal is to make it so all I have to do is manage and color.

This is going to be a three-in-one contest with lots of prizes, with everything from straight gold to custom Sahriyo. Each contest will have its own post, and prizes will be listed in the last post. Enjoy, and please enter!!! I just want some quality help crying .

Yes, I'm looking for colorists. Two of them, actually. I'm looking for two good-quality colorists. Rules and requirements are listed below:</center>

Requirements for Colorists:

Must be willing to split the earnings 75/25, where you receive 75% (3k per egg) of the sales, and I receive 25% (1k per egg). Yes, I'm a greedy gold horder. If I absolutely love your work, then I may give you a higher percentage ninja

Must have a decent program that supports .psd files, just in case I need to work with them. No Microsoft Paint allowed! Period!

Must produce at least 2 eggs a month. Believe me, that's not a lot...

Must be nice, cheerful, and overall accepting of my procrastination and laziness...

Rules:

You must color at least one full set of either the male or female lineart. Hopefully the contest is long enough for most to meet that requirement. If not, I will extend the contest date.

Obviously...DON'T STEAL THE LINEART!!!! scream

Do you have to color without lines like I do? No. Do you need to have creativity when it comes to design? Yes.

Feel free to make any lineart edits on the EGGS only. If you want to add something cool to the Sahriyo itself (i.e. a little ball of fire, ice formation, etc...), that's fine, just don't mess with the actual outline of the Sahriyo.

Don't strut around the thread. Being proud of your work is fine, but running around like you've won already will only result in me chasing you out of the thread.

Just a note: coloring with a pattern or a variation rather than simple plain colors will get you a better chance of being chosen ninja

Yes, I know...my laziness is absolutely pathetic. I just need someone who can tag the Sahriyo. I already have a set of tags, but just because I want to make this a little more interesting, I'll set up a contest for new tags as well 3nodding . It is not guaranteed that I will actually pick new tags, as it also depends on my funds sweatdrop . Feel free to enter though heart , I'll have something to give you if I chose your tags.</center>

What is needed in the tags:

"Sahriyo" must be placed somewhere on the tag

Name

Owner

Date of Birth

Mate

Subspecies (optional, if space provides)

Gender

Credits to me for the lineart and to you for the tag

What is needed for the design of the tags:

There are six elemental subspecies for the Sahriyo, therefore I would like color schemes to fit those subspecies (with color overlays on Photoshop, this shouldn't be too difficult...at least I don't think O_o).

If you want, you may make a little symbol for each subspecies, but it is not required.

It must fit under the maximum size restriction of 500x500, though I would prefer a slightly smaller size due to the fact that many current owners have other things in their sigs.

I'm leaving the rest up to your creativity. The cooler it looks, the better I'll like it, and the better chance you'll receive something for it 3nodding .

Sooo...what are you tagging?

<center>Roleplay Manager Contest

Yes!! Finally! Nephy's starting to get some major roleplaying done in the Sahriyo Aviary. The only problem: Nephy doesn't have the time, or the brain power, to come up with creative/fun/exciting roleplay opportunities for the owners. I feel that if the level of roleplay for the Sahriyo was raised, then it would make the overall experience much more enjoyable for the owners. So, I'm looking for two, that's right...TWO roleplay managers who will come up with quests/events/opportunities to roleplay, as well as create and manage an RP Thread for the shop. </center>

How To Enter:

Come up with at least THREE small prompts, small meaning 2-3 sentences, for everyday roleplay.

Come up with a large prompt, large meaning at least a paragraph, that could be used as a quest or major event.

Write an entry to your large prompt (at least 500 words).

Optional: Post links to diaries/journals/rp threads that you have participated in to give me an idea of your writing style.

Rules:

No plagarism! To me, this is just as bad as art theft scream

Use the story and roleplay info posted on the front page of the Sahriyo Aviary, link here, to come up with your prompts.

Use correct grammar and spelling.

Absolutely no chatspeak or l33tspeak.

Be creative!! The story on the front page was written to have a very loose plotline, so you could come up with basically anything for a prompt. The more bizarre and entertaining the better xd .

1st Place: 10k + keep the Sahriyo you colored + full-time job

2nd Place: 5k + keep the Sahriyo you colored + full-time job

Everyone else: 100g per -decent- entry

Prizes for Tagger:

1st Place (if a whole new set of tags are created): 15k + custom colored Sahriyo + job as tagger

If no new tags are created, but qualified for job as tagger: 2k + custom colored Sahriyo + job as tagger

Prizes for Roleplay Managers:
