Gaining gold from posting new links in the Link List has been temporarily disabled due to an abuse by certain users through either spam or through botting.

With the abuse of the Link List comes the possible effect of damaging the Gaian economy.

Until it is fixed this will be in effect til further notice.

thank you. it's unfortunate when something has to be disabled because of a few bad apples, but i'm glad it's been noticed.

here is another thing: i remember going through the work of checking out a site and entering my opinion about it, only to find someone else copy/paste my comment as theirs to collect gold. i don't know if that can be looked into as well, but i thought i'd mention it.

I am glad.. it was getting to be a bit of a madhouse.. it's kind of a shame for all those people who followed the rules, but I guess that can't be helped...

i agree, shouldnt the bank be one of the top things? I know some people who lost a lot of gold because of it and they didnt know about the bank glitch being so bad that it could more or less steal their money O.o;

Courier, we incorporated this into the 'problems' sticky and unstickied this after asking Hinata about it. I begin to wonder if unlocking it was a good idea though.

To Alestal and Laips.... they disabled the gold gain from the linklist so that people couldn't 'cheat'. I'm not sure what is up with the bank, they may still be looking for the cause of the problem.

Let's leave it at: If it's still up, despite the glitchiness, there's a reason for it, and I'm sure they're working at trying to fix the errors going on. ^^

I used to make some good money LEGALLY with all the sites I knew.

But you're right... I didn't use it to go somewhere else. *shrugs* It was still nice to know I could make an instant 50g if I absolutely needed it.
