Fromage and Jani sat across from each, both girls in an awkward position. Jani had just emerged and was now in a totally new place, while Fromage realized there was some hobo chick on the couch (it took her an embaressingly long time to find out that the 'hobo' was actually her Sepia).
And so, they sat. And stared. Jani regarded Fromage with calculating eyes while Fromage diplomatically drank a cup of tea, offering to pour one for the redhaired girl across from her. Jani shook her head in refusal, deciding to be the first one to break the ice.
"Where am I?"
"This is Gaia." Fromage patiently explained, smiling as she spoke about it. She told Jani about how she had found a picture of her (it seemed to be missing now) and how she took care of it under the instructions of a girl named Kanjii. Jani nodded a bit, but her face looked like she was in deep thought.
"... Oh, so this isn't Sepia then?" Jani finally spoke, catching the other girl completely surprise.
"Er... no." Fromage had a blunt look of confusion on her face. "This is Gaia. What's... Sepia?"
"That's where I come from! Well, that's the name of the planet, anyway. I could never pronounce the name of the place IN Sepia where I came from, but it was a city. It used to be nice and all, I mean, the air was still clean, the water was pretty drinkable, and there was a lot of plants and stuff for it being a city... and then the rains came." Jani retold her story, her eyes twinkling as she recounted every detail.
"The rains seemed to make everything just die. The buildings were crumbling because the rains melted the bricks and stuff, and the plants started to die. People got sick because the water was all icky and brown. And the air was so murky, you could barely breathe it. Me and my friends were in the alleys when it came, we couldn't seem to hide from it because everything would just melt!"
At the mention of her friends, the redhead's eyes widened as she jumped up in surprise, looking around the small room.
"My friends! Are they here too?"
Fromage shook her head at Jani's question. "No... you were the only one."
"... Oh." Jani's face falling, she plopped down on the couch. She seemed depressed at this mere fact, not saying anything as she sulked on the couch. Fromage only continued drinking, allowing Jani to mull over her thoughts. Fromage knew how bad culture shock could be.
"... Didn't you say there were others like me?"
"Yes. There's a place where we all gather to speak and such. I'm not sure if there's anyone there now, but would you like to go?"
"Yeah!!" Jani seemed excited again as she immediately hopped up and over, literally leaping from the couch to the door of Fromage's humble abode, bouncing on the balls of her feet as she waited for the older girl to get off her butt and take her to that 'place' already.
"C'mon!! Hurry up!"

Fromage - Odd, somewhat spazzy herself. She decided to take in one of the Sepia after being shown the shop by a friend. Hopes that Janika will grow up to be one of the children who actually like her xD
Janika: Meh... she's OK. Extremely easy to trick though. How can someone be that dense? O_o
Kanjii - The owner of the Sepia shop. Janika likes Kanjii, but knows not to be around her when she's in trouble.

Zefster - Hui's guardian, but Jani doesn't know anything else aside from that.
Janika: I think I heard her voice in the hole with the green haired thing >>
Xela - Bane's guardian. She's a very nice person, but Jani doesn't speak with the guardians much to begin with.
Janika: Bane likes her a lot, so she must be really nice!
Brenda - Fromage's wife, Jani knows that she acts just as crazy as her guardian, if not crazier.
Janika: I just wish she was as easy to trick as Fromage is >>
Sabith - A young man who is also a guardian, of a Sepia named... Sabith!

Shouko - Yet another guardian, she is Fromage's best friend. Even so, Jani hasn't met her and doesn't know too much about her.
Janika: I heard she draws really nice :3 and she's leading some sort of rev-o-lu-tion... whatever that is.
Tsuki Sohma - The guardian of the Princess, Meryl. Fromage seems to know her very well, so Jani decided that Tsuki wasn't too bad of a person.
Janika: But she used to wave Meryl around on a flag -_o I think she will be mad at Tsuki for that...

Knife - First Sepia Jani met. They used to be good friends, but Jani lost her temper and yelled at her during a huge fight. They don't speak now, but Jani is OK with it.
Janika: She doesn't have to waste her time on me...
Bane - Jani would like to be friends with him again, but because he never gets along with Dahring, she isn't sure if it's even safe. She wishes to avoid conflict at all costs.
Janika: I'm sorry, Bane...
Hui - Since his mom has been on vacation, Jani hasn't seen him much. She probably would like to speak with him sometime since he doesn't hate her ( at least, she hopes so ).
Janika: But I guess he wouldn't want to waste time on me either.
Raith - Jani's stepbrother. They don't speak much now, as she yelled at him before. Although she still cares for him, she doesn't feel the need to show it.
Janika: Raith can take care of himself anyway.
Aleah - Jani considers him her only friend, because he's the only one who actually still likes her after she yelled at him. She wishes he would stop arguing with Bane, but she knows it's not exactly his fault he does anyway.
Janika: My only friend now...
Sabith - Sabith doesn't seem to like anyone, and Jani is sure that Sabith doesn't like her either. But she knows she can't win them all.
Janika: At least his feelings didn't change.
Meryl - Never met her.
Janika: She sounds snooty anyway.
Dawn - The Goddess Dawn, she was adopted by Brenda. Cute and cheerful, she is pleased to know that Jani is her stepsister and shows great concern for her.
Janika: <3 so adorable. I wish Hammer didn't hog her all to herself!

Whew! Finally done with the chronicle xD I'm such a procastinater. Anyway, I'm glad I was able to care for one of these Sepia ^^ It was a spur of the moment thing, but I'm in good company.
I've just been hanging out at the shop lately, not much else to do on Gaia. Well, I do have to dig >> Actually, I'm doing that right now. The light in this part of the mines is way too bright >_< I'd bring sunglasses, but then it'd be too dark.
I wonder what Spaz will be like when she comes out... well, I'll just have to wait and see biggrin

Bane came out of hiding, I hope he and Xela (hey! I remembered her name! xD) come in soon, I wanna meet them.
And I hope Spaz warms up to me soon XD I've been carrying her around, but I'm not so good at talking to inanimate objects O_o;; I don't know if she'll like me or not... pretty much none of my kids do >>;;

I came out of... uh, what does she call it... "hiding" today. This place... what does she call it... Gaia... it kinda looks like my old home, except this is out in the country >_O The nearest city is a placed called "Durem", but we live in some backwater island called "Gambino". Well, I guess maybe one day she can take me there...
I asked her to take me to that place... what does she call it... The Sepia shop or something? Doesn't look like there's anyone there right now, so she's taking me to this place called the mines instead. Actually, I'm here right now.
I heard people can dig up treasures here! Maybe I can dig here sometime with Fromage's plank or something! I want shiny things! >3 And I saw Fromage's staff thing, that was shiny, so I took it. She doesn't suspect a thing XD It's hard to hide stuff in her house though, but I think I can stash my stuff in the mines... I'll have to investigate.

WOW! So much stuff happened it's not even funny! I can't even begin to start on all the stuff that happened! I guess I should just go in order then...
Well, Fromage took me to the Sepia shop, and I met two other Sepia: Knife (she's a redhead like me!) and Bane (He's cute :3), and Knife asked me to steal Fromage's Angelic Headband, so I did, but because Kanjii showed up at the wrong place at the wrong time, she found out >_< I still didn't give her back her staff, she's borrowing one from her friend :3 It's not as good as hers though.
And Knife was in trouble, so we ran and hid in the closet (that's where we found Bane :3) and then we found a secret passageway in there! We all god lost @@ It took us forever to get out! But I found some shinies :3 They're all pretty and pink, so it was a great trip.
And then, when we got out, and I came back the next day, Fromage told me that I had a step-brother o_o His name is Raith and he's Brenda's son, who is Fromage's wife, and that's why he's my step-brother, but he's so mean! he and Knife got in a fight and they were killing each other D: I really hope I don't have to meet Raith in any family reunion meetings.
And then Fromage said something weird. She said that even though me an' Raith are step-siblings, it's not by blood so we can mate and stuff, but I don't know what mating is... No one will tell me, it's like everyone knows except me! Whatever it is, I'd rather do it with Bane than Raith. Bane said he wants to know too so we can do it :3 But Xela didn't seem to happy about that...
I hope I see Bane soon. I wonder if Xela told him what mating meant yet.

Fromage told me to write a quick entry or she'll be late for something called school. Anyway, lots of stuff happened this week:
I got a Valentine's gift from Bane! <3 It's a bunch of pretty seashells! They're all around my room now, I think they make a nice touch.
I found a new secret passageway, and a passageway in that! -_o I went in there with my friend Dahring (where has he been lately?) and he found a pretty necklace in there :3 He also gave me flowers... I wonder if Dahring celebrates Valentine's Day too. I need to get him something.
Uh... Raith was acting weird in there too. I think his sanity is linked to that stupid magic box he keeps bringing around with him, the one with the big screen.
And, finally, Sabith came out of hiding O_O he's really weird though, he's all blue and stuff, and he didn't seem to like us... well, I guess he's just kinda... eeh like Raith. But he's not as mean, so that's a good thing.
I gotta check on Raith, I think he got attacked by Knife o_o but I already left by then... not that I really care, but Raith is family, ya know.
And finally, I need to get everyone a Valentine's Gift << >> time to look for more treasure!

I caught a cold! I think I got it from Fromage >_< she always has random colds, and she still does stuff while she has those colds and just spreads it everywhere! I told her not to, but she keeps saying she has to do the will of Sadako or something O_o I wonder who Sadako is...
But yeah, I feel sick x_x Fromage said I had some stuff to pick up back in the Shop, so I did go there... Bane left his present from me there, I think he broke by accident, so I'll fix it for him :3 And Dahring didn't look well either... he looked like he was in a fight O_o;;
And another Sepia who isn't feeling well is Raith. Poor Raith, he got a stomach virus. I dunno who he got that from, but I still feel sorry for him anyway. Raith actually is a nice person when he's not all mean and stuff, and he was actually nice to me a few days earlier o_o;; so I guess he must really be sick!

Fromage got me a new sister... her name is Hammer. She's supposed to know a lot about technology and the different boxes they use here on gaia, so I can't wait until she comes out of hiding! Then she can tell me how to use all of this stuff!
But I have to keep her away from Fromage if Hammer is even gonna live that long -_o Stupid Fromage doesn't know how to take care of anything, I'm wondering how /I/ made it past hiding stage!

I'm bigger O_o;;
I don't know how it happened. I just woke up, and I was ... bigger. Fromage said that I am a teenager now, and something to the effect of that I can mate now >_O Stupid girl!
Well, she went to see some distant friend of hers, so I was left alone all weekend with Hammer. We had tons of fun :3 wrecked the house, all sorts of crazy s**t. And then she taught me how to play video games with the help of Fromage (when she actually had the time to run back to the house, that was.)
I'm playing a game on Fromage's Nintendo DS called Super Mario 64 DS. It's redundant AND fun! Now I know why Raith plays these games so often :3 And I learned how to work a bunch of other machina with Hammer. But she actually knows HOW they work, I just... use them.
We had some fun with the microwave biggrin ;; But here's something I learned the hard way: ABSOLUTELY NO METAL!
... And don't put a egg in the microwave either sweatdrop
Oh, I wasn't the only one who got better. Bane and Dahring grew up too :3 They both look really handsome. Fromage says I can mate with them whenever I want, but I don't see why she thinks I would wanna do that O_o;; I don't want kids.
So I stole a bunch of her stuff and made her bid on an auction :3 She's got some new kid to take care of now, and she's none too mpleased about it. Serves her right. Now, i'ma go steal me some more chocolates >_>

I don't know how it happened. I just woke up, and I was ... bigger. Fromage said that I am a teenager now, and something to the effect of that I can mate now >_O Stupid girl!
Well, she went to see some distant friend of hers, so I was left alone all weekend with Hammer. We had tons of fun :3 wrecked the house, all sorts of crazy s**t. And then she taught me how to play video games with the help of Fromage (when she actually had the time to run back to the house, that was.)
I'm playing a game on Fromage's Nintendo DS called Super Mario 64 DS. It's redundant AND fun! Now I know why Raith plays these games so often :3 And I learned how to work a bunch of other machina with Hammer. But she actually knows HOW they work, I just... use them.
We had some fun with the microwave biggrin ;; But here's something I learned the hard way: ABSOLUTELY NO METAL!
... And don't put a egg in the microwave either sweatdrop

I yelled at everyone yesterday... they were all arguing about me, and the it just turned to them venting their personal ills. I have caused much strife for my friends at the shop...
and then to make it worse, Raith got stabbed, so now he's in the hospital. I wanted to go visit him, but Bane is there, and he is not in the best of moods with me. I'm not going to make a scene at the hospital.
I even yelled at Dahring ._.;; I apologized for it and he seemed OK, but I still feel bad for it. Dahring is the only one who actually seems to like me... but apparently it's because of him that Bane hates me so much.
I'm sorry... you know, I can't divert my attention to everyone!
