Welcome to my quest for an evil twin. Now, you're probably wondering who exactly could be my evil twin and why on Gaia would I want to have one. So, let me explain.

You're probably aware of this very common cliche, often seen in sci-fi movies and cartoons. The main characters have evil twins, sometimes coming from parallel universes or from another dimensions. I couldn't help noticing the parallels of many Gaian donation items - angelic/demonic, light/dark, red/blue - and figured I need my own Gaian evil twin! domokun

Because I don't have access to a paraller Gaia, I can't have a real evil twin. However, I thought I'd start questing for an evil twin outfit instead. Normally, I tend to wear the red, black, and demonic items, so my evil Gaia twin will naturally wear the blue, white, and angelic counterparts of my favorite items. And a beard, of course. For some weird reason, the evil twins always seem to have a goatee or some other sort of an evil looking beard.

So, to put it in a nutshell, I'm questing for the evil counterparts of my favorite items and outfits. And the evil beard. whee

[Quest status]

Quest is on hold for a moment. Why? Mainly because I realized the "Evil Twin" items don't look good. I don't like them. The Staff of the Angels, Bani Clips... they just look cheesy. The Seal Slippers are incredibly cute but don't really match my outfits.

However, I have decided to get the commons I was originally questing for, and of course keep the Pendant, the single most expensive item of my quest. That is because I like the items, and because I've got donations and support for this quest, so I feel morally obligated to continue. I'm very grateful for the Gaians who have supported this quest by donating and bumping, so I can't just abandon the quest.

But, like I said, it's on hold at the moment.

Here are the three outfits I own and whose evil counterparts I would love to own someday. Next to the outfits, there are also the evil items I'm questing for.

I acknowledge these outfits aren't exactly original. Especially the 90s Pants + Slippers look is done a gazillion times before. But... so what? They look cute together! That's why a gazillion new-ish Gaians, who are slowly reaching the middle-class status, want to wear those items. whee

<center>How to help</center>
There are several ways you can do to help me in my quest. The easiest and most painless way is simply staying for a while, bumping and chatting. I appreciate my bumpers... and who knows, when this quest finally ends, I might give out some little prizes for my most active bumpers... whee

Another way to help me is, of course, to donate. I appreciate all donations... even the smallest donations make me feel warm and fuzzy inside. However, I know how much the Gaians love their gold and items, so I don't expect too many donations. But, you never know... my previous quest for the Demon Horns ended very quickly when a generous Gaian donated them to me. heart

You can also help by participating in my avatar contests. If you're interested, see the 7th post for more info.

Please, also keep an eye on my shop. Occasionally I sell some items for my quest, so naturally, I'm looking for buyers. My prices are fair, and usually my items are the cheapest ones at the Marketplace!

Random stuff about how this quest is doing... or, um, whatever.

03 Feb Put the quest on hold.
30 Jan Got the Blacklight Tube Top for pretty cheap.
30 Jan I realized something when I finally got my Banis and Seals: they look kind of tacky. xd Well, the Seals look really cute and fluffy, but they're exactly the wrong shade of white, so they don't match anything. I sold both and bought the Pendant. After all, it suits me much better. Feh.
30 Jan Done with the donation items (except for that pendant), so now I'll start my quest for the commons.
28 Jan I couldn't help it... I fell in love with Golden Laurels and kimonos, so I changed my quest a bit. I also decided to not quest for that Pendant. It's nice and pretty and glowing and all, but not worth 40k, I think.
27 Jan Bought an Aug 04 letter. Those seem to go up pretty fast. Too bad I like the Aug items myself, so I'm really tempted to open the letter! gonk
26 Jan Had my second Ordinary Avatar Contest and sold the Gotis.
26 Jan Bought an extra pair of Goti Clips. Because I'm questing for an item whose price constantly goes up, I'll better invest my gold in other donation items whose values go up as well...
25 Jan Bought the Alice's Azure Dress, because it was for sale at the Marketplace for an incredibly low price. Thank you, admins, for the item update! Everyone wants to get rid of their Alice's dresses to buy the new Dragon Gowns!
23 Jan Made some money by the usual ways, as well as vending.
20 Jan Done with the second avi contest, the ordinary avatar contest. Congrats to the winner!
