Alright, I'm just going to straight up start with the FAQs for this RP, since it would be easier to do so. I?m asking that if you join, please be semi-literate, so that the thread can be enjoyable for all who come.

Q: What does Nyrhaw Unule stand for?
A: It stands for Battle of the Portals.
Q: Who even had the time to come up with a fantasy type world?
A: That would be Leipha. It's originally for her story, but she got really bored?
Q: What is the time scheme?
::Work with me and try to imagine this scenario:: [example]
First off, the time scheme is a mixture of the mid-evil times, fantasy, and the future. So you'll see a little bit of everything in here. Let's get a few things straight though: since the time is combined, we are still a simple world, so when you see a zeppelin in the air, it's probably going to be rusted because of the lack of resources; or maybe you'll see a dragon of some sort in the forests. The clothing is rather mid-evil time-ish. NO BATHING SUITS AT ALL. So let's get an example going:
A boy in long black pants with a long black shirt and brown belt lies in the grass. His head in tilted down, and covered with a black fisherman's hat. A slight change in the breeze, and the sudden warmth drop caused him to remove his hat, revealing a pale face with green eyes and dark brown hair; a look of anger crossed his face once he looked up and saw a black dragon racing to get away from a rusty zeppelin. Shaking his head, he covered face once more, and thought to himself about returning to the ocean... [/example]
It doesn't have to be something like that, but there's an example for how you can describe your charry; so keep clothes looking like you came from the mid-evil times...or better yet, do a mixture of mid-evil with future. For example, if you want a trench coat, you can have one; just make sure it's reasonable and fits the time scheme. Keep in mind that communication is only possible through messenger birds...and that it's RARE to see electronics. Most of the energy will be coal, wood and the crystals, ((in the process of making them)), that are needed for daily living. Another thing to remember is that most buildings are made out of stone or wood; nothing else. Since we're simple, then there would automatically be a vast land of forests, woods, savannas and other what nots of the world.
Q: What's the plot line for the thread?
A: NU starts off as a peaceful world, where almost everyone can bare one another, with the occasional evil trying to take over. The Sajin is the sole keeper of the portals; they have to stay in the portals, and make sure that the portals are not misused. They are immobilized in one spot that is the center of the portals; that is where people must get through with her permission, to meet the God/desses or Guardians. So basically, the Sajin's life is fairly boring, so they start to think about how unfair it is to be stuck in one place at all times. The Sajin finally gets the courage to challenge the God/desses, Guardians and the Ehlome for the fate of Nyrhaw Unule; one factor that is unknown to the God/desses and Guardians IC, the Sajin is stronger than them.
Q: Does my character have to be the same gender as I am?
A: As far as my knowledge goes....no...Oo;
Q: Are we allowed pets?
A: That you are...because I love having them...^^ [EDIT] I'm going to add that any animal, mystical or not, is allowed. People who are not of Royalty, God/dess or Guardian...do have to watch what they choose. (ex: Commoner can't have rare mystical animal, but they can have a rare animal such as a tazmanian tiger) [/EDIT]
Anymore questions? These are the most asked questions that we've gotten from everyone...so...that would be the reason for the shortness of the FAQs. Other than that, PM Leipha for your question to be posted here and answered.
