[size=18][color=blue][b]The Story[/b][/color][/size] [size=10]Once long ago, when the world was still young and new, there existed a race of holy beings who gave their blessings to the land and controlled a vast amount of power. They provided their gentle guidance and diplomacy to the masses for thousands of years, and were worshipped by their many followers for as long as their presence remained evident. These blessed creatures were the Angels, who existed in large numbers and were grouped to offer assistance to all people of the world. The Angels were governed by the Seraphs, who had ultimate power and were considered to be the strongest deities of all Angels. There also existed four divisions of lower Angels who all had different tasks: The Kiorna were the messengers; The Cevorian were the deathbringers; The Raeyti were the intellectuals; The Zephirae were the guardians. Each division of Angels assisted (or hindered) the world in certain ways, and each was connected to the mortal people through the work that was performed by them. The Zephirae Angels were the most popular of the divisions, mainly because they were the ones who interacted with the mortals the most. Each mortal being was assigned to a Zephirae from birth, and the Angel that was linked to them would serve as the person's guardian until death. They would offer guidance, good advice and mental support to their assigned person, and the two would often create strong bonds of friendship (and, at times, love) - A Zephirae could never leave the one that they were linked to, or they would face certain death and expulsion from the Angels as a whole. However, all good things must come to an end, and eventually the lore of the Angels died out and became nothing more than myth. The people of the world flourished, even with the absence of the Angels, and has come to be what it is today. Although the Angels were not honored as they were before, they existed for all of those years as semi-dormant creatures, never departing from their holy realm, but still commanding the people in nondistinct ways. The Zephirae were not of use for this entire time, since they could only have an influence on the world by being physically present with the mortals; The Kiorna, Cevorian and Raeyti Angels could do their work without being seen, and were able to do so despite the lack of worship. The Zephirae could only lie in waiting, anticipating the time when they would be called upon once again. Over time, the Seraphs began to notice the world of Gaia, which was heavily populated with many unique people and had no strict laws of religion or myth. The Seraphs, who were desperate to repopulate the Zephirae with the common people, began to try and reawaken them. However, they were not in luck, for most of the Zephirae had wasted away over time and were incapable of returning to the mortals at their current state; after all, they had been completely dormant while the other Angels could still flouish in some ways. The Seraphs, realizing how important the Zephirae were, began to recreate these fallen Angels - they were reborn as tiny infants, and the Seraphs began to entrust certain Gaians with these Angel children.. in hopes that they would be willing to raise the reborn Zephirae and prepare them for their futures as guardian Angels. The Zephirae will grow quickly and their powers will show at an early age; each Zephirae will have their own unique abilities and personalities. At one point, they will be old enough to return to their realm to live out their duties.. but for the time being, it is up to those chosen Gaians to ensure that the Angels live a good life before they are recalled and given their own tasks as full-fleged Zephirae. Even when the Zephirae will be required to return to their own realm, they will not easily forget their lives with their Gaian caretakers - and there is a chance that some of the Zephirae will be qualified for the position of Seraph among all Angels. Only time will tell the fate and future of these young Zephirae and their adventures in the world of Gaia...[/size]

[b]2.[/b] [color=red]Please do NOT pester or beg for an Angel![/color] If you constantly bug or whine for an one, it will undoubtedly land you a spot on the Blacklist. :\ And if you're put on the Blacklist, that will severely reduce your chances of ever getting an Angel. An announcement will be made when there will be opportunities to recieve an Angel, be it through an auction/contest or by means of another method. Please be patient! [b]3.[/b] [color=red]There will only be one Angel per caretaker.[/color] There are a few reasons for this. Allowing a Gaian to own more than just one Angel is unfair, mainly because very few of these creatures will be found, and I would like for everyone to have an equal chance at getting one. Also, taking care of one Angel is hard enough, because a lot of roleplaying is involved with the development of the Zephirae. You also wouldn't want your child to feel neglected or bitter if you're taking care of two, would you? [b]4.[/b] [color=red]In order for your Angel to grow and develop, you MUST include the image/certificate of your Angel in your signature![/color] If you don't, then it will SEVERLY stunt the growth of your child. I understand if your sig is almost full and it wouldn't be easy for you to include the whole image.. if that is the case, then I would be perfectly fine if you decided to include a smaller picture of your Angel in a randomizer sig or a grouping of all your pets. Just as long as your Angel's in there somewhere, that's what matters to me. We want to be able to see their mugshots. XD [b]5.[/b] [color=red]You also must direct link to your Angel's image.[/color] PLEASE. I will give you the URL once your Angel is ready, and remember to always direct-link.. otherwise, your Angel won't grow properly. [b]6.[/b] [color=red]The Zephirae Angels are roleplay intensive. This means that roleplaying with your Angel, the other Angels and their caretakers is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED![/color] You can roleplay in the main thread, as well as in your own personal diary (which is created for you when we discuss the arrival of your Angel). Please, above anything else, remember to have fun when you RP. Keep in mind that your Angel is your own creation (as far as OOC goes) - you're the one who is in charge of the way they grow and develop. You can go wild and make your child into whatever you'd like for it to be. Interacting with your Angel will have a large influence on its life, as well as interaction with other Angels. Having your child communicate with its fellow Angels will influence its associations and status among them, as well as its love life and many other things. [b]7.[/b] [color=red]You will be required to keep a diary or journal for you and your Angel.[/color] As mentioned before, the journal will be made for you as a thread in the Breedables Roleplay forum, and from there you will be able to post as you see fit. As far as your journal goes, you can post whatever you'd like there - also, if you approve, others can also post there and leave gifts or mementos for you and your Angel. You can showcase pictures of your child, diary entries of their own, and you can roleplay with others within your personal thread. It's really appreciated!)[/color] [b]8.[/b] [color=red]You will also be allowed to buy and recieve gifts for your child..[/color] these gifts can come from any mini shop on Gaia, or from our own Item Shoppe. As stated above, you're allowed to post them in your journal. Gifts and toys are encouraged, because they will most likely have somesort of influence on your Angel's life.. particuarly during the Infant and Child stages. They will also make your Angel a happier child, which is always a bonus. Kinari will also pop in every once in awhile, perhaps with gifts for your Angel.. we'll see. :3 [color=green](The Item Shoppe of this thread is currently offline, but, it'll be up shortly!)[/color] [b]9.[/b] [color=red]The Zephirae Angels WILL be able to breed, but not until they reach their Adult stage of life.[/color] When this time starts to come for some of the Angels, a separate section of the thread will be made specificially for having children. Until then, though, there's not much to it. [b]10.[/b] [color=red]Most importantly, please do NOT harrass the caretakers of the Angels and beg them for their children![/color] The current Angels are not to be sold again; they permanently belong to the caretaker that has been assigned to them, and this will not change unless there are very special circumstances that are put into effect. :/ If you're reported as pestering one of the caretakers, you will also be placed on the Blacklist and that will severly reduce your chances of getting your own Angel. Then, I will PM you and we can work out the design details of your potential child. ^.^ Once it's all said and done, you will need to pay me a flat fee of [color=red]10,000[/color] gold, and then I will finish up your Angel's image and certificate, as well as your diary for you to post and roleplay in. [color=blue]Okay, so I want an Angel. Are there any restrictions as to what I can create?[/color] Actually, yes.. there are a few restrictions. This is important, mainly because the entire Zephirae Angels concept is based on a novel that Kinari is in the process of writing, and we would honestly like to keep it all in a continuity as far as the characters go. First of all, you may have noticed that all of the Angels are anthropomorphic, or "furry." Yes, that means they're human with animal characteristics, or vice versa. They are not fully human! So, please, don't ask me to make you an Angel who is human or looks mostly human. x.x They need to have enough animal characteristics in 'em for them to be characterized as anthros. Again, this is a requirement so that the entire roleplay can be somewhat more organized. If you're not sure of what "anthro" means, then just look at the current Angels and see for yourself -- If you still have questions, feel free to ask! We don't bite. :3 Your Angel can be an anthro version of any animal, though. If you want to have an Angel who is a generic, domesticated feline, that is perfectly alright with me. Or, if you'd like something a little more exotic.. such as, say, an ocelot or a wombat, ANYTHING (crazy markings, colors), that's cool too! Go request a tiger with rainbow-colored stripes if you want. :3 Just remember that they're angelic, which means they should probably have somesort of wings on them. Their wings can look however you'd like, so feel free to exercise your creative license some. We won't kill you for it. >.> As far as their history goes, you don't have to make that up right away. Take your time with that - if you want, you can choose to reveal that in your roleplaying. As I mentioned earlier, the Angels can come from any time in history, any culture, whatever. If you want yours to come from Australia, or the Roman empire, anything like that.. that's fine. That, or they can just be an everyday person living in our modern world. [size=18][color=blue][b]Familiar Faces[/b][/color][/size] [b]Gallamonde[/b] - Acting as Head Seraph, Gallamonde oversees the lives and activities of all Angels (this includes the Kiorna, Cevorian, Raeyti, and Zephirae Angels). A former Zephirae himself (before being promoted to Seraph), he is very fond of the young Angels and their Caretakers. He is often referred to as the Lifegiver, and is considered the one responsible for the rebirths of the current Zephirae. Gallamonde often visits the HQ to spend time with the young Angels, acting as a mentor and fatherly figure for them all.
