February 8th, 2006 - I doubt anyone is still reading this,
BUT I SHALL CLEAR THINGS UP:

Bye bye gaia.
This was an addiction far too strong for one simple minded girl.
I ended up moving on to another community that is just talking with friends,
not an all enveloping role play community.

Long story short I can't keep up with the new Gaia,
and with my job,
my piano,
my play rehersals,
and my overwhelming semester,
I am done for good,
except for casually checking in every so often.

The Nefs shop will not be going on sale to anyone,
and thanks to everyone who supported the shop and me heart

What are Nefs?

Due to my lack of motivation, I won't be giving you a nice story on them,
just some basic facts.

Cut me some slack! whee

Of course, these are basic facts, and every Nef is different. There are instances where your Nef may be totally opposite than what the following says.

- Nefs are small rodent-like creatures, with wings that are not quite attached to their bodies.

- Although they can fly, they prefer to stand on a solid surface rather than being in the air, and usually only use flying as a means of transportation.

- Nef wings come in all shapes and sizes. Nefs with Demon wings tend to have a more destructive personality, whereas nefs with Angel wings are more calm.
Should there ever be a nef with one of each wing, there may be some personality conflict..

- They're good diggers, and can make a mess of your garden if they feel like it. They are also known to make burrows in the ground.

- Although Nefs look cute and innocent, they have sharp little claws and teeth. Should they get in a really bad mood, they take to shredding things surprised

- Nefs are quite sociable, (almost clingy) and will often become very attached to other animals, pets or people.

- A Nef's tail constantly glows. It never changes colour, but will become dull if they are unhealthy, and especially bright if they are nervous or excited.

- Nefs don't talk, they make all sorts of meeping, growling, hissing, ect noises, and have very descriptive facial expressions and body language. After living with a Nef for a long time, you may begin to understand each other so well, it seems like you're speaking to each other..

Although Nefs can easily understand the meep-and-growl language of other nefs.

Flatsale Rules

If you simply must buy for a friend, I need them to post in the thread saying its okay.

Because I can't always guarantee being online for a flatsale, we'll have a prompt flatsale instead 3nodding

Heres how it'll all go down.

Proceedure

1. The promt for the flatsale will be stated in the first post of the shop. It will be a random question, which you should answer as creatively as you like (a few sentences will do just fine.)
Make sure to state which Nef you would like with your submission.

2. Post the submission at the specified flatsale time. If I'm online, I'll post a nice large "GO!" on the thread. If I'm not online, watch your clock for the start. Because some people's clocks may be fast, I will still accept submissions 10 minutes off of the flatsale time.
No major editing of submissions, please. Spelling and grammar may be editted after you submit.

There will be 5 entries allowed for each Nef. Once a Nef Receives 5 entries, that nef will be 'closed to entries,' and no more entries will be allowed.

3. I will then judge the entries, and post in the thread who won which Nef.
Should there be any nefs still un-purchased, and you did not win one, you can submit an entry again, but it must be a different response.

Flatsales will end midnight of that day, unless there are still nefs left un-purchased.

Hopefully that was clear, if you have any questions, please post them.

If I decide to open up a custom spot, I will post so in the thread, stating that I am taking a custom order.
The first person to post asking to order a custom will get that spot.
Customs cost either 2 sealed letters or 8k.

When ordering a custom, please tell me all of the following:

3. Colours and markings -
4. Items (Halo, Fangs, ect) -
5. Small Lineart edits? -
6. Name -
7. Whether you'd like it to start as an egg or an adult. -

1. You mean you give away free nefs? I want a free nef! Gimme gimme!
Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.
There are a few ways to get a free nef, although its rare, and please do not beg.

1. I may just offer one to you, if it was never paid for in the flatsale, or if I have an extra Nef I don't plan on selling.
OR
2. Helping me out a lot with the thread, sales, or quests of mine.

2. What fonts did you use?
I used Bulky Pixels for the "_____________ edition" part, and all the other fonts on the tag were created by myself.
The fonts in the headers of the shop are called Monafont.

3. I want my nef to look like this other nef...
Any nefs with custom lineart will not ever be reproduced, unless you get the permission of the owner. I don't think someone who spent their money and/or time to get a custom lineart Nef would want their design recreated 3nodding

4. Why are you mean to me? crying

5. I have a suggestion!
Wh00t! Suggestions for the thread are loved, please post them.
Suggestions for themed Nefs, thread events, and all that jazz are very welcome.

7. Do I need to RP?
Nope 3nodding But casually RPing in the thread is welcome. Nefs are meant to be primarily RPed with other pets, due to their simplicity and resemblance to a familiar.
It would be nice if you stopped by the shop to talk and whatnot though.
Should you be quitting gaia, and you have no intention of coming back, please inform me so I can find a new home for the nef 3nodding

8. How long will each stage take?
It will take a little less than a week for a Nef to go from an egg to an adult. If you post more often, it may be quicker.

9 Can I bribez j00?
If you really want a custom, and you don't want to wait around to snatch up a custom spot, then all I have to say is How big is your bribe? wink
It would have to be larger than the regular custom price, and it would all depend on my time and my motivation.
But the best way to get a Nef is to really just post a lot and snatch a real custom slot.
