One staple of the American comic book industry is the time honored tradition of crossovers. Batman fights Predators . . . Xenomorphs (of the movie Alien) attempt to infect Superman . . . Carnage goes to great and humiliating lengths just to meet (and later attempt to eviscerate) his hero, the Clown Prince of Crime. The Entire Marvel and DC universes duke it out in a series of (fan voted) battles in which (in the story line . . ) only one would survive.
In Japanese animation and manga . . . not so much, to my knowledge. At least not officially. I'm sure that tons of crossover dojinshi exist. Which brings me to my point.
Ignoring questions of licensing, what crossovers would YOU like to see? What story lines would you attach to them? These can be anything. Both sides American, both sides Japanese, American to Japanese, more than two at once . . .
One crossover I'd love to see . . . Batman: Beyond the Crisis. WayneCorp's favorite Ex-Executive, Blight, manages to find himself in the world of Genom, Boomers, and the Knight Sabers. A one Chairman Quincy makes him a unique offer . . . destroy the Knight Sabers, and a new (Boomer) body will be constructed to house the man's mind in (A la Mason/Largo). Of course, the Future Knight follows along in the Batmobile. Chaos ensues as the Sabers are unsure of what to make of this kid in a suit as advanced as their own.
