We, the fellow lovers of anime, are being prosecuted by evil
journalism boys who think it's okay to rival the articles that PRAISE
anime.

Please help us on our quest to change this horrible article. Please
read this article, then email the school newspaper administrator with
your opinions on the article, and anything you might want to change
about it. Pleasse protect our anime from crazy
"we-hate-Japan-it's-stupid" boys. Please support our anime by not
using cuss words, and being very calm about this matter. (Even though
it stinks.)

I think they over exagerated in the article, only one or 2 animes have people that can shoot big balls of energy out of their hands (Dragonball saga) and the clothes aren't as big as blimps, sure some will have big clothes maybe 1, 2 even 3 but not every single one! And not everybody has big white chunks for teeth...and I like the big hair!
Anyway anime beats staying up for 4 days playing a stupid damn video game! I mean that's bad for your health!

Doesn't make me furious one bit. There will be people that hate anime. There will be people that love it. Not everyone has to be one or the other. I say that we let them have their opinion, and go on with our daily lives...

Yeah I kinda agree to that too, some people hate it and I just let them hate it, but I think they're overdoing it...they're exaggerating. (sp?)

Well, I have to say one thing. Is that they might not even know that they are watching some type of anime. There are shows that some people watch that are anime, they just don't know it. I'm just making a point.

i respect peoples opinion, but they couldve at least said it politely! not like"*coughcough*its reallyreallyreally stupid*coughcough*" the way they wrote it, it just seemed like two immature people saying they hate anime! stressed

Im not mad at them of course there will be non-fans of Anime and Manga. My problem was, that these guys are really poor article writters, who have only based their opinions on a few things (Dragon Ball Z). As for the shooting balls of fire and flying, Seen X-men or Supreman much? Yeah they fly and do a whole bunch of the same things from what I've seen. And alot of anime fans have done the same gamers things that they glorify too. Anyways, I feel sorry for the school that uses them as a reporter, because obviously, they don't know how. Any reporter that uses "really really really really stupid" as their proof...isn't much of a reporter if you ask me. But I guess they just need someone to nicely and calmly explain to them the meaning behind a few of the things they mention, that is if they are the type of people to listen. oh well.

Exactly. If you're going to write an article on something like this, the very least one can do is to sample various types of anime before writing. Calling themselves sophisticated writers and then writing a poor article without even titles to supply proof says nothing for their credibility. But I would't worry about it, it's just an article. Trust me I've seen much worse articles of parents claiming that anime is the devil and should be banned etc, and no harm has come of it yet. Just one or two people's opinions in a vast sea of people. It's their opinion and they're entitled to it. Surely you can't force the entire world to like anime, just like you can't force the entire world to choose cats over dogs or vice versa.
