One day while I was flying around Gaia in my airship, I spotted a glittering feather floating in the sky.

I fired up my ship so that I could catch it for further inspection. Upon grasping, the feather was so icy that my hand turned bright red. I set it down in my living quarters on board the SS Starfox and forgot about it for a couple days.

On one morning while I slept, a cold paw brushed against my face. I woke up immediatly and saw sapphire eyes in a furry face staring right at me. It was a cat with wings! I was amazed. She was so tiny that I could hold her in the palm of my hand. Her body was freezing so I set her down upon my pillow. I named her Snowi later on. She spoke to me to my amazement and told me more about her when asked.

When an angel loses a feather from their wings, it sometimes floats down to Gaia. If the feather is caught by a Gaian of pure heart, then it will turn into a magical animal called an Angelicat.

If the Angelicat and their owner perform random acts of kindness throughtout Gaia, then the pet becomes stronger and receive special gifts. Once the Angelicat, with their owner's help, does enough good to others then they will transform into their true form. With this form, the Angelicat can go to the Heavens.

Each cat is gifted with a special power that is unique to them. As they grow they can develop their powers with their owners help. Sacred jewel shards scattered throughout Gaia can help them become stronger. The jewels can also be earned if they help others.

It is rumored that even the angels in the Underworld sometimes lose a feather. Because it is extremely difficult for me to get ahold of one, I do not know what happens with it is touched. Will the feather turn into a good Angelicat if the person is good? Or will it turn into a dark Angelicat if the person is evil. It is unknown at this time.

Report from Sirenz: After learning more about Snowi and her kind, I decided to leave my airship explorations behind for awhile and set up an Angelicat shop in Barton Town.

I created these pets back in January 04. Some of their owners may of left Gaia, so I will send out PMs. If any Angelicats are ownerless, then I will have an RP contest with them.

There are very few Angelicats so far, 12 in fact.
Ways to get them are:

Auctions:: Starting bid: 500g/lasts for a week or less
Raffles:: 100g/ticket: Unlimited tickets for 24 or 48 hours
Rp Contests:: Prompt will be given in the thread. Best answer wins.
Flat Sales:: 4k each

The concept of the pet was created to bring more kindness to the world of Gaia.

A random act of kindness is something necessary for an Angelicat to do, with the owner's help, so that the pet can one day transform into their true form.

An owner and cat do not have to do any acts, but the cat will not get a halo or get their last form.

RAOK include donating to someone's quest, answering a new Gaian's question, being helpful, and more. You can search out other ways you and your cat can help someone.

What is an Angelicat?
A small loving animal that transforms from the feather of an angel. The feather can only "hatch" into a cat if the owner does a RAOK..and then waits patiently.

WTF is RAOK??
It stands for Random Act of Kindness. It is something that is the reason behind the existence of Angelicats.

Can you donate to me and do a RAOK right now?
Sorry, but I only donate to those who don't beg and those who I feel really deserve my charity.

How can I get one?

How much will they cost?
Some can be won from an RP contest and others will be flatsold for 4k.

It is so those who really want one can save up. If the price was any lower, then it might be an impulse buy. Then the owner who got one would probably not bother to take care of their pet.

No you don't have to, but to get the full value of your money it is highly encouraged.
