Q)What is the Annual Gaian Ball?
A) The ball is basically just for fun. A day for everyone to gather. RP, talk. It was originally created by a girl on her own in the year 2003. Last year, she did not want to continue the ball since she didn't like seeing the greed that has come from the users. The Black bowtie and the Red Corsage were the items that came from the original Gaian ball since the Admins were impressed by her. Last year, Setzer took over the Second Annual ball. We recieved the G-pin from that ball. I was part of his staff. He "passed the torch" to me since he wants others to have a chance. That's not the only reason, though. Whoo...I should keep my mouth shut when I'm curious, but I am willing to help and I'm usually quite organized.

Q)When is it?
A) For this year, we're aiming for March 5th, 2005.

Q)Are there going to be give-a-ways?
A) For now, we are working it. In reality, I know that it'll nearly be impossible to give items to everyone on Gaia. We will have contests(and maybe games) where you can try to get prizes. As for Admin items, we have no clue. For the other years, they were just surprises.

Q)What have the past Balls been like?
A) I wasn't in the first ball in person since it took place in March '03. I registered in June '03. However, I read the main post where the original Hostess introduced the First Annual Ball. As far as I read, it was a success.
I was here for the second ball. I was part of the staff and controlled the Avatar Edit contest. The Admins created out own forum just for the event. We were packed with stickies for each of our official rooms that we couldn't sticky all the main threads. I plan to just sticky a linklist and make in hopes that people will go to the main rooms. Other than that, it was another success.

Q)Where is it going to be held?
A) We have no idea yet. Hopefully the Admins will give us another special forum for the event. However, we will plan for a back-up if we do not get our own forum. For now, we don't know.

Q)What is this years theme?
A) This year's theme revolves around planets.

Q)Can I be involved with working on the Ball?
A) Sure! Make banners, donate, tell friends, or anything else you can think of. Just help spread word.

Q)Why are the contests taking place before the Ball?
A) It makes things cleaner and more organized. Instead of holding the contests on the day of the ball, we want to announce the winners on the day.

Q)How did everyone get picked to run the ball?
A) The Masters of Ceremonies? Well, the First Annual Gaian Ball was run by a girl since she was the one who thought it up. Setzer chose to ask about the Second Annual Ball. You know what happens? Others told him to lead it. I did the same this year without even knowing that's what Setzer did, so I'm in the same situation as he was in. Go me?

Q)Will it cost anything to attend the Ball?
A) Nope! It's completely free. In reality, there's no way to make every single person on Gaia who wants to attend pay a fee. Just come and have fun. You only really have to give a fee to the contests if you've entered one.
