Updated for the first time in quite a while. Still questing.
You've entered a small, one story house. To your right is a wall with a coat rack. To your left is a half wall, allowing you a view of the den. There is a sofa, love seat, bean bag chairs, and one recliner for seating - all pointed towards a giant TV which is hooked up to all the major game consoles, a DVD player, and 7.1 surround sound. The kitchen is past the den and is fully loaded with almost every goody you could think of. Oh, and some healthy food like pasta, baby carrots, and a few other odds and ends. The other door in the den leads to a powder-room. Further down the hall from the entrance is a bedroom and the main bathroom, as well as a small study. A desk with a computer and wall-to-wall bookshelves (filled with books) is all that occupies the study. The bedroom door is shut, and a DANGER sign hangs on it.
A girl with bright purple hair and elven ears gets up from the recliner (setting down her game controller) to greet you as you enter her home.
Hello, hello! Have you come to keep me company during my quest? Come on in and make yourself at home!
You notice the sign that hangs above the television.

I've successfully quested for several items in the past, but nothing so ambitious as one of the donation items from October 2003. Unfortunately I've lost the links to those quests sweatdrop else I would list them here. I've decided to quest for the Devil Tail because, like most Gaians, I just think it's an amazing accessory. I don't want it for the prestige, and no, I won't wear it all the time if I complete my quest and buy one, but it's one of those things that I would like to have in my inventory when the mood strikes me to be a bit devilish twisted I joined Gaia December 4, 2003 (although I only just became active again) and have over 6,500 posts in my resume. The past few times I've quested for things, I've managed to come up with most of the gold on my own. True, I haven't donated to many quests or charities but I consider myself a good Gaian who maybe deserves a little bit of extra help for herself. In any case, I've started this quest thread to keep myself focused and to give credit to those Gaians out there who are more charitable than I am to complete strangers.
