NEWS 3-17-2010: First off, Happy St Patties Day!
Secondly, I have only logged in like, twice in the last three months. I have been avoiding Gaia really bad because I didn't want to deal with the shop. I realize that is very immature and I should just own up to not taking care of things like I promised. In my defense, people on Gaia can be pretty harsh. Even when I comment on Gaia updates on my Facebook, I'll often have people lash out and swear at me because of my different opinion. That's not right.
But anyway, I really haven't been thinking about the shop much. When my netbook caught a nasty virus and pretty much exploded I kind of lost my interest in any website except Facebook. I cannot say for sure at the moment that I will re-open this shop. I may. I may not. I've been really obsessed with knitting and vectoring lately, so pixeling has kind of lost my interest for the moment.
For now, I continue to apologize for those still on the waiting list. I have to dig through some of my flash drives to see if I can find all my files for the store.

OKAY, PEOPLE. THIS IS GETTING RIDICULOUS. Since no one can freaking read the rules and keep sending orders EVEN THOUGH THE LIST IS FULL AND HAS BEEN FOR A WHILE, I am closing the shop and going on vacation for a while.
This is just bothering me to no end. I apologize to everyone that is actually on the list right now, I WILL fufill their orders as soon as I have time (it's been hectic around here lately...). I'm just really annoyed that people can't pay attention.
I keep avoiding even logging into Gaia because I'm being bombarded with orders and I don't want to deal with sending out all these cancellations. I can't have any fun on my favorite website because of ignorant people. This shop was suppose to be fun, not stressful.
I'll be back to the shop in a month or so. For now, go enjoy some of the fun shops I'm affiliated with.
Again, I'm sorry, but it's just too much right now. I would like to try to enjoy the holiday event.

My name is Love in a Thunderstorm, or just Love for short. The cutie on my shoulder is Prika and the brownie on my head is Little One. They're my rats. Prika's kinda the mascot here. I used to be Blackberry Sage, owner of the minishop CandySkies. Some of you may remember my yummy pixels. Even though I've always believed personalization and customization make for the best products, I no longer had the time to do the many many orders I received every day. So, about a year after closing CandySkies, I finally decided to open a new store, filled with only pre-mades. Custom pixels still hold a special place in my Gaian Heart, and I may someday bring them back, but for now, please enjoy these new and updated versions of old favorites from CandySkies.Order Slots:

12.12.09: Gah! Sorry I've been gone so long! I finally got real, not stolen slow internet at my apartment, but I couldn't get my crappy wireless router to work with my netbook so the only computer I could use was my Clamshell iBook, which SUCKS to use Gaia on (it's ten years old. T__T).

11.16.09: I know I'm kind of behind on orders right now, but they're going to have to wait a little bit longer.
One of my three beautiful pet rats died this morning. She contracted little rattie pneumonia last night and I had no way to get to a vet until later today, so I just held her, tried to comfort her and tried to help her eat, but she took her last little breath in my arms.
I'll probably be a mopey looser for the next couple days. I have to figure out where to bury her because I live in an apartment complex and can't put her in the yard here. Hell, I'm not supposed to even have her in the building.
Rest in little rattie peace, Little One.
10.28.09: Woo! A nice, cool, new blue and green colored layout, and more visually appealing examples (no more name watermarks, just ugly lines!)
Plus I'm proud to introduce two new sections, Little Bistro and Cheap 'n' Fast (well, technically, Cheap 'n' Fast isn't really there yet), along with five new items: little boba, ice cream sandwiches, parfaits, mochi ice cream, and a handful of yummy Asian food! Enjoy!
10.23.09: Kay guys! The shop will be getting a makeover in the next few days to make it fit in a bit more with the season. Nah, I don't mean snowflakes and elves and colorful leaves and stuff. Just a bit calmer, less noisy and summer-happy!
The new winter items are coming along nice!
10.11.09: sad Sadness. I was going to have an awesome fun Halloween event throughout October, but I got really sick at the beginning of the month and didn't have the energy or mindset to get it all done in time. Apologies to everyone who wanted some fun spooky stuff.
But for those who like Christmas, or general winter wonder-land-y, holiday-ish thingies, I'm already fixing up some stuff for end of November/All of December holiday fun times! Especially now that it's already started snowing here in Minnesota, I'm in the holiday mood.
8.31.09: I've managed to finagle the use of a free internet source as long as I sit on the windowsill in my living room. It's slow, but it's something. Since I still can't keep up with constant orders, I will be implementing a list of slots where there will only be five orders open at a time.
Oh, and it's my 19th birthday today. Yay me. I spent a good two hours of it filling all the outstanding orders! hahaha...
8.21.09: I moved into my new apartment a week ago but I do NOT have a reliable internet connection. Since I work 10 hours at night, and have to sleep during the day, none of the places with free wifi are open when I'm awake. I'm just going to have to close the shop while I scrape up the money to get my own internet. I'll try to finish the current orders as soon as possible, but it took me nearly a half an hour to do ONE the other day, so just be warned.
8.08.09: My boyfriend and I just both got jobs in a city about an hour away, so I won't be on very often for the next few weeks, especially because my job is an overnight one and I have to acclimate myself to sleeping during the day. Plus we'll probably be staying in a campground while we look for an apartment, which means no internet. Sorry for any delays this may cause in filling orders!
