You are at a beautiful lake. The water is crystal clear, but there appear to be no life forms swimming in the lake. There are two paths, one to your right and one to your left. You can distinctly see that the right path leads to some forests, but you you can only see a foggy mass to your left. In the distance, ahead of you, there is a tall mountain. If you squint, you can barely make out a glow at the top of the mountain.

The weather is a bit uncomfortable. The paths seem a bit warmer... perhaps you should make a choice.

You look around and then down at the map in your hands.

The path to the right does indeed lead to a forest, but it looks long. You will also be climbing in the mountain's shadow. But surely that's better than the left? The map is smudged there and you do not even know if the path continues.

You look at the mountain again, knowing that there is something wonderful waiting for you there. There are many other Arupan around you, each thinking the same thing and wondering which path to take...

Task: Introduce yourself, discuss amongst yourselves which direction to go. They will not influence the difficulty of the quest, only the nature of it. It's okay if some of you go one way and some go another.

*Rose looks around the group untrusting of them, unknowing of any of them she looked around at each of them though, some of breeds she had only seen araely and some of breeds she had never seen before at all* Wow....I don't think I have seen such a pack together in my life *with that she moved around the group to watch these stangers then she looked at her map once last time before rolling it up to put away* I personal feel it would be better to take the shorter path, the sooner we get there, the better!

<Scarlet and Carmelita stood side by side, looking up at the mountain and the choice of two paths they had.

Scarlet, the green-emerald Sia, stared towards the foggy path, her 'scarlet' eyes glimmering with interest.

Slowly, the Ren Carmelita, turned to face the path as well. Her amethyst eyes narrowed as they often did.

The two Arupan nodded in agreement toward the path shrouded in mystery. Something drew them to it. But what was it?

Scarlet turned to look at the other Arupan, slightly behind them, her hair waving in a slight breeze. Carmelita too, turned and met her gaze, and they both nodded in mutual agreement.

"Unsssseasssoned Arupan, they are," hissed Scarlet.

"We'll get them up there," Carmelita too, gave a low hiss, sliding closer to Scarlet.>

Taren scratches his chin in thought as he looks the map over. "I don't think it really matters wich one we take, either path will lead somewhere exciting."

Naiydah slithered into the area, holding the map. Behind her, a Coba, her brother, Dalkenarohs had followed her in, smiling as he watched. The two looked around for the group. Naiy asked, "Hey, Dal, do you think we're going to stay in the same group together? Or do you think everyone will remain together." She waited for Dal to answer as he looked around as well.
He finally gave the reply, "Dunno yet. Let's meet everyone before we continue!"
Naiy smiled, nodding as she replied, "Good point." It was obvious she was too excited. But that wasn't too often, even though she was very nice, but serious.

His tail wagging happily the coba smiles at the new Arupan he has never seen before. Waving he calls out to everyone in general," Hello, I'm Taren. Nice to meet all of you."

Turning to look at the mountain, Taren takes a deep breath before looking over his shoulder at the others. "It's going to be a grand adventure, I'm sure of it."

Haru sat there holding a map also. And really bored while waiting for Talis to stop playing in the side of the lake. "TALIS! How can you stand playing in that cold water!?" He shouted back to Talis.

Talis kicking his feet playfully in the water while sitting at the lakes edge. Then hears Haru shouting at him. "What!? The lake looks spiffy and cool. >> Also the cold is good sometimes...." Just making stupid excuses just to play in the water even though he doesn't like the cold much.

Haru sighs "...Well hurry up and stop playing. We need to check this map...I don't want to get lost and stay here forever..." ._.;

Ever flew into the area and looked around. The area had different Arupan he hadn't seen before but he the moment he saw the forest his eyes lit up with excitement. He had never been this far away from home and the squrriels in the forest were bound to be different. He didn't bother to check the map that had been assigned to him or even to consider different paths. Where there were squrriels. That was where he was going.

He looked over at the other arupan shly. He wasn't sure how to talk to other people and squrriels were a lot easier sometimes.

"How do I introduce myself?"

He mumbled outloud considering it with a little worry.

<Scarlet and Carmelita exchanged glances again. It seemed as if they had bonded to the point of understanding what one was thinking so they had no need to talk. They walked over to a little mound, raised a bit higher than the rest of the area.

They stood side by side, surveying the Arupan who stood gathered, some looking rather clueless about their current situation. "We will go that way," said Carmelita, as Scarlet slightly turned her head, indicating the foggy path. Carmelita had not shouted, but her voice had been strong and it had carried, so everyone must've heard.

"Unlesss sssomebody wantsss to go to the foresssst... then they can get lossst." If The Dead had been there to see them, she would probably have smiled, a slight, cold smile, unnoticeably hidden behind the scarf. The weather was chilly, and yet the Arupan seemed even... chillier. Was that a word?>

Rose lifted a brow to the two who stood and spoke then turned to the one call Ever speaking softly toward him before he held out hand(it's not a hoove and sertainly not a paw, so hand) to shake his* Nice to meet you, my name is Poison Rose *she smiles as she went silent, a secretive smile*

Ever laughed at Taren's attempt to fly and gave him a smile

"You can't fly you haven't got the wings but you can probably better than I do! Like a squrriel probably. My name's Ever! Are you going to that goalie place that's the map too?"
