1/9/05- A new type of Nemoralis has just been discovered and brought back.. maybe it'll be available in the next flatsale?
12/27/04- Whee, I just got back from vacation and I'm about to finish up all the backed up stuff. I heard the eggs took a little vacation from hatching too, sorry about that.
12/20/04- Flatsale!
12/19/04- Vallee de la Lumiere is finally open to the public!

<center>Rules</center>
1. Don't steal my artwork, ideas, lineart, pets, etc. If you do, death will come to you swiftly with sharp pointy teeth.
2. Don't 741k 1!k3 7h!5. It gets on my nerves and I might refuse to serve you.
3. Don't PM me or Kitty to find out how you can get a pet. Just read down this thread and I explain it.
4. Don't harass any members on this thread or via PM. We will find out, and you will face the consequences.
5. Don't you dare buy a New and then let it sit forever, sell it to someone else, or change the artwork. If you are discontent with your pet, you can PM me politely asking to change it a little, or simply sell it back to the shop for half of what you paid for it.

1. Do RP your pet please, though you don't have to.
2. Do put your pet in your sig, journal, shop front, or someplace visible to the public.
3. Do be polite and courteous to everyone including us, even if we get on your nerves wink

4. And most importantly, Do love and care for you pet.

In a valley, far far away, which remains untouched by the ages, lives a creature so graceful and beautiful it would seem an angel to our eyes. It's mysterious disposition and unusually large ears may make it odd to the commoner, but like many things, it is not what is on the outside, but what is on the inside that counts. And the creatures reside, deep in the heart of the valley in an ancient forest, where only time will tell what awaits them in their already grim fortunes. Only those pure of heart and soul can ever reach the valley, but the creatures will instantly become attached to those who can find them.

The first human to discover these creatures named them Nemoralis- meaning "of wood or groves" in Latin, and the valley in which they live Vallèe de la Lumière- meaning "Valley of Light" in French.

How to Get a Nemoralis</center>
You can aquire a Nemoralis via Flatsales, Auctions, Raffles, and rarely, Contests. Please do not PM Kitty or me asking when the next time you can get one is; if it's not posted in the thread either we don't know or we want to keep it a surprise. Nemorali currently evolve in three stages- Egg, Child, and Adult.
A teen stage is in the plans and will be avaliable in the future.</center>

Eggs: Nemoralis eggs are perfectly round, and the shell reflects the child and adult it will grow into. Example: If the adult form of a Nemoralis has blue strips, the egg will have blue stripes. Eggs will crack open in 4-6 days.

Children: Nemoralis children are normally irresponsible and foolhardy, going far away from the pack to adventure and play with each other. They normally resemble the adult colouring, but there are no fine details on their coat. The head of the child is fully grown, but the body hasnt caught up yet, causing it to be very.. topheavy? Children will normally mature in 5-7 days, but it may take up to 2 weeks.

Adults: Nemoralis adults are very responsible, loving beings. Their coats are fully detailed and they are ready to have children. Adult Nemorali normally stick together in a close knit pack for safety and protection.

Getting a pet in a flatsale is quite easy.

1. A day or two before the flatsale will occur I will inform people in this thread via the News section, this section, and a post at the end of the thread.
2. On the night (or morning, occasionally), of the flatsale, watch for a change in the title of the thread and a bump with the text "A flatsale is occuring now! [insert pictures of Nemoralis eggs]"
3. Each egg will have a number on it, and if you want that egg, simply post the number of the egg you want.
4. If you manage to get an egg, please contact me with the following information ASAP so I can get you your certificate.

Alrighty, we will have auctions, raffles and contest that occur periodically. Sometimes we'll tell you and other times it's a surprise. But hey, life is full of surprises.

<center>Auctions<center>

Auctions will occur periodically. We will usually be auctioning off a custom colored pet that Claire has done. They will usually have 2.5k for a starting bid with a minimum of 100g increasement.

Upcoming Auctions:

Like auctions, they will occur periodically. It's usually just one pet we auction off at a time. They will usually occur around the holiday time when Claire has concoccted up something cool.

Contests won't occur as often as auctions or raffles. They will usually involve some sort of storytelling or roleplaying, and will have an uber-spiffy price, maybe a custom pet?

Nemoralis are friendly creatures and are able to breed in a quiet, hidden part of the valley. And if they are lucky, if their love is true and pure, they will be able to produce a child.

<center>Things to Know:</center>
- Breeding costs 1.5k. Send the trade ASAP. No gold, no child.

- You and your "mate" can have up to two children. Claire and I will decide what the number is.

- Please choose to breed with somebody you know, not a random person. Roleplaying will be much easier.

- Make sure that you and your mate are both adults. No child or teen breeding.

- We are allowing two females and two males to breed.

The questions that EVERYONE asks... now the answers are available for you here!

How do I get a pet?
You can get one via a flatsale, auction, raffle, or contest. These all occur periodically.

How much are they?
They are 1.5k for an egg. You MUST keep it on Claire's server if you want it to grow.

How much to breed?
It is 1.5k to breed.

What does Vallèe du Lumière mean?
It means Valley of Light in French.

WHOA! 1.5k is pretty cheap... are you guys sure about that price?
We know what we're doing. wink

What does Nemoralis mean?
It means of wood in Latin. But we changed it to a noun so it can become these creature's names. (Claire takes Latin and I take French)

When is the next Flatsale?
Don't worry, Claire will let you know when it is in the news section (first post).

Can two female Nemorali have a child and two male Nemorali have a child?
Yes they can.

Can they die?
No, they cannot die. But that shouldn't stop you from taking care of them.
