Hello! Christmas is over, the new year has come, the Give-Away has ended, but the Charity lives on!

The give-away has ended! So, stop coming in her and expecting to get things. Read the thread title. It says it's ended. Thank you for reading. ANYWAY...

...But I'd like to say a little something. It's very nice to give your friends and family presents, but giving isn't about getting. It's about wanting to see your friends happy, not about hoping somebody will see that you gave and give something to you back. >< That's what Christmas is all about: seeing your loved ones happy, and wishing the world a happy place. It's about love, caring and generosity. That's what I wish for all of you.

My Charity partners, cherrydevil328, Dea and #Teddy#, Inuyasha150, and I had a Christmas Give-Away in the name of The Blue Cheshire-Moon Charity and the holidays! We had many things to give away and we were successful in doing so. I truely hope that receiving a gift wasn't the only reason people were here. This thread isn't just about the donations, but it's about celebrating! We celebrate, every day, the kindness of fellow Gaians. This thread was designated to the Give-Away, but now it hosts descussion of our Charity. We're always looking for new staff, new ideas and anybody is welcome just to stop by and say hello. We're all friendly and love meeting new people. Many new Charity events will be coming with the new year and as the charity is expanding quickly, updates will be left on this page for easy reference.

RULES

The Give-Away has ended, but I'd like to keep the rules post up, as it was not only rules for recieving an item from the Give-Away, but from The Blue Cheshire-Moon Charity at any time...and they are general rules that all gift-recieving Gaians should follow. We won't tolorate people begging...not in this charity. We only deal with worthy Gaians and following these rules will surely help one be a worthy Gaian for receiving any donations.</center>

Rules:

1)Please, if a thread asks you to post in a certain color when asking for a donation, do so. Our preference is blue. Most charities don't ask this just to see if you're following the rules, although it is a good way to tell. They ask because they are in and out a lot. Posts are missed. Sometimes several pages. People don't usually have a lot of time to read every post word for word. If you post your reason in the color asked, you'll get noticed. They'll see that it is an iquiration about a donation, and will be sure to read it and concider it. Please, post in the color asked. It's for your own good.

2)Be sure to include the information the charity asks for.

Note: These are NOT forms. You do not have to post in this exact format. It's a guidline. You must have that information in your post. How you post that information is up to you! Creativity is a good thing!

3)Do NOT quote your reason. We will all do the best we can to read and respond to everybodies reasons in a timely fasion.

4)Please be sure that the people you're asking to donate to will be able to PM you! Some people have their PMs set to accept only from people on their friends list. We are notifying people via PM if they get a gift. Many people send PM notifications. If we cannot PM you, you won't be receiving a donation.

5)Do not advertise in this thread.

6)Follow the ToS!

Things NOT to say OR do when trying to get a gift:
This is not only for my thread, but this is a general "Do Not Do" list for asking for donations anywhere! It might do you good to follow these!

1)Just because you say it's your birthday, doesn't mean we should give you a gift. So, don't bother using that excuse. If you do use it, at least add more to the reason than that it's just your birthday.

2)Saying your greedy just gives us a BIG reason not to give you a gift. We'll be able to tell if you are greedy or not by your reason.

3)Quoting yourself over and over shows us(and others) you're greedy and impatient.

4)If we can't tell what you are trying to say (This includes using U, R, L337, "n00b" talk and the obvious lack of english skills) we can't give you a gift...because we can't tell if you deserve it or not. Sorry.

5)PMing any of us will just get you hated.

6)Do not try faking a death. If your dead friend, mother, father, Grandmother, Grandfather etc. wants you to have a gift...they should have given it to you themselves, or gave it to somebody else to give to you. Hint: Who-ever it was that "died" did not give us a gift to give to you. Go search elsewhere.

7)If we tell you no to a gift...DO NOT KEEP ASKING AND BEGGING! NO MEANS NO! The more you beg, the more you'll hear the word no. We will not get sick of you and give you a gift to make you go away. We'll just have a MOD remove you.

cool If you'd like a donation, you should read the rules...and follow them. Don't just come in here begging for a donation. There is a large difference between begging and requesting. Begging will NEVER be answered with a gift. Questing might, depending on how well your reason and how much we think you deserve a gift.

9)Don't say your questing without telling us how long you've been questing, what you are questing for, how much you have towards your quest so far, and giving us a link to your quest page if you have one. We need as much information we can get when choosing the best people to send gifts to. We will not make an uneducated donation.

10)Do not complain if you don't get the item you asked for, just be thankful you got something. Otherwise, we'll be happy to take the item back. ><

More may be added.

All Gifts from this charity will be coming from the charity mule account, TheBlueCheshire. Only I, BeautyReincarnated, have access to that account. You will be PMed by one of the charity partners, telling you that you are recieving a gift before a trade is sent. You will be notified in that PM if I am online or not. If I am not online, a trade will be sent to you when I get on.

You should learn to read rules...but she didn't put the rule that you should state who you're buying from in her post, so I'll let it go. She's not on...but if you're buying for the price she's got up there, I would say just send the trade and she'll get to it eventually. I'll inform her of the trade.
