Once brought to this world, each Cailan needs a place to live and play. A place to interact with it's human companion, and form a tight bond. This is the home of Kaii, and her companion Paper.Heart.

21st November, 2004.
My first diary entry... I'm surprised my little feline friend let me open this, seeing as she went through a stage where she just chewed on the spine for a while, preventing me from opening it. Then, seemingly as an apology, she fetched me a pen. ^^

Today was a rather busy day for Kaii... She opened her eyes for the first time and insisted on investigating everything. When she awoke, I thought she would be hungry, so I took a trip to the kitchen to see if she wanted a drink.

I poured some water into a bowl, but as I turned to take it to her bed, I found her sat beside my feet, watching me inquisitively. Our eyes met, and Kaii mewed at me - I guessed she wanted the water, so I set the bowl beside her and petted her while she drank. She sure is one thirsty Cailan!

Afterwards, I opened the back door and let her roam amongst the grass. She found a few butterflies, and pounced around trying to catch them. Kaii wanted me to follow her - she didn't want to leave my side, which I found extremely adorable!

Now, it is time for me to rest. Kaii is sat on my lap, and her furry little body is purring. I will have to put her to bed now, then retire myself.

Kaii seems to have found herself a new friend... After a bit of persuasion, the Cailan eventually went to laze around in the meadows. I went back to my house to prepare some refreshment for Kaii when she gets home, and when I returned I saw another Cailan beside her.

I think his name is Coco, he's rainbow_sparckle's guardian from what I gathered. Kaii had a small berry by her front paws, and Coco had a flower. The first seeds of love? I don't know.

When I woke up earlier this morning, I noticed Kaii had curled herself beside me on my pillow. When I sat up, it seemed to wake Kaii up, as she opened her eyes and trotted towards the kitchen with me.

I think my Guardian friend has been temporarily distracted from butterflies... In that sense, I think she's going to get on swimmingly with Bellatrice, my female Flutterfox. :3

Didn't get to see Kaii much today, what with coursework and the pressure of school pounding on my shoulders. When I did return, Kaii showed me this parcel...

24th November, 2004.
Kaii's been sleeping alot recently.. I think all the playing has worn her out. Still, I've been researching Cailan quite a bit and it says that the young ones need to sleep alot in order to grow.

I left her out some food and water when I left for school this morning. When I came back and opened the door, I found her waiting patiently beside the door.. She leapt into my arms as soon as I put my bag down, before settling down for another snooze. When she's sleeping, Kaii makes the most adorable little purring snore!

Sorry... Had to leave for a moment. That's Duality up there, my Buru. She's recently been reborn, but that's another story.

I wonder when Kaii is going to advance to the next stage of growth? I've been hearing a lot about this 'special' extra stage, one where Cailan look almost human... I was talking to Puuka about it earlier. She used her guardian, Aldara, as an example. :3

I haven't updated in so long because of family problems. Kaii has been coming with me, and I leave her journal beneath her pillow, so while we were away there was no way of updating.

I think Kaii may grow soon... I really hope she does! As I write, as usual, she's just a purring ball of fur curled up on my lap. She usually fetches the pen for me, rather like a dog; although it's plainly obvious she's a feline.

I love her. <3

Kaii has grown! My, she's gorgeous! I bought a separate advent calendar for the little angel, and she took more care with it than Duality did. XD Well, she didn't try and eat the entire thing, instead she waited for me to show her what to do. I opened window number 1 for her, and gave her the chocolate. She seemed to enjoy it. =)

Her curiousity is even more evident now she's grown; she's gotten less sleepy, and now wants to play with everything. I caught her trying to catch my laces earlier... ^^
