How the Lotto Works:
When I am sent the trade for the lotto, I put you on the list of the battle you chose. When all of the slots are filled, I use
Randomizer.org to randomly pick a number. The number that comes up is the winning number, and the player holding that slot wins the prize money.
The number chosen is completely random. I do not play favorites. If someone is continuously winning it is simply because they are very lucky.
How to enter a lotto:
1. Pick which type of battle you want.
2. Post what which one you wish to enter in the forum.
3. Send me the trade, again labeling what you are entering.
_____a.)This is to prevent confusion, for, though I do my best to check the trades and postings in my lotto, I am also questing. Sometimes I go on Gaia when I am really too tired for cognitive thought; I may get confused and think it is a donation for my quest. Please clear this up immediately in this thread if you notice it has happened.)
_____b.)If you wish to play more than one round, send the appropriate amount of gold, labeling which rounds you will enter.
_____c.)If you wish to play all rounds, send a trade of 7800 gold labeled "All Rounds".
4. Send the trade whether or not I respond to you right away in the forum. I am sometimes gone for a few days at a time, but if I see the trade symbol next to my head when I come on you will get put on the list right away.
DO NOT PM ME.
5. The lotto will take place once all trades are confirmed.
Please Note
1.
I WILL NOT PM you when the lotto is randomized to tell you if you won or lost. If you won, you get a trade, if you lost, you don't. If you're really that curious come back here and check. Do not PM me about it.
2.
If You Have Not Confirmed Within One Week of Sending Your Trade You Will Be Bumped Down the Wait List in Favor of Someone Who Has Confirmed and Is Waiting
This rule is here because it is not fair for you to disappear for an indefinate amount of time, taking up a slot, while other people are patiently waiting their turn.
Rules of Conduct:
1.
NO FLAMING OR SPAMMING. This goes first because spam and flames anger me.
Spam is something along the lines of an advertisement. I also consider
bumps spam; they are only tolerated if you are merely a
passing bumper or the thread is dead, i.e. no one has posted in it for
at least a day. Flames are when you are when you are very obviously trying to annoy or incite another user to anger with no provocation. I will give warnings (I'm generally in a decent enough mood), but excessive spamming guarentees a trip to the banned list. Flames get you sent there immediately.
2.
DO NOT PM OR IM ME. I check my trades and the lotto all the time. There is no need to attempt to contact me outside of the thread for something concerning your trade or a minor problem. If, after reading ALL of the rules, there is something you do not understand, post your question here.
I WILL SEE IT. The only time you may PM me for something concerning the lotto is if another user is causing problems. Other than that, don't bother.
3.
NO PESTERING OTHER GAIANS. This means don't be a jerk, and don't keep bothering people to play against you. Also, no PMing others for lotto related topics, unless they say it is alright. We're all here for fun, people, so let's try to keep it nice. Let there be no hate.
TO ALL CUSTOMERS if someone in this lotto is bothering you please PM me about it. I will look into it.
4.
NO FOUL LANGUAGE. A swear or two here and there is fine, I do that too. Just watch yourself, and don't drop the F-bomb.
5.
NO BEGGING. No begging for gold or items. It will not increase your chances to win. If your so strapped for cash that you need to reduce your dignity by moaning and groaning for gold, you should not be anywhere near the lotto forum.
6.
HAVE FUN. I know I sound harsh and bitter through most of this, but really, I want there to be much joy in this room ^^
REPEATED OFFENCES WILL RESULT IN BEING BANNED FROM THE LOTTO. I am a forgiving person and can understand messing up once, maybe twice, but DO NOT TEST ME.
