So, welcome to The Junk Drawer!
Originally this place started off as a sort of 'whatever Sign Pennie could pull out of
her hat' shop, but has since turned into a sort of mini-florist's. ^^

That's not to say that I don't sell other things, though. I'll often come out with little knick-knacks for the holiday seasons. Candy canes for Christmas, for example. It's just a matter of me getting excited enough to draw something. ; D

So, yes. I suppose that's it.
Go take a look around. Peruse the merchandise. Perhaps you'll find something you like! <3

Hey there, folks!
I'm just starting in college, so I'm a little spacey most days. I try my best to send things out within 24 hours. If I don't feel free to bug me about it. <3

Also, bumping! I like the occasional bump. It makes me feel loved. However, I'd much rather see pages filled with happily chatting visitors. So a bump or three is fine, but more than that and the page looks so lonely. .___. heart

Please, be respectful.

Be polite to people in the thread, and try to keep disputes to a minimum.
So don't go blowing up at anyone, unless they want you to blow
up at them. In which case, warn me first. So I don't have a heart attack. ^^;

Please don't steal the images.

Like, the flowers on display. Or the WIP's. I don't include 'sample'
marks because I'd like to think I can trust you guys to leave things be.

Beyond these two, just use common sense. If your momma wouldn't want you doing it, I don't want you doing it, either. ;]

Now, to go a bit more in-depth...

Welcome Post- WIP's to let you see what I'm working on, a quick intro, and occasionally a news blurb or two. Generally, though, I stick news in thread title.

Rules- Quick and simple to-do's. Really. Super easy stuff. ^^;

About- Well, this post. Where I explain what's in the store.

Ordering- Steps to follow when making an order. No worries! It's pretty standard stuff.

Flowers- These are the standard shop flowers. These guys come in a wide range of colors and are available with-or-without a note.

Nonstandard Flowers- These guys require their own order forms, and might or might be available with a note.

Seasonals- Sugar cookies, candy canes, ghosts.. these items are available one month out of the year. (:

Links- Links out to various shops, etc. around Gaia. There are some very lovely places out there!

Suggestions- Flower suggestions that people have made. Just a way for me to keep track, and for other people to scan through if they have a suggestion themselves. If I draw a flower from the list, I cross it off and give the person who suggested one for free. : D

Steps to Ordering-

One-
Skim through what's for sale and decide what catches your eye. ^^

Two-
Fill out appropriate form, making sure to complete all necessary slots.

Three-
Double check! I really don't want you guys to get something unexpected because of something like a spelling mistake, so be sure to check again after everything's filled out. It's easy to miss the little stuff. :]

Four-
Post your finished form in the thread.

Five-
Go ahead and send me a trade. Make sure to include the page number your posted on in the title, so I can find your order more quickly. :] Then just...

Six-
Wait for a bit. Once I log on and see your order, I'll get started. When I'm finished, I'll send you your stuff (or send out various anonymous gifts with my delivery mule), and accept the trade. All that's left at that point is for you to save to your own server and...

Seven-
Accept trade. And we're done! biggrin

All flower deliveries get deleted from my Photobucket account Sunday afternoons, so make sure to save them before then! ^^ If you don't get to them in time, just send me a quick message and I'll upload them again.

The standard flower collection! These guys are what I first began selling in TJD. ^^

As you can see, there's a full-sized sample shown for every flower, and then all the mini-clips around it show the different colors available.
Now go browse! ^^

Chose a message:

Think carefully about your message. It has to be fairly short, because it has to fit on the note in a large enough text size to be seen. So, something like Happy Birthday, Jeremiah! Love you, Jill is fine. But something like I'd just like you to know, Suzy, that I think your choice hair accessory sucks but I really like you anyway even if it makes me puke to look at you occasionally. Oh well, no hard feelings! -Hally. might be a bit much.

Try and find a happy medium, and keep in mind the size of the available space.

So now that you've thought about it, head down to the form.
Write the message down exactly as you want it and italicize the entire thing.

Example:
Message: Congratulations on your graduation!

Make sure to capitalize what needs to be capitalized, and double-check all your spelling. I put it down exactly as it's written (word-wise), so Lov you, jilly! gets put down as "Lov you, jilly!"

THREE
Pick a symbol:

Symbols to go at the top of the note. You don't have to have one. (;

Heart. Smiley-face.

If you have multiple orders, include the Total Cost: at the end of all the forms.

AS A SIDE NOTE:
If your purchase is an anonymous gift, delivery is available.
This is only for cases where you don't want the recipient to know who you are. Otherwise, you folks can send them out yourselves. ;]
Just tell me in your post if you need it delivered, and the name of the person it's going to in Bold.
Example:
"Could you please send these roses to Consecutive the Conqueror anonymously? Thank you! ^^"

Deliveries!

Hi there, folks! I hear that you would like to have something delivered.

If you have one item that you would like sent to a friend instead of yourself, no problem. ^^ That's only one extra PM for me, so it's no big deal.

Otherwise, I'm pretty firm in my policy that you send the deliveries yourself. The items in my shop are fairly customizable and fairly inexpensive. And I reallyreally don't like sending out PMs. I've never gotten the hang of doing it in a timely manner, so sending out deliveries is tedious. ):

The exception to this is, of course, if the delivery in question in completely anonymous. heart An anonymous delivery will have nothing in the note that tells the recipient who the sender is. No inside jokes, no names.. a total mystery. (This also means that you can't send an anonymous delivery and then immediately go tell your friend who it's from. ;D) In these mystery cases, I'm more than happy to send out the items.

If your delivery meets these criteria, Include the bolded username of the recipient beneath the form. ^^ For example...
"Could you send this to Roughshod Chevy anonymously? Thanks! <3"

Please make sure to clarify whether it's an anonymous delivery, or if it's (just one!) non-anonymous delivery.

Edit: Alright, guys, making this clear: Please don't use the fact that they're anonymous to overwhelm me with deliveries. gonk I consider that cheating the system. Moderation! Four at the most.

Thanks for reading, folks! I hope that I'm not being too mean here. ): I'm really not trying to be.

If you absolutely have to have something delivered that goes against these guidelines, just talk to me. I'm sure we can work something out.
