First things first. I'm not too picky about allowing people to post, but I do think a guest list will make things calmer. If I don't know you, then I'd prefer you didn't leave random things on my doorstep without introducing yourself first...

Here is Hala when I first got him. I'm glad he was still very young when I recieved him, I don't know what I would have done if he had known Syrelia up to the age where he could speak in full sentences.

Cypris: Hala refuses to tell me much about him. However, he refuses to talk to me about most anything, so the fact that I know anything about the cat boy is a miracle. I guess it means he likes him. I'm hoping they "clicked" in some way or another... Brand: Friend (I am hoping).

Ailurus: Well, their first meeting didn't turn out so well- Ailu left dents in Hala's hand and he tried to make a swipe at him in return. He even tried to push Hala down the stairs! At the moment, Hala isn't too happy with him, but I'm hoping that maybe they'll get along better later on. He is Wotcher's angel after all... Brand: Leaning towards foe.

Lucius: Hala has met Lucius twice before and seems to have a soft spot for him since he's the newest (likeable) angel. They played with little dragon plushies for a short time, but then Lu had to go do something. She let me stay at her house though. Thems good peoples. Brand: Friend.

Jalen: Jalen is not in anyway blood related to Hala at all. Currently, she is a sphere, and another mouth I'll have to feed... I guess she could be Hala's pet as well as his sister. XD

Kerrak: This big fellow is so far our only pet. He is a big green dragon given as a gift by Wotcher. Despite being a nice plaything, he is also another member of the family, and also someone Hala is immediately taken an interest in.

Dear Syrelia,

I'm not sure if we will ever meet again, but if we do, this note is for you.

At this rate, I do not know Hala very well, but I know he can't stop thinking about you. It's his first night here, and he continuously asks me, "When mamma come home?" My only regret to taking him in is that I cannot answer that...

If/When you do return, I think it best for both of you to see each other again, and if just that is not enough, I'd be willing to give him back to his mother. No matter how much I love him, or even if he does come to accept me as a mom, he will always be your child as well.

Dear Diary,

Today, as I was just sitting down to dinner, I recieved a visit from Kinari. She had with her a blue moth child, one I recognized immediately as Hala. I had recalled seeing him on the camping trip to Bass'ken Lake. When I sat down with Kinari and asked why she had come, she told me of how Syrelia, Hala's caretaker, had left, and couldn't take him with her. The poor thing looked so afraid, taking in my rat hole of a home in with large and fasicinated eyes. There had been a vote among the other caretakers, and it was decided that I was to be the new one.

As excited as I was (And still am), I don't know if I can live up to the kind of mother Hala had. I've never had a child before. In this one night, more has dawned on me about parenting then ever in my babysitting career. Hala is currently staring out the window now at the moon, quietly. I'm going to take him outside once I'm finished writing this. I've had to keep Kerrak, our resident dragon (Which I discovered Wotcher gave us), in the backyard. Hala was interested in him, that's for sure. So interested he nearly got himself bitten...

I'll write more later. I'm filled with mixed emotions about this... Hala deserves nothing more than love and care. He's only a child. I've heard he likes the paranormal, and have just discovered he sleeps during the day. I suppose I might take him shopping to pick out some toys. He seems old enough... I'm just not sure of what to feel.

Dear Diary,

I am quite aggravated. I got home late today, but luckily, Hala was still asleep. I was very afraid of leaving him here alone, but he had asked for it. I suppose he just wanted to get some sleep. I stayed up with him until 4 in the morning last night... We went shopping at midnight for toys, but he didn't find anything of interest. Can you believe it? The one Alien Shop in the entire market was closed. Permenantly.

For the rest of the hours that I could stay up, I introduced him to Kerrak. The green dragon was still wary of Hala after he pulled his tail a little too hard, but he allowed the little one to pet him after I reassured both of them there was no harm intended.

I convinced Hala to lay with me at 4:00 AM and he was my alarm clock at 5:30. I really need to change my hair color... Babies have a large fascination with pulling and/or eating it. In any case, I'm glad he woke me, I had forgotten to set my clock. I got up and made breakfast for the both of us (I rarely eat breakfast before leaving my house), pancakes for the both of us, and then invited him to come with me. However, Hala said he wanted to stay here because he would be fine. He worded it sort of like this: "Nuh nuh, Hala here. ZZzzzZZZzzz" Sure enough, he's still sleeping and undisturbed.

I'll be trying to see if I can get tutored instead of going to school. I guess I know how those bloody pregnant teenagers feel... In any case, I don't think I can fully gain Hala's trust if I have to bound off for classes. I'm just... REALLY frustrated. I'll get the hang of it... One day he will- Oh, he's waking up now. I think I'll take him to the market again for toy searching, and I guess it wouldn't hurt to buy him something from Kilana's shop either. Saving money is a real pain...

Dear Diary,


Well, after a barely successful trip through the market, I brought Hala to Zephirae Head Quarters. We just got back, and he isn't as nearly morose as he has been since he came here. I gave him the plushie I bought as a surprise. He seems quite content with it, and went on to name it "Lilka(Who is not an alien)". I'm not sure why...

In any case, I think Hala might have made a new friend today. He told me that they just talked and aren't really that much alike, but he does respect him. A lot. His name is Cypris, a cat boy with butterfly wings. I've tried getting Hala to talk about him, but he hasn't said to much. Just that he can speak French and that he has a lot of siblings.

He also met the newest Angel, Lucius. He thought he was an alien because of how his wings looked... He's such a nerd. I love him. *Heart.* I can't wait 'til he gets older... Than maybe he'll be as nerdy as me. Nah, I don't wish that upon anyone.

Simba was there today too, along with Ernia, Yurimi and Sitka. However, Simba informed me that Zan wasn't at home, and that he was stuck with their guests. I gave the lion my pen as a gift. One thing that I don't understand... Where did Zan go? Why are their guests being so rude? And- Oh crap... Kerrak is getting friendly with Hala's plushie.
