What is Katamari Damacy?

Katamari Damacy is a game where you, as the Prince of All Cosmos, need to restore the stars and constellations that your father, the Great King of All Cosmos, knocked out of the sky when he was apparently drunk.

To play, one uses both control sticks to move the katamari around. It may sound strange, but it's really incredible to play. The controls are the definition of "pick up and play".

The Characters

The Prince of All Cosmos- a short little green guy. He's roughly 5 cm tall.

The Great King of All Cosmos- really big. Wears cool threads. Very eccentric, and in the Japanese version he is a drunk.

The Beautiful Queen of All Cosmos- taller than the Prince, but smaller than the King. Is happily married to the King.

Hoshiya Mutsuo- The Hoshiya family's eldest son. He is a very ordinary grade school student. His favourite subject is ethics.

Hoshiya Michiru- Mutsuo's sister. She usually has a very quiet personality.
With the exception of occasionally feeling the cosmos, she is a very normal girl.

Hoshiya Mizue- Mutsuo and Michiru's mother. She has no interest in what people have to say. Her hobby is domestic travel.

Hoshiya Tomuo- Mutsuo and Michiru's father. He is the primary supporter of the Hoshiya family. He is an astronaut by nature. Currently he is being transferred alone to the space centre.

I know. xp I didn't think so either, but the game was destined for greatness.

It also doesn't help that Walmart or Target are too mainstream to stock it and Gamestop got less than 10 copies in their shipments!

Yeah. It took me a while to find a Gamestop that had it.

aether- damn, that's lucky. Mine only had one when I bought it, and I had to call ahead of time to make sure nobody else bought it.
