Welcome to Hogwarts! This is a guild for any Harry Potter fans who want to roleplay in a Hogwarts setting. We are assuming that the trio is grown up, so we have a whole new batch of students.

This is mostly a literate roleplaying guild. Illiterate roleplaying is allowed, but it bugs me. sweatdrop Don't get me wrong though...anyone with at least a basic knowledge of Harry Potter will be accepted.

We are discussing making a GGN guild. As you may know, this costs 20,000 gold, and is a large commitment. So, I am asking all members to PM me with their opinion. Current tally:

Personality: She's hyper and friendly when she's awake, and acts like a younger sister/little kid to anyone she meets. She is smart, but since she sleeps during class, she re-reads the the section of the book their on repeatedly, and then she falls asleep at a late hour. And then she falls in sleep again...
Special Skills: She can sleep through anything, can eat a large amount of food and not get bigger...oh! And she's a shaman.

I had a question for Hermione...is your character supposed to be the same one from the books? She can have basically the same personality, but really, we aren't supposed to have any book characters as students, so try to make her a bit different if that's what you were planning. sweatdrop (Sorry for not replying to your IM. I had an away message on, but since you weren't on my buddy list before, you didn't get it. I added you though.)

You guys can start roleplaying. The roleplay starts on the Hogwarts Express. It will stay there for a while, and I will let you know when to roleplay getting off the train and such.

Rothack, I didn't have time to say this before, sorry. You can't have a panther, according to the rules, but you may have a large black cat. 3nodding Sorry about that, but I like to keep pretty close to the books about rules like that.

A note to all student Animagi: Because you are a student, you are not allowed to be an Animagus. This does not mean that you can't be one, but it does mean that (I'm using Kallipso as an example) you can't go changing into a white tiger all the time, especially when teachers are around.

I roleplay as the headmaster most of the time. Sometimes I may roleplay as a teacher or student if there's nothing happening. I also roleplay as God (no offense intended to any religious people sweatdrop ). This means that I decide when important things happen, like the train arriving at Hogwarts, etc. ((Note to new members: That had been my original plan, but now I do have a student character.))

I should put some of this into the first post...maybe after I add everyone to the student list and do my homework. whee

Abby yawned loudly, causing the passer-bys to look at her oddly and urge their children to go faster.

"Heh, you still tired?" her brother Alex asked, grinning smugly at her as he looked down at her with his arms crossed behind his bed. Abby nodded, trying to stifle another yawn but to no avail. Her younger brother, Peter, clinged to her leg and looked up with wide eyes. "Do you really have to go? It'll be six more years until I can go to Hogwarts...you'll be out of school by then." he said, tears forming in his chocolate brown eyes. Abby bent down and hugged him.

"Of course I have to; you know that, silly!" she said, tickling her brother. He shrieked with laughter, and ran over to Alex for protection. Alex bent down to pick up Peter, and then straightened. "It's a shame Mom and Dad couldn't come..." he said, re-adjusting Peter so he'd be more comfortable. Abby shrugged.

"It doesn't matter. They had to work. No big deal. It's not like I'm going to Hogwarts for the first time." she muttered darkly, glancing at the Hogwarts Express, and then at the students. "I'd better go if I want a compartment to myself," she said, reaching over to hug Peter and Alex at the same time. She put her hands on her trunk and lifted it, glad that Alex had charmed it to be lighter. As an eighteen year, Alex was allowed to use magic. Peter stared determindly at the ground, and Alex patted Peter's head. Abby grinned, and then turned to board the red train.

She eventually found an empty compartment in the middle section of the Hogwarts Express, and she put her trunk where it was supposed to go, after taking out a fluffy pillow she and Peter made together. She fluffed it up more, laid down on the seat, and then began to sleep.
