I quested for Portable Headphones from April 13th until I finally got them on August 10, 2004. That's a short time, you say? Yes, it is... Here's the story. Skip if you don't like to read long stuff blaugh

(real) STORY
I had known Kiyomizu as a regular in the Questions and Feedback Forum. He had made the "Complete List of Mods", as well as helped out so much in there along with me. When I started my quest thread, he immediately found it. How, I have no idea.. but he was there at the beginning, bumping and donating. The first donation that was higher than 50g (I got two of those) was ... a very very big one. He had so much in that one trade that it took him an hour to convince me to take it. I got donations from people who also made friends with me through my questing and the shop I opened (Shadowlost, Lord de Lioncourt, EarthBounderZero, Ayselin, Jakobo at the end before he became a mod, etc.). But overall, Kiyo was the ultimate donator and such a wonderful friend for me (not saying the others weren't good friends blaugh )
Months before August, I noticed Kiyo not coming on Gaia much anymore... I barely saw him in my threads and in the Q&F forum. When talking to him on AIM I realized he had a big schedule in his life and was trying to change his situation IRL, trying to make a big move to the states, and deal with some things relating to his former country. I told him that the Q&F forum needed people like him, but he was sort of disgruntled by some of the discussions going on at the time, I think. He decided one day, when I wasn't in town, that he was going to "quit" Gaia. He PMed me with quite a long PM and also requested that I give his items and gold away for charity.
I then checked my trades... and the first one had the ports in it. The ports he had been helping me get with all of the donations... the ports he had gotten for himself months and months earlier through hard work and constant donations to the site. They were just an item for me before this, just something to make my avatar look cooler (I love music blaugh ), something I thought would take forever to obtain... but once the trade came true with them actually in it... without him asking for anything in return, they became a symbol of the friendship I had made with him on this completely amazing website which brings so many people from all over together to meet each other, know each other, have fun together, and help each other not only with problems with other people on the website, but eventually with their daily problems off the website. The ports aren't just a symbol of the friendship the two of us made, but a symbol of all the friendships I have made besides that one, namely with Shadowlost and Lord de Lioncourt, two people I don't go a day without talking to. blaugh
With the extra gold he gave me, and with all of my quest gold that is no longer needed, I'm starting a charity. A charity which hopefully get me something in return (yes, I'm more greedy than Kiyo blaugh ) I want art! heart

Since I'm a mod, I thought starting a normal charity would be sooo hard, getting too many PMs is really really overwhelming. All you need to recieve from this type of charity, though, is art. Any art... the more time you put into it, the more gold/items you'll get blaugh If I run out of stuff, I'll have to close this until I get more xd
I would LOVE for some really professional looking, great CGed art, but I'll even accept sketches blaugh no matter how good or bad you think you are, we can work out a deal 3nodding . If you've got that professional feel ~ I still want you blaugh . If you're just starting out ~ I still want you blaugh
