December 22. 2004\ Many flatsales have been going on as well as many other things. I've been realy busy so things have been a bit slow.

A loud voice could be heard bellowing out of a small dark forest. The trees shook with fear of the voice as the creatures inhabiting the forest all scurried to their homes. "This has gone on long enough!" the voice yelled....
A small candle burned in a tiny home of a child by the name of Kyoto. The boy had silver grey hair and big aqua eyes, his shirt a dull brown and his pants a slightly darker colour. He gazed at the candle light his eyes shimmering in the light it was giving off. The forest had been overly dark for the past months and his people did not know what to do with such darkness. A meeting was being held in town that very moment and Kyoto could hear the talking of his kind. Tiny delicate golden wings sprouted from his back and fluttered from time to time allowing him to hover above his floor. He walked his barefoot pressing against the cold wooden floor to a window. Little light could be seen outside, he remembered back when there had been plenty of light, when the forest was filled with sunshine.
"Kyoto pick up your toys!" A feminine voice called out. It was the middle of day and the sun was blazing down onto the forest. The humidity was great and there was no where you could hide from it. The room was lit with sun light and the floor was like a burning stove to the touch. The leaves on the trees rustled in the slight breeze and the sound of wind chimes could be heard all around. The young boy hovered above the heated up floor, his golden wings fluttering so fast it seemed that they weren't moving at all.
"Yes mother!" The boy called back, gently picking up his toys and placing them in their proper place. The heat beat down on his sliver hair making it shimmer in the light. It seemed somewhat transparent due to the lighting the sun was giving off. It was just a normal day in the forest; the sun was always beating down as it was that very moment, Kyoto couldn't dream of anything happier then to be surrounded by all the light. Even when it got late the moon light lit up the forest perfectly, giving it a mysterious feel. Kyoto smiled as he patted his stuffed bunny. It was his favorite toy; he called it Mr. Chill because of its snow white colour. The boy gazed out the window into the brightly lit woods, fairies flew around doing their daily jobs.
Kyoto stared into the darkness, he missed those times. He placed his left hand upon the window glass and sighed, he could barely see out into the woods, when would there be light again in the forest? The boy walked over to a shelf and pick up his stuffed rabbit, giving it a large hug. He stuffed the rabbit into his pants pocket and floated over to the candle, picking it up by its small handle. The small boy placed his feet back on the ground and slowly walked over to the door turning the handle with his other hand and walking outside. He closed the door behind him before flying off to see what was happening at the town meeting.
Kyoto fluttered across the night sky, only a tiny flame was visible. He floated past the trees and landed on a large branch near the Town Square. The child sat down and listened to what was going on. "There hasn't been light in this forest for months!" the mayor bellowed. "Something must be done! We can not go on like this!" The town's people spoke with each other, but it was so loud all that could be heard was a jumble of words. Time after time someone would yell out an idea of what they could do to solve their light problem. The mayor would occasionally quiet the people down and begin speaking again talking about the new ideas that had come up in the large meeting. The tension of the crowd was thick as anyone could tell they all wanted to solve this problem very very fast.
The young boy watched on listening to the adults take into consideration of every little detail of what could be done. All of the ideas the boy had been hearing were good, but none of them would seem to work. Even though he was not supposed to be there, maybe he could help somehow. Kyoto watched as the mayor shouted at everyone telling them to be quiet and reasonable. "We are doing the best we can to solve this problem!" the mayor called out "It might take a while, but we will find a solution and we will soon!" The young boy covered his ears with the palms of his hands, they were being quite loud.
Wind rustled though the trees, dead stray leaves blew around in the darkness. A leaf collided with Kyoto's face, as the boy startled moved back, but not enough that he could fall off the branch. The boy steadied himself and removed the leaf from his face. He held it in his hand, admiring the colours mixed into the small object. He slowly opened up his hand, the leaf in his palm and watched in the candle light as the wind carried off the leave into the darkness.
He lifted his candle up and peered down below him, a small acorn lay on the ground. Kyoto jumped off the branch and down to the trunk of the tree. He gently picked up the tiny acorn, it seemed to be misshaped. He looked at it puzzled, acorns were never misshaped like this one, and yet here he was holding a rare oddity. He shined the candle like on the small item; the light gleamed off if it like it was a reflective pool. This gave Kyoto an idea as he grasped the acorn tightly and fluttered over to the town meeting.
The adult fairies glanced over at the glowing candle light as it approached, only to see that it was just a little boy. "You there," the mayor called out to Kyoto "What are you doing here? You should be at your house sleeping." Everyone nodded to the mayor's words.
"This is an important matter. We have no time to play babysitter." A person from the crowd called out. Kyoto nodded in agreement; he knew that this was a very important matter. He knew he should not be there and he knew he should be asleep, and yet something was telling him to be there. Something inside was telling him to stay awake, to not sleep and go see what had been going on. Because of all this Kyoto had come up with an idea for their problem. A possible solution.
"I have an idea." The boy said. Everyone just stared at him blinking, not knowing what to say, a child could not possibly come up with an idea that could actually work.
"We have no time for games, young one!" A fairy cried. The mayor however looked on at this little boy standing there with a candle in one hand, other hand clutching something close to him and a small stuffed rabbit in his pocket. The mayor called out for everyone's attention. Once he had gotten their attention he got them all to quiet down about the newcomer on the scene.
"What is your name young one?" The mayor said looking at Kyoto.
"Kyoto." The boy replied quite surprised that he was not told to go home right away. Kyoto kicked his foot around in the dirt and looked up at the mayor, awaiting his reply.
"What is your idea lad?" the mayor asked him a smile on his face. Kyoto didn't know what he was supposed to do, children were never allowed to attend meetings let alone give out ideas….Why was he suddenly allowed to do so?
The boy held up the misshapen acorn saying where he had found it and how it had given him an idea about what they could do about their problem. The people all looked at him strangely, thinking how could a little boy think up something that would work? "This acorn looks a lot like the flame on my candle, while gave me an idea. With everyone's combined powers couldn't we make something that would allow us to use as a light source? Something brighter then a candle light, which can be used during the dark days as well?"
The crowd stood in awe, this boy had a point. They weren't exactly sure what they could create, but the idea had never come up before. Kyoto reached into his pocket and pulled out his rabbit "Maybe some kind of animal with a flame like tail or something that can light up this forest. Something that will be loyal and friendly, so that all may be able to get help from them."
The mayor looked at the boy "That idea might just work, we will make the creature canine like and add the ability to create light from its body." The crowd glanced around at each other and whispered about the boy's idea. Once all came to an agreement they all nodded in approval of the idea. They would work together and create a new creature to help light up the forest.
Kyoto handed the mayor the acorn "This was the inspiration for the idea, so maybe it can help again." He said before backing up so the others could create a new creature. The mayor smiled and gently placed the acorn in the middle of a small table. He ordered the others to form a circle around the small table and begin the magic ceremony. Kyoto watched as a bright light like he had never seen before lit up the whole forest, the acorn in the center of the table started to glow along with the fairies and in a moment the bright flash was gone.
In the center where the acorn once was lay a large egg of some sort, shaped not like a flame, but a light bulb. Kyoto approached it staring along with everyone else. The egg began to glow, a faint glow, but it was glowing none the less. The boy reached his hand out towards the egg; gently placing his hand on the egg he stroked it. Small cracks appeared over the egg's surface and a small nose popped out. The fairies just stared in shock, unsure of what the creature they had created would look like.
A small acorn coloured like creature pulled its way out of the shell. Its eyes were a golden brown and it had a light bulb like object on the tip of its tail. Small spheres rotated around its front right paw and its coat was of short in length. Its ears were stubby, but its tail long, the creature didn’t seem very dog like. The creature yawned its tail lighting up, a glow filled the forest, it seemed like wonders of moon light was pouring in from the heavens. The mayor looked at it "The first of its kind. What shall we call them?" The mayor turned to the crowd who all said that because Kyoto came up with the idea, the only one that worked, he should rightfully name it.
The boy looked at the creature holding out his stuffed rabbit. The creature slowly grasped the stuffed animal and curled up hugging it, calmly drifting to sleep. "I will call them Mongmongs."

This is a Mongmong egg. Unlike most creatures from the egg stage you can tell if your Mongmong is going to be male or female. The tiny paw mark on the egg is actually an indicator glowing blue or pink depending on the gender of the Mongmong inside. The egg looks like a light bulb and is quite fragile like one as well, you should make sure that it is kept safe and does not drop. [stage usually lasts two days or more]

After your egg has hatched your Mongmong with go though three more stages.
The baby stage where your Mongmong will not be to active. Baby Mongmong prefer to sleep most of the time and will only really awake to be fed. They are still very fragile and are to be handled carefully. When you receive your baby Mongmong they will get a small light bulb plushie to sleep with and feel more comfortable around. Keep them away from real light bulbs for they may hurt themselves. [Stage can last for a week or more]

The kid stage is where your Mongmong will become more curious and not want to sleep much. It is best you keep and eye on them for they like to get into all kinds of trouble. At this stage they will still like being around light bulbs, but you wont have to worry about them hurting themselves around them. You may give your Mongmong a light bulb as a treat, they enjoy playing with them and making them light up with their electric personalities. [Stage can last for up to a month or more]

The adult stage is where your Mongmong is now fully grown and ready to breed. Not all Mongmongs will be as mature as you would like and they still have quite a lot of energy. They are more protective of those they care about and make great watch creatures. Most adult Mongmong enjoy watching over your younger pets making sure they stay safe and don't get into trouble.

There is one more stage that is unknown to many. It is very rare that your Mongmong will grow once more after the adult stage, but those who get lucky will get to see this amazing transformation.

This is a Mongmong egg. Unlike most creatures from the egg stage you can tell if your Mongmong is going to be male or female. The tiny paw mark on the egg is actually an indicator glowing blue or pink depending on the gender of the Mongmong inside. Raffles will be held maybe once every so and so months. Each ticket will be 250 gold and you will be allowed to buy as many tickets as you want. The winner of the raffle may get a custom Mongmong IF that is what has been stated if not they will be getting a special Mongmong.
Events will happen very rarely. Each event is different. One time it may be writing a story or drawing and then the next time it may be making a mini comic about Mongmongs. All I can say is that it is always different.
Adopting a Mongmong is way to get a Mongmong that can be in any form. It may or may not already have a name and you will be resucing a Mongmong without a home.

Kubagruus are like little guardians for your Mongmong. Your pet does not need one, but if you would like to get your pet one that is fine as well. They are both good and evil little fuzzballs and the price for them is only 50 gold. They are not always for sale, so please do not ask for one if they are not currently available. They guide your Mongmong to do things somewhat like a conscience, but it is more of advice they give. Some Kubagruus prefer to only speak in riddles. There are some rare Kubagruus which are 80-100 gold, but they do not appear much.

The cost to breed is 1000 gold per owner. Before the breeding may begin it must be confirmed by both owners. They may breed only breed once a month and may have two to six eggs per litter. The eggs do not appear right away it can take up to a few weeks for any eggs to show up. The owners have first pick as to if they want one of their Mongmong's eggs or not. The other eggs will be sold to new happy owners or friends of the parents' owners. I must recieve 25% of all eggs sold. Your Mongmongs do not have to breed, they may remain a couple if they like or single.

Mongmong were created quite a while ago when I was younger. At that time they were not called Mongmongs. Also at that time they all looked the same and only has three forms. Recently I found my first sketches of them and redrew them. I had a site where you could adopt them before, but it closed down years ago, so I decided to start a shop for them on Gaia. I would like to thank Bio for helping me rename them and giving me ideas for them. Please I ask that you do not steal the art and claim it as your own and that you do not copy my idea.
