Welcome to my quest page! ^____^

Hi, my name's [ Hiroko ], but you can drop the brackets, if you want. In fact, I kinda prefer that you drop them. You can also call me Kiko or Keek - either's fine. So here you are at my quest page. Let's go over the basics, yes?

Like I said, you can call me Hiroko. You'll most likely find me around Gaia's General Discussion or the Exchange - but you can also sometimes find me over at my charity.

Well, in case you couldn't tell by the name of the quest, I'll be questing for mini angel wings. Gasp, I know. They're so expensive, I know. This why I need your help. Any help would be greatly appreciated - whether it's donating or just bumping. ^__^

So these babies cost a good amount over 1,000,000 Gaian gold. It's insanity, I know. Well, the thing is, I want it, yanno? So I'm going to try to get it. I don't expect to get it any time soon or anything - in fact, I hope not to get it too soon. Questing just gives me something to do.

Well, I did it. I knew I was going to, but I still can't believe I did it.

I received so much help from so many people.... A lot of thanks to Sour and Rae for giving me their Sash and Nitemare Scarf to make up for my missing items. Then there were other people who just wanted to help me, even though I didn't let them. Ellis, however, snuck in and added to my offer while I was offering to Giro. I don't even really know her. She just wanted me to have my mini's.

I truly love the Gaian community.

Oh, and by the way - I got nitemare mini's. Why? Because as I went along, I couldn't decide between the two - they both were just so cute. I just offered for the first one I could get. Besides, most of my friends have angelic mini's and I only have one friend who has nitemare mini's... so it's fine this way. :3

Well, as I've told Glitter, Gaia decided to shoot my quest between the eyes - and on Thanksgiving Day, no less.

Okay, here's what happened. I was finally almost finished with my quest, I just wanted to get rid of a few items to make the offer seem prettier, I suppose you could say. The stores have been down for who knows how long. Then my friend tells me that it's back up, so I go to check.

Well, I tried to sell my Helm of the Viking and Sea Green Sport Vest back to the store for some quick gold. I didn't notice after the Helm of the Viking, but the store did not sell back the correct item. It didn't slel back the right item when I tried selling back the Sea Green Sport Vest, either. Instead, it decided to take my Angelic Sash and Thank You Letter for December. So there goes most of my offer. .__.;;

I'll keep you guys updated.

I forgot to mention this earlier, but this quest is on hold right now while I get everything done for Presentmas. Sorry. ^^; If you still want to donate, feel free. :3

Okay, let me first start off by saying that I'm way behind on updating my front page. School came up and everything has been extremely busy for me. I owe my bumpers list a HUGE update and I need to add a few affiliates.

Second of all, I would love to thank EVERYONE who has been supporting me. I think it's really working out well. I've been receiving a string of donations lately. I love you all, really. :3

Third... I now have enough to buy myself an Angelic Sash. And, well, as some of you may or may not know... I also really have been wanting the Angelic Sash. So I thought about it for a while, and I figured that I'll probably keep my sash and start over on my minis quest. Please don't be mad at me, you guys. It's just that I also really want the sash, and since I've gotten so close to getting one, I've been receiving so many donations just so I could get one... so there's going to be a lot of sentimental value in this sash, too. ^^;

Besides, the value of the sash rises a lot faster than the value of the minis, so it'll be hard to quest for a sash once I'm finally done with questing for minis....

That's really all I had to report. I'll keep you guys updated!

We reached 100 pages sometime last night, I believe. I wasn't around then, so I'm updating about it now. One hundred pages. My longest quest thread yet. ^____^

Okay, some quick stats. I have 97 bumpers. Yup. My two best bumpers are The_Pinguin and Burnt Glitter with a whole lot of bumps. A whole lot. o_o; I heart you guys, though! [deus] claimed the hundreth page. :3

Errm. What else? Oh yeah. As of right now, my offer is valued at around 377k. I'm about 30.8% of the way there. Yay! Good progress, I think. Considering that I'm questing for minis and all. :3

Oh, and I'm also going to cut my (bumpers) list. That way it won't be so long and will be easier to update. I'll the original list, of course, but the one that will be displayed will show everyone who has bumped me more than once (or maybe more than five times, depending on how badly the list needs to be cleaned out).

I've been so swamped with school work lately, I'm falling behind on keeping my quest page updated. >_________o

I suppose I'm updating to remind myself that I need to update the bumpers list once we reach 76 pages, I owe Iluve a wishlist, and I need to add [deus] to my affiliates as soon as I possibly can.

Also, my friend Halite15 is leaving Gaia and gave me his June 2004 letter for my quest. I'm sorry you feel like you have to leave, but thank you so much for your donation to my quest. It means a lot to me, I only wish that you would change your mind and stay with us. If you ever decide to come back, just tell me and I'll try to return your June letter to you if possible.

Edit: I also have to make Big Baby Sweetz two banners for his charity.

Reached page fifty today. The first poster on the page was vmt, so I need to send her 1k when the bank is functioning again. This is actually the first time any of my quests reached fifty pages. I mean, yeah, I worked really hard at bumping my past quest threads, but usually they were all cut short.... -coughHAYDENcough-

Let's go over some quick stats, yes? So as of today, October 3, 2004, I reached fifty pages. Within these fifty pages, I've had a total of fifty-one bumpers. And of these fifty-one bumpers, about twenty-five of them have bumped my thread more than once. My three best bumpers are Kinkyreaper665 (with a total of 99 bumps), The_Pinguin (with a total of 62 bumps), and misago3 (with a total of 44 bumps). I have also received three donations; and my offer is valued at around 141,400 gold. This quest has been around for only five days. Wow. o_o;

Now I need a new contest of sorts. I don't know what, though. Any ideas?

I had a bit of an OCD attack and I made all my affiliates a quest banner because it was bothering me how all of theirs were all different shapes and sizes (even if they were all wonderful banners). I feel a lot better now that they look similar and are the same size. ^____^

Now I need make all my charities a banner. gonk

I'm going to have to work on the wishlist requests first, though. ^^;

Size: Dimensions of the siggie? Please give me an exact dimension or at least a link to an image of the size you want it to be. Remember that the biggest it can be is 500 x 500.
Image: I'd rather you give me a link to the image you want to use. If you want me to search for an image, it will most likely cost you (a little) more - simply because I'm lazy and my internet time is limited. Also, if you don't want an image at all, and you wanted it to be text only or just my own random design that I happen to come up with, specify in the appropriate category and I'll keep that in mind.
Text: What do you want it to say? If none, please say so.
Font: What font do you want the text to be in? If you have a specific font, tell me and I'll use it. (If I have to download it, it may cost a *little* more gold due to the fact that I can have a crappy computer sometimes.) If you don't have a specific font, just tell me what it should look like, and I'll try to get one. Yanno, like, fancy/cursive, or curly, etc. (Again, if I hafta download it, it may cost a little extra - just a little though.)
Colors: Mention any colors possible here. That is, with the font (but I will object if I think it won't look good) or with a general color scheme, etc.
Effects: Any special features you want me to put on your siggie?
Other: Anything else that I might've forgotten.

Note: Sometimes I will just go and add something to your siggie if I think it will look nice.

``Bumping Contest`` GOES TO VMT
The first person to bump on the 50th page of my quest will recieve 1,000g. The only thing is, they have to be someone who obviously cares about my quest and not just someone who randomly comes in and posts one ``bump`` and leaves with 1,000g. If that`s the case, then the next person to bump my page will recieve the 1,000g.

Note: Conversations are always more appreciated than just ``bump.`` It keeps the thread alive and makes it more fun.
