Sharks are ancient creatures that date back to before man, swimming with the dinosaurs instead. One of the few species that have remained unchanged over the years, though most scientists believe that sharks were just evolutionarily efficient, our scientists have found that here in gaia the many shark species work and live in hierarchal groups such like lions and primates have. It also has been proven that they are indeed magical creatures (sneaky little evolution cheating devils heart ), but those sharks that actually posses magical abilities ‘reproduce’ through their teeth, which they shed regularly through out their lifetime. Only the sympheseal, direct middle tooth found in the upper and lower part of the jaw have the ability to ‘grow’ into adults, uppers becoming males and lowers becoming females. So this means that all the other teeth that are shed, will not ‘grow’ to be anything. Our head scientist nicknamed these sharks ‘Squalos.’ Also, since these sharks are magical, they seem to be able to swim and breath in air. eek Noone has yet to figure out how.</center>

General Rules</center>

1. Do not ask for a Squalos when there are none available.
2. The only way to get a Squalos is through a flatsale, auction, or raffle. (Or maybe a pet trade, list will be up soon.)
3. You can only own one Squalos from each generation.
4. Genders are preset, do not ask for a switch.
5. Be respectful to staff or anyone else in the Squalos’ world. If you don’t, you aren’t welcomed here and your Squalos can be taken away from you.
6. Roleplaying is required, but is not formal. If you want your Squalos to grow, RP it. It’s that simple.
7. Be patient, we have lives outside of gaia too.
8. Don’t steal, lineart, other peoples pets, or my concept.
9. No begging.
10. I have the right to add rules, though there will be an announcement about it if I do.

<center>Flatsale Rules</center>

Regular:

1. First post, first serve.
2. Everyone must stop posting 10 minutes before the flatsale is scheduled to begin.
3. Wait for me to post "The Flatsale has now begun." in big red letters. XD
4. When it's over, it's over. Don't whine and beg about not getting one, there will be other chances.
5. Don't hassle anyone who won. That will result in greylisting for however long I see fit.
6. Have fun and don't stress out.

Lasts about 3 ish days (sometimes a bit more, sometimes a bit less.) Future markings can be seen on tooth.

Baby:

Lasts about 1-2 weeks (once again, give or take.) Markings are blurry if even visible.

Child:

Lasts 2-3 weeks (give or take.) Markings become more visible and sharper, and he/she is considerably bigger.

Adult:

Lasts forever ( ninja ). Markings are clearly visible and he/she becomes a full grown, smechsah shark. heart </center>

Basic RP Rules:

1. Be nice to everyone else.
2. No netspeak.
3. Try and keep it legible.
4. Distinguish between IC and OOC.
5. No long quotes. 4 max.
