Biography
Real name : Crystal Kay Williams
Nationality : African American, Korean
Birthday : 02/26/1986
Blood type : O
Height : 170 cm
An 18 year-old tremendously talented female singer has finally shown up on the Japanese music scene...She is Crystal Kay. Her father is a NY-born black bassist, and mother is a Korea-born singer. Born and raised in Yokohama, Crystal Kay had just graduated a while ago. Grown under the professional musical circumstance since birth, she naturally turned to be a special singer.
First appearance of her voice to the world was at her age of 6, through TV CF. Since her mother's friend was related to TV CF business, Crystal sang some songs for TV CF and people started to pay attention to her voice. Many major record companies tried to get contact with her and finally, Epic Records contracted with her in fall of 1998. Then Crystal made a debut with single Eternal Memories in July 1999.
Speaking English and Japanese fluently (now studying French), she is none other than an 18 year-old high school graduate student. However, she will be one of the artists with multi-national flavor to create some movements in the music scene of the 21st century.
Crystal Kay (real name Crystal Kay Williams) began her singing career at the age of six. When she was 12, she was signed to a record contract by Epic records. Born in Japan to a Korean mother and American father, she now lives in the United States, where she recently graduated from high school. With a singer for her mother and a jazz bassist for her father, music comes as naturally to her as breathing.
