Oh, it's okay! Those are very valid questions, and I should have made that all clear to you before. sweatdrop

Her eyes are what you requested - kind of a darkish brown, with golden flecks. Her tail is like a zebra's, thin with a tuft on the end. And, for now, I went ahead and made her lower half be that of a cougar.. but if you'd like for me to change that then I'd be more than happy to. 3nodding

Women in Asatru

In Heathenism women do not only have equal rights with men, they are considered to have a better contact with the Gods than men. Christian-patriarchal thoughts, like the following quotation from Thomas of Aquinas, "Woman relates to man as the imperfect and defective relates to the perfect," or the Bible-quote from Ephesians 5:24 "As the Church is subject to Christ, so also should wives be subject to their husbands in all things," are completely alien to Heathen thought.
In our society women are still openly subjected to a greater or lesser degree of prejudice. The oppression of women began in Europe with the spread of Christianity. In a one-god religion there is no place for a Goddess, and therefore no place for women on the Earth. "Let the women be silent in the Church, for they should remain in submission," is a familiar Bible-quote (1 Cor. 14:34). In consequence, the women's movement really began shortly after the Christian conversion in the Middle Ages. With Inquisition and Witch-hunt Christianity attempted to preserve the dominance of men and to exterminate magickally active women and healing-women. Voltaire estimated that 9 million Witches fell victim to this madness, and even in our own times there are Witch-hunts in Third World nations. The ideology behind it hasn't changed, and is still counted as a holy book---the Bible. "Thou shalt not suffer a Witch to live," (Exodus 22:1 is the desert-spirit Jehovah's order to his followers.
It was quite different among our Germanic and Celtic ancestors. Women were highly honored and were paid attention, people asked them for their advice and followed it, wisewomen (Witches) traveled through the land, and their intuition was valued, as they were welcomed as healers and prophetesses. Women had a choice of how they wanted to live and the housewife had the authority to make decisions for the household. Women could make their own decision on such matters as abortion. The hatred of the human body and human sexuality that Christianity brought was not present in Heathenism. Besides the roles of the housewife and the wisewoman, there were also women warriors, as for example the Gothic Amazons reported by Jordanis around the year 600. They defended their land for 200 years against the enemy. Therefore women had and have a free choice as to how they want to live. The social position of the housewife in those days much higher than it is today. There are old Heathen customs which give evidence of this high position. The wife carried, as a token of her freedom, a dagger, and as token of her authority the keys of the house. She managed the household income (her husband had to give her his wages), she received the first food at mealtimes, and so on.
The high position of women continued in some ways into the Middle Ages, as for example in the lyric poetry of the minnesingers, which the newly converted Heathen used to counter the official Christian contempt for women. [Translator's note: The minnesingers were poets of the 12th and 13th century who wrote poems expressing the love of a knight for his lady-love.]
In our mythology there are equally powerful Goddesses and Gods. In the Heathen creation myth women and men were created at the same time from two trees, the man from an oak and the woman from an elm, and they are therefore of equal worth.
This high position of women we would like to contrast to the oriental (Middle Eastern) contempt for and oppression of women.

Please don't steal. Some items in here I bought. Others I created. If you would like me to make you a crib or put your plushies on a shelf, send me a PM. Do not post in here about it. Thanks.
Gifts.

I have a handful that I bought for Suna prior to her arrival. I will put them here. And if anyone else feels generous enough to give Suna a gift they will go here also.

Necklace from Rayne Winner. It is luff! Thank you RAyne! User Image
Suna will have a fatherly influence from Randome. But Randome does not post in Gaia very much. And he deffinately does not come to the breedables forum. xd But just for general knowlege, Suna has a male guardian at home who does not interact with her much. And she has a brother, Thorn who is 12 now and growing up to teen very soon. And lots and lots of animal family. And I should write this in her journal

Sept 25th

I finally have found the time and the courage to write here. Randome left me. He gave me all his clothing and gold and left this world. I have been very upset lately. But I try to do my best to not cry around Suna. She deserves to be happy. And have a happy childhood. I still wear Randomes clothing, it still smells like him. And I can't seem to part with it even for a day. I hope this all gets better soon.

Thorn has been a sweety and is helping me tons with Suna. He is the perfect big brother to her.
My last save. Freinds and family may post if they like.

Suna goes with me everywhere. She hardly makes a sound at this age. Except when she first wakes up. She wakes up with a very loud cry but settles down right away when I pick her up.

Rayne Winner gave Suna a beautiful necklace. Which I will let her wear when she gets older.

Her first noise was kind of a baby zebra noise. Something like "Bleeeeh." It was quite surprising. If I remember right. She was looking up at Rayne when she did it. Didn't realize till just now that maybe she was thanking her? Was so cute.

Suna loves to be talked to. She loves to snuggle. And she loves to eat and sleep.

(( OOC I was thiniking that one of her languages could be Celestule. Since she was a godess of the sun. Doh! And of course because she was a Guardian angel before this life. stressed ))
Suna has been doing well. I could swear she has doubled in size already. She can hold up her head and is learning to sit up on her own. I took her to Fa'e HQ last night and she Mrrrrrr'd at Rayne. So cute. She has the cutest drooly smile and likes to wave with both hands.
Sweet Suna.

Loves her Angel cat I gave her. I need to find a zebra plushie still tho. Havent been able to find one. I might have to make one myself. I don't mind tho. heart
Attempted to introduce Suna at the ZAHQ again. Everyone had to leave.
Thorn forced me out of the house last night. Suna was a good girl. As usual. I'm not complaining at all.

She got to play with Rayne some more. And we met a new person. Who made Suna a zebra plushie. (( Unfortunately no picture of it.)) We also got to meet Raynes Doushaki his name is Jing Xue.

Ernia and Suna finally got a glimps of each other. Ernia glared at Suna. And Suna just waved happily to her and made raspberries noises to everyone. She also liked holding her new plushie up for people to kiss. She can make kissy noises. It made me smile a bit. I think maybe that was her plan to make me smile. And it worked.
