About Me:
<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v156/Niksia/SleepNiks.jpg" align="right">
Name: Niksia.
Age: Unknown, suspected to be in the mid twenties.
Appearance: Waist length dark red hair, slightly on the wavy side. Brown eyes, generally quite sleepy looking. About 5 foot 6 in bare feet, usually more so in her commonly worn boots. Quite slender in build but not the point of looking in need of a few extra meals.
Distinguishing Marks: None yet found.
Likes: The outdoors, on a nice day. Watching the sky change. Hearing rain while curled up in front of the fire. Green tea and the odd sneaky sweet. Writing and reading. Colours: Deep red, most shades of blue, darker shades of purple, black. Reading to Vash, giving him baths. When he's asleep.
Dislikes: Rudeness. Having to raise her voice. Litter. Walking in the mud. Being cold. Over affectionate strangers. The thought of Vash being hurt or rejected.
Family: None known. No known love interest.

Gifts/Things I Have Bought:
Gifts:

Given by Rune! He's called Trigun. smile I think Vash likes him, specially his colour. smile

Another gift from Rune, I had to laugh when I saw it. Something to confuse poor Vash with a bit. razz

From Korini, for when Vash is a little bit older. smile He likes the covers so far.
Things I Have Bought:
For me:

Need all the relaxing help I can get. razz

Gotta love stuff like that, saw it and I had to buy it. sweatdrop
For Vash:

For his room. smile

I figured he'd like to see the sun setting in it.

Hehehe, how could I resist that? Too cute.

1st Journal Entry: Discovery.
Today turned out more interesting than I expected, to be quite honest. I'd gone out, because it was too nice a day not to, and wandered off away from home in search of somewhere nice to spend a few hours. The weather was perfect, it wasn't too hot due to a gentle breeze and there was hardly a cloud in the sky. Just how I liked it. I headed out into the trees as I liked to walk beneath them and watch the dappled light on the grass.
Being slightly out of the woods, no pun intended, I didn't see too many people on a day to day basis. I went out to the nearest town weekly to get food and supplies though and to catch up on what was going on. It was nice, not overly eventful but I perfered it over getting that rat race feeling. I'd rather be doing something constructive for myself for friends, helping build or move or anything they needed really.
I was wondering about redecorating when I spotted something glinting in the grass, suspecting that it might be some smooth stone until I realised the shape was all wrong. Bending down to look closer I realised it was actually a pair of glasses. Glasses? I thought that was pretty odd, like I said no one really comes out here and to leave something that important... They looked kinda odd, I have to say, yellow tinted instead of clear glass and the legs were designed with kinks in them. How could you lose something like that and not realise?
By now it was getting a bit cooler and I wanted to go home, curl up with a hot drink or something. I had a funny feeling about the glasses, I knew if I just left them there something would happen and I felt guilty already. So... On one of my whims I decided to take the glasses home with me, presuming that if someone really was missing them that they'd come ask me. Being the only house nearby and all. With that all sorted in my mind and my conscious relatively clear about I headed back home, clutching my prize to my chest carefully.
I still don't know why I was being like that about them, but I'm stuck with them now. Unless someone comes to claim them. Uh huh. So I'm curled up in my favourite chair with a mug of green tea and the glasses on the table beside me. Stranger things have happened.

2nd Journal Entry: Settling In.
So it's been a little while since I found those strange glasses and nothing much has changed, far as anyone else is concerned maybe. I've taken to hiding the glasses in my jacket pocket whenever I go out the house to wander or shop in town. Silly, I know, but considering how I found them I'd rather keep them close at hand. So I've been stocking up, as I'm want to do, and generally exploring around my house. Been pondering adding to it again, not that I need that sort of thing, but just to keep myself occupied.
Having been back to the spot where I found my new prize a few times but I haven't actually found anything unusual about it. One of those things I guess, like finding a strange looking stone in the middle of nowhere or a rare flower in an unexpected place. Makes me lucky I suppose, though I'm not quite sure what sort of luck it is just yet.
Just rambling today, I sort of felt the need to say something about how it's been lately. I hope the shop owners don't think I'm too weird for having my hand in my pocket quite a bit now. Maybe I should quit that before they notice... All is well though, I have that to be happy about at least. And the glasses are beside me on the table again, what a surprise. Such is my amusing life lately.

3rd Journal Entry: Sudden Complications!
So... I went to bed last night with the glasses I found on the bedside table, contemplating what I was running low on before I managed to go to sleep. Must stop doing that, takes me forever to get to sleep that way. Just as I was starting to wake in the morning I heard something like a faint gurgle, which made me roll over toward it and open my eyes as best I could while still mostly asleep. Nearly fell out of my bed at the sight before me, to be honest.
There was a basket on the floor next to my bed, and inside was a little baby with a tiny tuft of blonde hair. He, looked much like a little boy even to my sleep crusted eyes, was squinting at me while wearing those glasses I found! I couldn't believe it, looked like the owner had come to collect them after all. Weird. The next thought that crossed my mind of course was that I didn't have anything for a baby, I like them a lot but I don't exactly get them appearing in my bedroom while I sleep all that often. Was a good thing I intended to go out and get supplies then.
Only problem I had involved the baby, of course. Not his fault I couldn't just leave him while I got supplies or carry the basket instead. Might be a baby but a basket is a basket and I only have two hands. I had to think of something while he peered out at me with a funny look on his face, are babies supposed to try looking through your head like that? Probably just hungry and waiting for me to make my mind up.
I don't blame him.
So I finally got out of bed and got myself ready, still pondering what to do about my new addition and my lack of useful things for him. That tuft of hair was so cute and nearly distracting, though he had finally decided to go back to sleep. I thought about an old blanket I had stored away and used it to make a sling around my body. Not bad, I could keep him against my chest while I was busy. Little guy didn't seem to mind it, though I felt better with one hand holding him a bit most of the time.
Then it was time to test it out....
((Hehe, cliffhanger! Bad me. 3nodding ))

4th Journal Entry: Complications Conclusion.
The trip we made out to get supplies was easier than expected, relatively speaking. Vash, as the little guy is now called, clung happily to the front of my shirt while I got everything we needed. Far too many strange looks and questions though, didn't really want to explain that I gained a baby in the middle of the night without any warning, so I said I was doing a big favour for a close friend of mine. Sounds about right to me anyway. I'll explain it better at a later date, when I'm not so bowled over by the whole thing.
Got a couple of toys, extra blankets, baby milk, nappies (diapers) and all the food and other things I'd required before his arrival. Should have seen me trying to get it all back home, ha, much juggling and far too much giggling from Vash. He's bright but I question his sense of humour. I doubt I looked calm and composed while flaying helplessly in my attempts to stop myself from dropping anything.
Feh.
We gained a pet along the way somehow, I wasn't exactly keeping track of things. So, had to go back and get food and things for him too... Trigun, don't ask where these names are coming from but they feel right to me. Vash likes him, much attempted tail pulling when I'm not looking. Glad I didn't think myself totally sane to begin with or the whole experience would have driven me around the bend by now. Going from just me to one baby and a two tailed bright red pet as well just doesn't go on my list of normal things.
Guess I'll have to get someone to help me build up the house again, Vash needs a room of his own before he gets too big to sleep in his basket.
Don't stare Vash, yes I'm going to make sure Trigun gets a place to stay too. Go back to tormenting him please, I'm trying to write about what's been happening lately.... Jeez.... I'll be changing that as soon as I'm done too. Yes, I'm sure you find that funny but the smell could knock over an elephant.
Have mercy on me... My nose is too sensitive for the likes of baby changing... That rash better not get any worse either, I don't like the look of it as it is. I don't suit paranoia, I swear.
Oh well... Must change Vash and have words about evening bathtime. I think he likes the bedtime story better to be honest, even if he doesn't understand it yet.

5th Journal Entry: Alterations.
Been making plans for improvements to the house, Vash's room and a small outhouse type thing for Trigun. Not a complete outhouse though as Vash gives me looks every time it comes up, it'll be connected to the house. Honest. Not sure he believes me though, he'll just have to wait until it's done. Shouldn't take too long to build, it's the decorating and whatnot later that I have to worry about.
Hoping to find somewhere to take Vash out to soon, I think perhaps he'd be better off in the long run if he has other babies to be around. I'll look into it and you'll probably hear about that eventually. My only real worry is his unerring ability to put life and limb at risk, he's the most accident prone baby I've ever seen. The mind boggles, just changing him anywhere that isn't on the floor is practically an adventure in keeping him from harm. I'm learning how to react at a moments notice, damn near inhuman speed if you ask me.
Oh well, babies will be babies. He learns quick though, seems really happy to take it all in. I think I'll get him more books and things next time we're out, don't believe in there being such a thing as too many. Probably spoiling him a little but I've grown so attached and I don't see why I shouldn't. Bad me.
Vash's latest trick is to pull my hair for attention, he's not yanking it but I expect a bell to toll for some reason. Weird. The price to pay for having hair as long as mine I suppose. I'll have to try and get him out of the habit before I do start losing hair to his little trick.
Time to lather soothing cream on Vash's rash and get him fed, he's giving me the "Why haven't you fed me yet" look again. Honestly, I do not let him starve, he's just so impatient when it comes to feeding.

6th Journal Entry: Babies?
So I took Vash out recently, to see about meeting other babies his age. Well I managed to track down lots of others meeting up in similar circumstances to me. Makes a lot more sense to me now, I don't have to worry about Vash or how he came to me. He's still a little clumsy but I'm getting faster all the time. Who needs training when you have a baby? Also been babbling a bit since then, naming things whenever he can. So proud.
Guess he's a little shy though, hopefully he'll get over that once he's been out a few more times to see the others. I know he tries hard to get along with people, he's always doing things to make me smile. Cept when he's trying to get himself hurt. Silly. So I think this is a good thing for Vash though next time I might take Trigun along to keep him company.
I got some books too, from Korini, she's the first one to have gotten one of these babies. Two actually, I think they're twins but... Tis a bit odd all round, to say the least. Vash likes to clap, as a sidenote, I suppose the sound must be fun to make. Joy, but not in the middle of the night. I'll let him read those books when he's a bit bigger but he likes the covers already.
Just been busy lately, with getting changes made to the house for Trigun and Vash. I know Vash will need his privacy when he's a bit older, what fun that'll be. Might add an extra bathroom for him too, later on. So much to think on. He needs more things too, toys and books and whatever else I can find. I don't like the thought of him not learning everything he could, I don't want him growing up ignorant or rude.
So mumsy now, I'm sure I wasn't always like this, but instinct kicks in eventually. New blankets too, shouldn't get cold... See?! My mind wanders all the time about things I need to remember to buy or do. Life isn't as peaceful now but I suppose that's a small price to pay...
"Vash, no pulling on Trigun's tail when he's trying to sleep!"
"Trrriggguuu!"
"Yeah, let go of the tail sweetie. Thank you..."
"Triigguuu...."
"No pouting, come on and we'll see what's going on."
Heh... I think I'll get back to you, duty calls.

<center><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v59/Kurohano/ACC/letter.png"></center>
A dark figure walks up to your doorstep, holding what seems to be a letter in hand. It looks around a few times; making sure nobody is around, before sliding the letter under your door and out of the rain. The figure lifts a hand and knocks on your door, before giving out a frightful cackle, rushing off into the distance.
Before your door awaits a dark letter with a pumpkin sealed stamp. Upon opening the envelope, you will find a letter inside, saying the following.
Dear Caretaker,
You have been invited to join us at the Anime Cosplay Center this Hallos-eve to celebrate the holiday of mischief and candy. Bring your child and be sure you dress especially terrifying. This will surely be a night to remember.
Yours truly;
The ACC
P.S. Be sure to PM Tenshi_Kuronaho with a description of yourself and the costumes you and your child shall be wearing, this is greatly important!

7th Journal Entry: Invite.
Well Trigun's mini room is now complete, much sweeping to be had of course. Now he has somewhere to go whenever Vash gets too pull happy, as he's prone to these days. Will need to get some sort of picture up to show what the room looks like. For the moment it just has a little bed for Trigun, bowls for food and some toys scattered about. Door to and from the outside of the house as well as one to and from the inside.
Vash has been making spirited attempts to walk, though I have to act as a support post quite a lot of the time. Heh. Makes a big change from when I first saw him, hard to believe how quickly he's changed. Been talking quite a bit too, small words and some jumbled stuff but it makes more sense than it used to. Or maybe I've just gotten good at translating... Now I'm going to have to wonder which is more likely. Maybe a mix of both.
We got an invite recently too! The centre is having a party of some kind for Halloween this year. Took forever to decide what to go as but we got there in the end. Vash wouldn't let me pick something to go with him wearing glasses, in hindsight I don't blame him for it. [ sweatdrop ]
In the end though we went for Beauty and the Beast, myself in a golden gown and my ever uncontrollable hair put up as well as I can while Vash gets a fuzzy suit and cape to wear. Claws are currently under discussion, we'll see how that goes. How I'm going to get my hair to stay put will be interesting to see though, it does tend toward having a life of it's own.
New toys and things have gone down well. [ biggrin ]
The plush was a great idea and Vash loves it, I figured he'd like something soft to play with. The sunset globe is very good for getting him to sleep at night, what a blessing. Put the little dragon as out of the way as possible so that Vash or Trigun don't get to it, too dangerous if you ask me. Much fun and rearrangement, still need to get Vash's room done and dusted so he can have some privacy when he's a bit bigger. So much to do and get sorted out, feeling a little tired now.
But...
Time to go and get supplies and see if I can find some more nice things to buy. Who knew I could be such a hoarder? Feh... Must pack up Vash and Trigun and get going before it's late, can't have him up and about when it's past his bedtime. He can argue about that all he likes, it won't make that much difference.

8th Journal Entry: Me, busy?
Ha... Mess everywhere and anywhere you could think of. Heavily into the creation of Vash's room and his costume for Halloween. Had I known the whole living room would end up covered in fake fur and glue I'd have thought up a different costume. Maybe. It is so cute though! [ heart ]
I suppose spending the next few days removing fake fur from various bits of furniture as well as the floor is a small price to pay for making Vash happy. I really think he likes his outfit, little fur covered claws and a fuzzy mask to wear as well as his cape. Didn't want to go overboard, but that might change later. He does have a way of getting what he wants, though not always of course. Don't need him being wild when he's older, I'm bad enough for the both of us. [ blaugh ]
I'm quite excited for him, he's becoming more and more active though no less clumsy as time goes on. Funny little quirk of his, getting himself into mischief, but it reminds me of how much of his own person he really is. Call me a nervy mom when it comes to the other kids though, I know some of them have displayed very odd powers when I've gone to see and I hope nothing will happen to Vash. What sort of power he might have though I just don't know, maybe as he gets bigger I'll see for myself. I'm only little, I hope he doesn't get big too quickly or I'm going to have a hard time of it. Oh well, cross that bridge when we get to it.
He likes my new staff, trying to get at it instead of attempting to cover poor Trigun in fake fur now. Trigun isn't daft though, he disappeared when Vash came after him with a little gleam in his eye. Silly boy, I think he just likes causing a stir every now and then. Hoping to train Vash in at least a few things when he's older, I just can't stand the thought of him being unable to defend himself. Don't want him to be violent either, it's a very hard balance to keep. That would be for a while though, so I'll just let him have a look at my staff for the time being.
Niksia pauses in making her entry to take up said staff and do a little posing for Vash, who is sitting on the floor surrounded by his favourite toys.
She laughs and spins in a circle, long red hair flying around her as she twirls the staff. Vash claps as he watches, chortling happily to himself. After a few simple poses Niksia bows to Vash and puts the staff down, chuckling to herself.
Easily amused we are, what else can I say? [ biggrin ] I think I'll spend a little while getting some of that fur off the furniture, looks a little weird with tufts of brown stuff sticking to it. Then I think I'll show Vash some of my moves now that I have a staff to use. Bit rusty at this though, probably end up a little bruised by the time I'm done. Small pain for big gain though. I can't believe how much of a mess everything is...
Niksia gets clonked by a Kio plush, Vash laughing again and clapping his hands in amusement. She gets up and swoops down on him, grabbing him up and carrying him away.
"You're covered in fur again, how do you manage that?" She laughed and tickled him gently, accepting his hug around her neck with a smile.
