General F.A.Q.

1. Is there a limit on the number of Faekats I can own? Nope. However, newcomers get first dibbs on the 3k flatsales.

2. Can my Faekat Die? Yes, it can. This is very important. Faekats will die if they become heartbroken. They can also die if they are devoured by a monster. Hehe.

3. Yay, I have my faekat, where's a mate? You must roleplay falling in love and finding a mate. If you do this too quickly, you are subject to suspension. Take your time.

4. How long before a mate can be official? You must have roleplayed with your mate for at least two weeks before deciding you are even in love (and your faekat must be adult for at least two weeks), then you can consider mating.

5. Can I sell or trade my faekat pet? No trading. Selling may be considered if you sale for the same price you purchased your pet for or cheaper. Yes, you can give your faekat to friends if you quit Gaia. No, we will not update the cards. Do it yourself.

Breeding F.A.Q.

1. Can they breed? Yes. >.<

2. How many babies can they have? Depends on the generation. Once your baby is a teenager, it will say how many eggs they can have but keep in mind, they can only breed as an adult.

3. Can I pay more gold to have more babies? You can rent a goddess (Saranah or Kerosene) or one of the six demi-goddess for 20k. (More info in race thread) This will allow you an extra breeding. My goddess, Kerosene can give extra breedings out as gifts as well. This is rare.

4. Do special edition faekats get special babies? Yes. A colorist may make minor alterations to the baby faekat lineart so that they are special and unique like their parents.

5. Can babies grow? Yes, babies will automatically grow into teenagers. However, adult status must be purchased for an extra 3k but may be denied if your faekat isn't following rules or mature enough.

6. Can I sell the babies? No, babies cannot be sold or traded. I will ban you on sight if I find you doing such a thing.

Notes on Mintaka's Sales

I take donation items & letters at mid-GEN value. The only rares I'd consider are weretail and both angelic and nm headbands currently at mid-GEN.

You must not currently owe me or any other staff money, and you must have at least half up front although those able to pay straight out would be prefered. ((If you're wondering my reasonings, you should be paying off current owed money first, and secondly - I don't want to spend months trying to have people pay up.))

Hello! It is I, Kimie Kitty, recently hired colorist for the Faekat Adoption Agency!
9/18/04~ I've got a flatsale planned for tonight. There will be a prompt, which I'll post in the thread.
9/3/04~ I've been really busy with moving and whatnot. I'm going to try to have a small flatsale this evening. I may open a couple of custom spots for next week as well.

Faekat Blacklist

Due to a new shop/new change.. the old blacklist is wiped. However, those that abuse it will be added back.

Rules of the Damned.. er Banned.

1. People who are banned do not get refunds. It's kind of silly to break rules or show disrespect and then expect your money back.

2. Banned people cannot give away or sell their pets. If they choose to stop roleplaying (the only option left available to them) then all special edition pets will be resold and all regular commissioned pets will be deleted.

3. Those that are banned are not welcomed in this thread. This means that they may not purchase new faekats or anything else sold within this thread. If they have a specific question, they can pm it to the Faekats account. It will be answered by one of staff.

4. Those banned are not welcome in the Breeding Hospital. Their faekats are not allowed to breed. I am sorry for those that may be mated to person(s) that are banned. If you want to 'break up' with the faekat that belongs to a banned person, this may be worked out privately. Contact 'Faekats' and if accepted, we will contact the owner of the Goddess of Love and put it in effect.

5. As stated in #2, a banned person may continue to roleplay his or her faekats. They will only exist in the roleplay thread. If roleplay rules are broken additionally, that last privledge will be stripped away from the banned user as well.
