Inoru walks the streets alone, stretching out his arms in a semi-lazy way. He's.. in an odd mood at the moment. Hungry, for one, and he doesn't typically eat much. His mother once told him that if she saw anyone more thin that him, she'd kill herself. She must have. She killed herself two years later, with a knife. It left him an orphan with no father to speak of, and no siblings. All of which explained why he was in this crummy city, living off minimum wage, and staying in his own room in the Adiru apartment complex. The cheapest he could afford.
But all that DIDN'T explain why he was so hungry at 11:00 at night.
He wasn't exactly FOND of being up this late, and walking the streets alone. It's not that he had a problem with the "being up this late" part.. or even "walking the streets".... HE had a problem with "alone". Y'see, being raised in a one kid family gave him almost a phobia of being around people. And that phobia, as phobias sometimes do - turned into an obsession. He wanted to be around people. Wanted to be a part of everything and anything that could possibly be going on anywhere. And it scared him. And that was alright, because he was with people.
It was a strange cycle, and an almost-vicious one. Almost.
He could feel the sweat drip down the back of his neck, and run down his back, over the raw wound there from a couple days back. He'd been pushed down the stairs by his unwitting neighboor, who had NO idea he was there. He tended to be that way. Just sort of blended in... His mother's golden-child, and nothing but. Now that she was gone - he was nothing at all to anyone else but himself.
