LOTTO ON HOLD UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!
Due to many many many many MANY problems I've had recently, online and off, technical and non-technical, social and non-social, life altering and non-life altering... (I think you get the picture) I had not only lost interest in continuing this lotto, but I had lost the ability to. (due to problems with my comp.) However, I do very much like this lotto and I do very much inted to either continue it later or remake it. As for people who have bought tickets, I'll work something out. I'll either hold onto your tickets for when I revive the lotto, or if I don't revive the lotto, I'll work on refunds. Everything is so confusing at this point and I apologize for the major inconvenience. Alot can happen in two months, and I assure you, at the begining of those two months I had every intention to go through with this lotto to the end. I know alot of you are mad at me right now, but over the past 2 weeks I almost lost my life. The experience changed me greatly and it forced me to rethink my priorities in life. I know that's not much of an excuse for having let you all down, and believe me, the last thing I wanted to do was let you all down, but at this point there isn't much I can do except ask that you understand that people do have lives outside gaia and sometimes those lives interfear with their online status. I'm going to see what I can do about fixing this mess I've dug myself into. I'll try and get this lotto working again as soon as possible. Again I apologize to everyone, and if anyone feels they need to report me for holding a lotto and then disapearing before it's end, I wont hold it againts you. That's all for now.

NOTICE: I have been away recently but now I'm back. I'm processing ticket orders now. Also, due to the very minimal amount of ticket orders there has been, the lotto's end date may be extended if this continue to go at this slow speed. I apologize for the inconvenience.

First, I'd like to take a moment to explain what convinced me into making such an interesting lotto. I was looking through the lotto's about 5 weeks ago and came to the conclusion that they were all the same. Sure, some had great prizes, but in general, they were all the same. Now, I've been around Gaia for a long time (don't let my starting date fool you, I created this account sometime in December 2003 in order to change my name, as my older account's name was already changed twice. In reality, I have been coming to Gaia since August 2003.) and it was over this period of time that I've begun to notice how over the months, the prizes may have increased in value, but the lotto's systems have evolved to a greater point to make the ticket buyers feel more comfortable about what they are putting their money into. It was this discovery that prompted me to decided to make a lotto that was different, and I believe that I have succeeded to the best of my ability. The one thing that is so different, is that there are multiple lotto's. But wait, you say you've seen that before?! Not like this! Each of my lotto's work in a different way; including different entry fees, (some of which are FREE!) different prizes, different systems of choosing the winner, and much more! Because everyone thinks in a different way, I believe that it is important to choose which lotto works best for you, because life's all about choices now isn't it? But I've talked enough already, so without further ado, I give you.... *Drum role please* THE LOTTO!

PRIMARY LOTTO

This here folks is the biggest lotto of the bunch. With prizes reaching to crazy amounts and slots stretching out for miles. Remember how I was talking all about choices earlier, well if you're the gambling type who likes to risk things in order to get what you want and possibly make it big, then this is the perfect choice for you! Remember, the sooner you buy tickets the cheaper they will be, as the price rises with time! So buy your tickets now! Well, I've said enough, you've got to decide for yourself.

NOTICE: I've been getting a number of PM's requesting numbers for this lotto. I accepted those PM's making a mistake. There are so many lottos here it's sometimes hard to keep track. But now I shall set the record straight, the number of tickets you buy has nothing to do with what number they are! It just means how many times will your name be put into the lotto. If you buy 3 tickets your name is in there 3 times, and therefor has a better chance of being drawn. Does this mean you can be drawn multiple times and win both first and second prize? No of course not! It just means that there is a higher chance of you being drawn. So please don't ask for specific numbers as the slot numbers are just to indicate how many times your name is in there. Thank you.

THE SYSTEM: For starters, how will the winners be determined? Well, I'll tell you right now I am not using a randomizer. Why you might ask? For a lotto of this size, I do not trust a randomizer will be an accurate determination for the winners. As usefull as they are, I have come to realize from past experiences that certain ones aren't fullproof. It isn't 100% random. They sometimes favore certain slots depending on their placement while others seem to be neglected. I have no surefire proof of this, but I have tested and used many randomizers and this is the conclusion I have come to. Now I don't doubt that some of them (randomizer.org for example) are very good and apear to be 100% random, but they all work in the same way and if one can malfunction, that's reason enough for me to not trust any for this, as it is you putting in money in hopes of getting more out, I don't want to risk your chances.

So then, how am I determining the winner? To assure that it is not tampered with and is 100% completly random, I am personally doing it the old fashioned way. I will personally write every one of your names on a small piece of paper, fold it and place it in a large box. Once it becomes time to determine the winner, the box will be sealed and abruptly shaken, tossed, flipped and mixed to assure that even the names that were originally on the bottom now have equal chances of winning. I will then proceed by dumping the box of names into a pile on the floor, where I will reach deep into the pile and randomly pull out 5 names one by one. That is how the winners of this lotto will be determined. If however you do not like the idea of a person picking your name instead of a machine, well then no problem! That's what this lotto is all about; choice! If you don't like this lotto's methods, scroll down until you find one you do like!

TICKET PRICE SYSTEM: Now, about the ticket prices, they don't quite work the same way as other lotto's. Now, I realize that, it is hard to predict the outcome of a lotto when it is weeks away from the drawing, just as much as it is easier to predict when you know how many slots are filled. So why should anyone buy tickets ahead of time when they can wait ti'll the last minute in order to see their chances? Well I'll tell you why. It's because the sooner you buy your tickets, the less they will cost! That's right, tickets will be extremely cheap to begin, but as time goes on, the price will rise. During the first hour and the first hour only on day 1 of this lotto, the ticket price will be only 1 gold! It will then move up to 10 Gold where it will be for a number of hours. Finally it will move up to 20 Gold where it will remain for the rest of ther day before it changes again. Making day one the cheapest day to buy tickets. Now, because of it's initial cheap price, the price will have a steady incline over the first couple days, but as it gets to a more reasonable price it will slow to a lesser incline, and finally, once the price reaches above average amounts, the incline will slow to a crawl. I realise that some people may only discover the lotto later on, and it's because of that that once the ticket price gets high, on certain days for an hour or 2 at a time, the price will drop dramatically, but this wont happen often so keep an eye out for those key moments that will come without warning. The current ticket price will always be listed on the first page, and if you send a trade before I change the price, but I only open and recieve it after I changed the price, you will still only be charged the amount the tickets cost when you sent the trade. If you have any further questions regarding the tickets and their prices, please PM me. I will NOT be held responsible if you misinterpreted something and neglected to ask for more details. I don't give refunds for tickets, so read before you buy.

In the same manner of which I host other peoples lottos (see above) I am willing to host other peoples sales and auctions too! Like in the lotto hosting, I do require 5% of whatever you make while selling and/or auctioning something on my thread. Well I always thought this would be a very important post, but now that I got around to making it I can't figure out what to say. Well I guess I'll start by telling you why I feel you should chose my lotto over others.



Of course there are other reasons, but those are the general ones and I don't want to bored you too long in trying to pursuade you to come to my lotto, because in reality I'm not trying to pursuade you, I'm trying to give you the facts about my lotto in order to help you make a better decision. And if you decide another lotto over mine, that's your choice to make.

F.A.Q.


First of all, F.A.Q. is an acronym (Meaning, short form of something, or stands for something.) and it stands for Frequently Asked Questions. A F.A.Q. is usually a list of frequently asked questions compiled with their answers.


Every time I see this question it will be given the same answer. "Read the first page!" You'll notice I did not say first post, I said first page, which means you need to read the entire first page. There is multiple lotto's and each one has a different ticket price, this is why I can't tell you a specific ticket price without knowing what lotto you are refering to. Also, it does say on the first post that if you don't read the entire first page, you are not elegible to enter any lotto or contest and therefor cannot win anything. I do this for safety reasons because I don't want people buying tickets without knowing what they are getting into and then trying to back out. Remember, I offer NO refunds on tickets, so be sure to read everything before you buy some.


The answer is NO! I say this countless times on this page so if you haven't figured it out by now you're too young to be gambling... Or reading for that matter.


Tough luck. You don't read the first page you can't enter any of my contests and/or lottos. If you're too lazy to read the first page then you don't have any business buying lotto tickets. And I better not hear any people complain about how long it takes to read the first page because no matter how slow a reader you are, it still took me 50 times more time to write it all! So you better read it!


Depends, if you are talking about the Primary Bumping contest then it's the person with the most bumps at the end of the contest who wins. I count the bumps myself. People who skip bumps get disqualified. If your bumps aren't numbered they don't count. The contest ends on September the 20th. If you are talking about the other bumping contests then the details might be different for each one. Just read the contests description.


The January Donation Letter offers you either an Emo Bag or a Chain Wallet. You pick one of the two.


Not all Lotto Tickets enter you in the Ticket Lotto. Read the lottos description to see if it enters you in the Ticket Lotto. If it does it should say something along the lines of "Buying Tickets to this Lotto also enters you in the Ticket Lotto."


Well, not that I'm unreasonable, but I don't want to be waiting months after to give you your prize. Everyone has a maximum of 1 month (31 Days) to pick up their prize(s) after the end of the lotto. If that time elapses and nobody claims the prize, it will be declaired nullified and the prize will be donated to a charity.


Because my lotto offers you something you wont find at any others. And that's more choices then you can imagine. If that's not good enough for you, well then look slightly above to see a whole section devoted to the top ten reasons why I think you should pick my lotto.
