Lost marbles only appear for the true believers, the innocent and the young at heart. They are the stories we make up as children, the imaginary friends that befriend them, the hopes and wishes they make, and the magic they see. Many may never see them, but a special few will be not only see them, but allow them to become intricate parts of their lives.
They live in a magical glade that can be stumbled upon from virtually anywhere, but which can not be found on any map and if you ask any of the inhabitants to draw a map for you, each one would be unique.
A few interesting facts have been discovered about the Lost Marbles. Random species sometimes pop up for no reason, it seems, as do mutations. Lost Marbles are able to reproduce. Peewee Marbles do inherit some characteristics from their parents, though it is not always apparent which traits they have inherited. Some traits may even stay hidden for generations, and then pop up unexpectedly.
Species discovered:
are typically shy critters that are somewhat slow to act. They are cautious, but loyal and true, steadfast in their decisions and their love. Tortles embody the wonderment and awe for the magic that exists in the world. The world is so big, and they are so small, but surely if they stay true to their path, they will discover amazing things.
Doggets are loyal and friendly, eager to please and to play. They love activity and are attracted to laughter. If there's a game to be had, there's surely doggets playing. They can make a game out of anything, and enjoy humor. Doggets embody the playfulness and joy of childhood. Anything can be funny if looked at properly.
Kitykats are sweet, but typically haughty critters, who like nothing better than a warm snuggle. They tend to be loners, but do appreciate a good snuggle buddy or two. They are loyal to only a few and don't always offer their friendship beyond their small group of family and friends. They are not the most trusting, but to their true friends, their love has no bounds. Kitykats embody the confidence and self-assuredness of youth, when one truly is invincible.
Wabbits are lighthearted, if a bit jumpy. They forgive and forget as easily as day changes to night, and it is just as much a miracle. They are often accused of being flighty and forgetful, but this is really a result of their ability to give their friendship out so easily, and to accept everyone for who they are. Prejudice is all but unheard of among wabbits. Wabbits embody the resilience and purity of the spirit. They are the first to help heal the world's woes.
Bajars are steadfast friends, though they can be a bit shy, and if startled, become defensive and grumpy. They also tend to fret about problems, and worry about things, whether they be big or little. Because of this, Bajars tend to be planners, and sometimes visionaries, often thinking about the future.Sometimes they may be grumpy just for the sake of being grumpy, but if you can get past their tough exterior, you may find them to be truly warm and caring softies on the inside. Bajars embody the potential of youth. They are an inspiration to others.
Piggies are smart little critters, quick on their hooves. They are able to take advantage of almost any situation, though they do tend to be just a bit over-indulgent on occasion. They, more than any other, have a sweet tooth. Piggies sometimes find themselves drawn towards greediness if they are not careful. It's not that they don't mind sharing, as long as they have had their fill, just that there is so much pleasure in enjoying the tastes and textures of food, that they sometimes forget that there should be limits. They also have a tendency to slip into a stage of sloppiness now and again. Piggies embody the awe of discovery. The world is just so full of amazing and wonderful experiences.

Liyuns are brave and bold critters, defenders of the weak and small. They are proud, if a bit arrogant. They are bold, though sometimes a bit bossy. They believe in themselves and those around them and are strong supporters, bolstering one's belief in themselves and their abilities. They are the first to cheer -- for anybody and everybody. They often make great leaders. Liyuns embody the strength of youth. Have no fear when Liyuns are near.
Burdies are doers, active critters who enjoy being a part of things. They are often in the middle of activity, and usually the force that keeps the ball rolling, the wind that blows the leaves. They can go stir-crazy if left with nothing to do. They are explorers, seekers, and players. They make great team members, and are great at focusing on the goal. While they may not be the one to figure out exactly what must be done to get to the goal, once that is figured out, they are on the front lines, doing the 'go getting'. Burdies embody the exuberance and energy of youth. Because getting in there and getting your claws dirty is half the fun.

Eekers are secretive little creatures, though usually much to kindly and soft-hearted to ever use the secrets they gather against others. They are gatherers. Gatherers of shiny objects, pretty things, secrets, experiences, memories... anything that can be collected. They enjoy using the things they've gathered to entertain others with, making up stories about how this was found or how that was rescued, or what magic lies within some object. Eekers embody the creativity and imagination of youth.
