16 kidnappings.
16 kidnappings.
Completely unrelated victims, no sign of life, and no ransom. All that would be left at the scene of the crime was a picture of the person right before being 'kidnapped'. They all seemed to be posing for the camera.
The last kidnapping was of an 11-year-old boy. This kidnapping was different than the rest. A close childhood friend of the boy had seen the kidnapping although her details seemed strange. Her report stated that a cloaked figure had taken the boy's photo and almost as soon as the picture was taken, the boy started to disappear. The cloaked figure also disappeared only staying long enough to leave not only the photo but a necklace behind for the girl. Because of her distraut, the police allowed her to keep the remaining photo and necklace.
Five years later, the girl had grown up with only vague memories of the boy. Through the time, the girl had been having strange dreams of the boy but in a different world. Now, strange things have started happening all around the city. Monsters have been appearing, looking for the "princess of the sun" as they say. And for some reason, all these occurrences happen close to the girl. What will happen? Something strange for sure but what? and why is this happening?
Setting
This is the story of the girl, the princess of the sun, a powerful being. Although she may not know it, she holds a great power and isn't from earth but a different dimension. Her protectors are chosen for both thier skill and will to keep her safe. One is 'knight of the sun' , who is said to be picked by the princess herself as her closest of campanions.
This is set in Tokyo so if you want to join this rp and you do not know much about japanese culture, look it up or ask me for help. I'm very willing. Also, keep in mind that the princess and some of her gaurdians are likely to be in the japanese school system. The same applies for this as the culture.
For information about wanting to by a protector, please contact me first as there is some information you should know before configuring your character. Also, villians are mostly needed. Obviously after the princess's power but you can have toher motives like a grudge.

History: Suffering amnesia since she was small, she didn't realize that she was different from other people until she entered herself in a school, where during an assembly she snapped her fingers and the lightning of the school blew out and caused a blackout. And on a few more occasions, she's caused blackouts of the city. Her magic is her own, and she can control it it her emotions are in check. Other than that, when she's scared or angry her lightning lashes out at anyone and anything. For the most part, she keeps her emotions in check, because she's been called a freak and a monster so many times it made her sick. The only proof that she is the Princess is that she has magical powers and her sword (see her magical form). Her amnesia is the only thing that hides her from the truth of who she is. The only thing keeping her from what she really is.
Pet: A weasel named Sickle. Her untapped ability to morph allows her to communicate with the weasel in her dreams.

History: Raised as a child living in a wealthy home with her every whim met. She was a happy, spoiled child until a dark figure raided their home and unreluctantly killed every person in the house. There, in a dark small room, he opened the sliding doors to find the small child huddled over her feline companion who had been also deceased, her kimono smeared with crimson blood. He decided to spare the child, but not before drinking his fill. She woke up several days later, finding she wasn't able to stand the daylight as well as she used to, and began to journey somewhere to find help. Along the way, she heard rumors of the sun princess with amazing powers....as the years passed, she's been training herself to find and capture the Princess to lift this curse. Even if it means killing her.
Pet: She may have a white-speckled black cat drifting around her, which she named Miko.

Worst Quality: Osuzu, partly due to her life, tends to have a great deal of mistrust for people.
Magical specailty: Hypnotism or persuassion, mostly channeled through her shamisen, Osuzu dosen't realize this, but this is one of the reasons she earns so much money from her busking, other than her musical skills.
Weapon: Osuzu uses her fists as weapons, but occasionally will use her shamisen, which, no matter how battered it gets, never seems to get a scratch. Her shamisen is very old, it's strings are made from silk, her bachi is made of tortoise shell, the dō of dog's skin, all other parts of the shamisen are made of wood which strangely never rots.
Likes: Traditional music, traditional instruments, such as biwa's, shamisens, etc.. and Hong Kong kung-fu movies.
Dislikes: People who stiff her for money, sickness, and yakuza.
Favorite Food: Hayashi Rice, Kamameshi Rice, Udon, Yaki Udon, Somen, Takoyaki, Yakitori, Congee, Kalamari, Korean BBQ, Soda, and Fish and Chips.

The one thing Osuzu wants most is to fall in love, to be swept off of her feet, yet she thinks that this is a lie, romance is just a figment of her imagination that she can only wish for.
History: From a young age, Osuzu has played the shamisen, always encouraged by her mother, who never pushed, but gently boosted. She was a bright girl, answering many questions in class, bust excelling in math and history. Her academic life was shortly cut off at the age of thirteen when her parents died and she went to live with her uncle, who took her out of school so she could help in the store he owned, it wasn't that he was a bad man it was that he couldn't afford to put her in school and needed the help badly. Personality:
He's kind, loyal, and couragous when needed. But, he has a little bit of a temper and doesn't ever like to be wrong. He's also really out-going and not one to hold his tounge. If he has a problem with you, he'll let you know right away. Ah, being honest isn't always good. Being kind of thick and a little stupid also doesn't help.
History:
At age 11, he was found in the middle of the woods by an old dragon. He had no memory of anything. Instead of eating the child, the dragon decided to keep the child and raise him. He name him Kazuhiko or 'harmonious prince' because of the strange flame tattoo on the boys neck. black and red flames working together harmoniously. The dragon raised, loved, and taught magic and sword-fighting to the young Kazuhiko. He also had his only freind, a more subserviant dragon by the name of Ryuu (see below). Soon, five years had past and Kazuhiko, because of his skill, was chosen as a protector. As a last gift, the old dragon gave him the beautiful sword Hi to fight with. Now, he goes to help the princess of the sun on earth. (below is spoiler info about Kazu. It is in white and small font so don't read unless you really want to know.)Kazuhiko's real name is Taki Miniko. He is the last victim and old freind of the princess. He lost his memories, them being wiped by the mysterious person as he was transported. His memory will probably not return. His personality has always been the same though and he looks pretty much the same except some of his hair is dyed white by ash and dragon scales.
Pet:
Ryuu the shadow dragon. A gift from his care-taker, Ryuu is not just a normal dragon. Only as large as a dog usually, Ryuu is more like a pet than a beast. He can grown on command to the size of a horse as well as the size of a rabbit. He is good for carrying goods, people, and a speedy get-away.
