I would like to make a few notes regarding the nature of our guild. Please ensure that you read this carefully:
~ We are not a Wiccan guild.
We are a guild of mainly Traditional Witches and general Witches who may or may not necessarely follow the Wiccan laws or codes of ethics. This means we may not follow the Wiccan Rede or law of "harm none", nor may we believe in the Three Fold Law of return. Many of us have our own beliefs and morals regarding ethical conduct.
As such, some Wiccans and other Wiccan influenced people may find the contents disagreeable.
~ Regarding Toxins and Intoxicants
One subject that appears frequently in Trad Craft discussion is one regarding spiritual/religious uses of certain herbs and plants to induce trance states.
Members are encouraged NOT to try experimenting with such substances based on the information and advice given in the guild, as wrong dosages of certain plants can be poisonous, and in some cases lethal. Potentially lethal toxins are never discussed in the guild in anything other than theoretical terms and are not advokated for use. Ever.
This guild also in no way endorses the use of illegal substances, although the subject may be discussed by both experienced and non-experienced persons on the basis of spiritual use.
All herbs and plants should be used under proffesional advice only. If you are unsure about anything, please consult your doctor. Remember that almost all herbs and plants used for such purposes can have adverse physical effects, including bodily pain, sickness, fainting, coma, and death, to name a few.
