The Legion: A group run by Kadaj and his gang. Their goal is to kill the keybearer and take over the universe. Naturally. They used to be in close competition with the Rebellion, until Ren began to suffer sue to his lack of a full heart. Now, they can for the most part kill any Rebellion members easily. Despite this, Kadaj would like to make a show of killing Ren, just to capitalize the fact that they are the stronger group. But Ren proves to be a hard person to track down.

The Rebellion: A mysterious group led by Ren. No one is really sure what their goal is. They used to appear very often to stop the Legion’s attacks. Though they have also done cruel things, such as destroying worlds almost randomly. They have generally stopped appearing since Ren began to weaken, but one will show up every now and then.

Bio: Sora's Parallel. Sion is best friends with Kale and Milune. He is also Sora’s Parallel. He was confronted by Ren at the island, and offered a trade. Milune’s heart back, for Kale’s. When the island was destroyed, her and the still-unconscious Milune appeared in Backwards Town. He wants to find a way to regain Milune’s heart without having to kill Kale, but he can’t even find him! And there’s the bigger problem of the weird ant thingies that keep attacking him. What’s a kid to do?

Personality: Kind, caring, a little bossy, daring, happy, sweet,
Bio: Kairi’s Parallel. Sion and Kale’s best friend. She always lived with them on the island, unlike Kairi, and is very fond of sparring with her friends. She’s not as good at it as Sion and Kale, but she’s not bad either. When the island was destroyed, she was in the old shack, reading a strange new book she’d found there entitled “Kingdom Hearts.” The book disappeared when Ren opened the door to the shack. He took her heart, and since then, she’s been out cold.

Weapon: Formally a wooded stick, but has recently discovered an odd blade that seems to be made from dark energy.

Personality: To the point, kind, sarcastic, blunt, friendly, loyal,
Bio: Riku's Parallel. Kale has the other half of Ren’s heart. He is unaware of this however, and doesn’t seem to be suffering any of the fatigue that Ren is getting. He is best friends with Sion and Milune, and was on his way to find them on the day the island was destroyed when he ran into Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz, who were looking for the keybearer. He heard one of them say something about “Kingdom Hearts”. This made him curious and he refused to let them pass. He was outnumbered however, and defeated. Kale was persistent, and followed them to their world despite his injuries. Thanks to a bullet from Yazoo, he was knocked unconscious and locked into one of the cells in the Legion’s home base. Kadaj has since then been trying to persuade him to join the Legion, and the longer he stays there, the more he seems to forget about Sion and Milune. Who knows, he might actually join. The darkness has started to really interest him…

Bio: Ren is the leader of the Rebellion. He has only half a heart, and recently found out that the other half was inside Kale. At around the time he realized this, he began to weaken. In an attempt to get the other half of his heart from Kale, he went to his island. Unfortunately, the island was already being destroyed at the time by the Legion in search of the keybearer. He did however, find Milune. He took her heart, and offered to give it back to Sion in exchange for the other half of his own heart from Kale.

Bio: Aurume is Namine’s Parallel. But nobodies aren’t supposed to have a Parallel, so she figures there’s something wrong with her. She has been the Rebellion’s spy since she was born, and was recently assigned to stick with Sion and wait for him to make a decision about Kale’s heart. Or rather, make sure he made the decision Ren wanted. Despite this, she is a generally sweet girl. She knows a lot about other worlds.
