This is a journal for Seirae to use as he coaxes his Fenthry out of its feather and has lots of fun adventures with it.

Please don't post here unless Seirae has given you permission!

Keydin
The little green and white feather suddenly stands straight up, and almost as though the tip were pulled by a magnet, it begins to float dreamily toward the ceiling. The feather's tip just barely brushes the ceiling before it begins to spin rapidly, lancing down toward the ground. A bright flash lights the room...and it is a four-inch tall child that lands gently on the floor. Keydin has a bright personality, like the spring melting away the snows of winter. Even his coat seems to suggest just that event: the coming of a new spring, and a new life.

All about the proud father who is really a woman but I won't get into that... ANYhoo... @__@;;; (Picceh coming soon)

Full Name: Seirae Sakumasato
Age: 18 years
Likes: All kinds of music (specifically rock (the new ‘n the old)), sweet stuff, pina coladas, baking, sleeping, among other things…
Dislikes: Politics! … That’s about it. Oh, and mean people o__0

Seirae has a relatively calm, B-type personality – he is certainly not one to get stressed out easily, taking life at his own pace and not particularly worried about the future nor the past.
Up to now he’s lived quite a normal Gaian life, and there is nothing really marking from his past. Currently he lives in an ex - sugar shack (though he’s still able to make maple syrup and does so on rare occasions), and spends most of his time either caring for his many pets and companions, baking, practicing his various artistic skills or…. Procrastinating – his specialty.

… More to come? … Meh, I dunno.

Who Keydin has met, and what he thinks of them... (Might just change it to friends if it gets too crowded sweatdrop )

User Image
Keydin had only met Skyfire very briefly, but she was the first fenthry he ever had an encounter with so I decided to put her up. She seems pretty friendly, and seems to be reason for Key's first proper pronounciation of his name.

User Image
Kure is another one of the first fenthries Keydin met. She's nice to everyone she meets, and Key really likes playing with her when she's not busy with other things (such as her Sparieh friend, Kaen ^^).

User Image
Ieta's one of the Canada-themed fenthry twins, and is a lot of fun. Key absolutely adores hanging out with her, since she enjoys such games as imaginary battles and other pretend-type fun.

User Image
Kagei's another fenthry I think Keydin only met once, but he shared the same love (maybe not quite as much XP) for pirates as Key, so they got along quite well. They even agreed to became pirate-mates! ^__^

User Image
Raidon's pretty shy, and when Keydin got a chance to talk to him he was a little afraid of my pirate fenthry at first. They both like PotC, so, finding a common ground, that ended up being a friendly encounter. Rai's usually hanging around Rioko, who seems to be his rolemodel.

User Image
Keydin originally mistook Lilia for an evil plant monster o__0 She's one of the most energetic fenthries he's met as of yet, and, though she stuck out her tongue at him when they first truly met, I think Key enjoys her company...

User Image

The other pets/companions Keydin lives with.

User Image - Ruyen. He's rather moody and somber, and generally doesn't spend much time at the shack. I don't think Key is too keen on him... He tends to stay away from him most of the time.

User Image - Senichi is pretty much the opposite of Ruyen. Happy, go-lucky, and seemingly pretty naive when it comes to most things. Keydin seems to enjoy having him around, since he's pretty much a grown-up kid.

User Image - I just recently adopted Levi, and at first Keydin thought the little koshielf toddler was kind of boring. Now that he feels more at home, I think they're finally starting to enjoy each other's company, though.

((Seirae does have other pets - they just don't live in the same house. More to come, anyway! ^__^))
One more for good luck... or something.
And now for the set up... Err... well, I'll -start- setting up anyway @__@ *so tired* z__z
July 4th - 11:45 p.m.

Well, I just got back from the Fenthry Preservation Society, and I brought home a new friend with me! Ah, he's only a feather now, but a gorgeous one. Unfortunately I am unable to introduce him to the rest of my companions, as they are all asleep ... Which is what I should be doing, actually, but I just couldn't go to bed without writing a first entry.
It had been a while since I had taken interest in the Fenthries, and only a couple of days ago had I actually visited the place and talked to a few of the people there. Not only were the feathers on display absolutely stunning, but everyone around seemed so nice! It was such a lovely atmosphere. And Louhi, the shopowner, who I met only today, was kind enough to let me adopt Keydin, a green-themed feather. My heart is still pounding with excitement... Or maybe that's just because I ran home... I dunno. But I'm still so happy! I think I'll place him on my second pillow tonight - thank goodness I'm not a toss-n-turn sleeper.

Hmm, well, I guess that's it for tonight... Good night! >^.^<

July 5th - 3:00 p.m.

Wow, my first day as a Fenthry owner is already over halfway done! Though, I can't say the morning passed quickly... Unfortunately I had to go to my summer school class, and even though I had brought Keydin with me (Though I had attached him to a string necklace, I still got quite a few strange glances from many of my peers - of course they couldn't understand why I'd be carrying a feather around my neck...) the minutes seemed to tick on forever. I suppose the fact that I could've been spending personal time with my Fenthry also added to the effect, as my thoughts kept venturing towards ideas of what I could do to make Keydin feel more comfortable in my home when he finally did decide to jump out of the feather. Oh yes, and that reminds me... Most of my other pets were still asleep when I left this morning, however I did run into Senichi, who is always up and about at ungodly hours, on my way out. He definitely seemed to take a liking to the little feather, and was really happy about having someone else around the house besides Ruyen - who he claims is a stuck-up little b*****d at times. Ahh, Ruyen... I'm curious to know what his thoughts on the feather will be, since most of the time he seems quite caring (... once you unveil the gloomy mask he always wears).

Anyway, besides that... I didn't really get a chance to do much with Keydin today. Of course, being a feather there are limited things one can do with him... sweatdrop I think I'll take the time to pop by the Preservation Society later on, though. I'd love to see how all the other owners, along with their Fenthries, are doing!

I hope to write more soon!

July 5th - 11:45 p.m.

My first day with Keydin has nearly come to a close. Unfortunately I only got to visit the Preservation Society once, and for a short amount of time, but hopefully in these next days I'll be able to go more often - as well as longer. I did get to talk to a few other owners, though... Including Cubi, who adopted the beautiful raven-like female feather. I'm really curious to see how -she's- going to turn out. Of course, I'm most looking forward to Keydin's entrance into the world. I wonder whether his personality'll lean towards the shy side, or if he'll be loudmouthed and exuberant... I heard that light-colored Fenthry are generally more timid, but compared to some other feathers I've seen Keydin doesn't -really- fall into that category, though he most certainly isn't bright either. I guess I'll find out! Oh, yes, and I finally caught up with Ruyen today - I think he was in one of his gloomy moods (I think he's in one of his gloomy moods all the time...) because all he did was nod and walk off, mumbling something under his breath. I bet it's because he's been away from his love for too long... Heh.

Anyhoo, I've got to be off, and unfortunately I don't have much spare time tomorrow, though I'll try to squeeze some time in for an entry...

July 7th - 6:15 p.m.

Oh mon dieu! Something awfully scary - though also somewhat exciting - happened today. Keydin got kidnapped! Well, actually, he didn't really get kidnapped... But a crow tried to steal him from me. It happened when I was taking a walk in the woods behind my house. It was such a beautiful day I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to enjoy a leisurely hike along the many paths. Anyway, I was holding the feather in my hand, and I guess that silly bird was attracted to the colors or something because as soon as I looked behind me to see if anyone was around (I thought I heard a noise) it swooped down and grabbed Keydin right from me! I think I nearly had a stroke when I felt the thing pull him away from my grasp - to think he could've been taken from me forever! I would not be able to live with myself. I chased that damned crow all through the forest, and luckily it dropped him not too long after... I swear it took Keydin just to play a joke on me. Cruel birds, those crows are. Thank God it didn't decide to re-enact a scene from 'The Birds'... Scary, scary stuff. Yeah, so, after that I rushed the feather home, fearful that the other birds might get the same idea. Luckily the only thing that I noticed was that there was a little bit of dirt on Keydin, nothing too serious. Maybe next time I'll attach him to my necklace instead of holding him... Or just pay more attention. Ahh, I hope he forgives me after this incident.

July 8th - 11:10 p.m.

Can't say much happened today. I was rather busy (once again) so I didn't have much free time. I -did- however, watch Secret Window with Keydin... Probably not the best choice of movie to watch with him, as it was, in a way, a horror type... I could almost feel the feather shivering at some points during the film, so I decided that it was best if I continued without him and placed him in the next room so I could keep an eye on him. Anyway, not much else to say, and I need to get my sleep now, so I'll write more tomorrow!

... I wonder if Keydin would like any of the movies I own...
