*~*~*Ritter's Dream Avi Contest*~*~*

Welcome to Ritter's Dream Avi Contest! It's simple ^^ Just go on www.Tektek.org and create a Dream Avi. Then simply simply send me a PM (Post Message) telling me that you would like to join. Send a "Trade" (You must have a trading pass ^^) with the cost of entering. The price is pretty low so that all gaians can participate. This is to help Gaians with their Dream Avi. There will be 5 contestants each time. If you win, you will recieve 2,000 gold! ^^ It may not seem like much, but it will sure help give some gaians a boost. PLEASE READ ALL RULES. You may also contact Ritters_Dream_Avi_Contest ^^ Please check out that profile for Updates and so on.

Cost: 500 Gold

Prize: 2000 Gold (Or possibly more depending on donations and possibly other entrys)

# of Contestant: 5 (Or more, if needed. Which means that the prize money could go up ^^)

Voting: You will have a number and on the day of voting, your number will be placed in the "Poll" in which people can come and look at your Dream Avi and choose which one they like most ^^

I will take 5 (Or possibly more) contestants and then let voting begin. Voting will last for two days ^^ You may ask friends to vote

One entry per person

You MAY enter your current avi ^^ Even accomplished dreams still deserve something! ^^

If you enter and trade the money but never give me a Dream avi (and I havent been able to contact you) I'll use your avi, just to warn you ^^ We won't resort to this until its been TOO long ^^

If you want to advertise something, you may pay 1500 gold that will go towards the forum, and have your advertisment put at the bottom of this post! I may eventually take it off after a few weeks though (Maybe 3, it could be on forever)

Rules

1. Please do NOT stretch the page
2. Use appropriate language
3. Use correct grammar and sentence structure
4. I may change rules
5. Donations are appreciated and will be used in prize (So prize money can go up)
6. Be polite and kind to other contestants
7. Be patient
8. You may vote for yourself
9. Follow the Gaia TOS
10. Have fun ans Chat! ^^
11. If a tie occurs, I may choose the winner ^^
12. Once you have entered, you may NOT back out of the competition
13. Be respectful to ALL staff members. They have the right to tell you to leave or tell me to add you to my Black List. All staff members were/are chosen for good behavior and commitment to the forum. I may choose anyone I like or let go of any I would like also ^^
14. NO advertising please or you will be Black listed ^^ Only if you pay to have it on this post! (Money goes to prize money)

Commonly Asked Questions ^^ (Don't be afraid to ask me questions! ^^)

Question: If I don't stay, will that affect my chances at winning?
Answer: No! You could not bump once and still win ^^ Although I would appreciate at least one bump...please? ^^ lol

Question: I don't understand the time you told me?
Answer: I know T-T I commonly forget that time is different in all different places, Im sorry T-T Bascially, I'll send a letter when it starts, usually like 30 minutes before it does, then just estimate exactly two days from the time it starts and thats the starting and ending of the competition ^^ ( I live on the East coast of the US, just to let you know ^^ lol)

Question: Can I use my current Avi or does it have to be an actual Dream Avi?
Answer: Feel free to use your current avi ^^ I have no problem with it at all! ^^

Question: What name goes with what Avi?
Answer: The name right above the Avi shown is the one that goes with it ^^

Question: I need time to get the gold, would you hold a spot?
Answer: Of course I will! If you want to join that contest, then I'll make sure you do!

Question: Why is voting so long?
Answer: Because I want to give everyone a fair chance at getting votes ^^

Question: what are the Avi's being judged on?
Answer: Basically appearance, creativity, and originality

Question: How can I be a Staff member?
Answer: Well, I want people who will stay, answer questions, be nice, and arent afraid to tell someone breaking the rules to leave. I'm looking for trustworthy people who I could consider a friend ^^

Question: why would I want to advertise in your forum?
Answer: Because it helps others accomplish their Dream Avi and also helps your thread! (Or whatever your advertising...lol ^^)

Question: Another contestant said something really rude/mean to mean that involved cursing, can you take them out of the competition?
Answer: Alright, here's the tough part. I don't really want to have to take someone out of the competition. If you send me proof then i'll either consider it or give them a warning. If it continues, I will have to take them out. Please though, try not to fight. If you think there's a problem or something could lead to conflict, please contact me so no one will be eliminated, thank you ^^

Question: Why did someone from Contest (?) win more than I did?
Answer: The regular prize for having 5 contestants and no donations is 200 gold. If more than 5 people ask to join the same contest then I'll glady let them. If there's six people that join, then the prize will will 2500. If someone in a Contes t donates, I'll add it to their contest, but if it's someone not involved, then I'll add it to the most current one that hasn't started already ^^

Question: How do I know this isn't a scam?
Answer: *Sigh* Please ask past contestants or even my staff if you don't believe me. This forum is seriously to help people out, whether they have a lot of money or they're just starting out. I've always liked helping people and meeting new friends, so I figured this was the perfect way! ^^

Question: I gave you (Dream Avi pic, Gold, etc) and you never added my name to the next contest?
Answer: You may not have givin me everything I needed. If its too late to add you to the contest you were supposed to join by then, then I'll add you to the next. Please remember to give me everything in time at least ^^

This will be saved for a possible future "Staff Member of the Month" award. A staff member will be chosen for doing the best of all staff members and will be rewarded with gold. It has not been decided if it will be staff member of the month or what. This will only happen if the forum picks up ^^

Bump Contest!

If you Bump 150 times on this thread, you will recieve a prize/gold. The bumps must be numbered and if you finish tell me where you started and ended. Bumpers will be listed ^^ The prize hasn't been determined yet
