Omg! It's Ame's first attempt selling art!

First, some ground rules!

- Be nice, alright?! This is my first time opening a shop of any kind, so pardon in advance any noobish behavior I might exhibit, but please don’t criticize me for it.
- Be helpful! Since this is my first time, I’ll try to listen to suggestions or tips anyone may have for me.
- Keep it better than PG-13, please?
- That means no excessive cursing. I like friendly people better.
- Literate people are fun! No txt tlk.
- Be polite to me as an artist, okay? I don’t want anyone flaming my art.
- Staying and chatting would be COOL.
- Asking for art and running off would be UNCOOL.
- I reserve the right to decline requests for avatars that are too cluttered/difficult. Please don't be rude to me if I decline.

Prices and Paying!

As of now, I’m only doing those types of black-and-white traditional art up there in the samples (I also only do singles, no couple art*). Prices are subject to change! (Of course if you order and I raise the price, your order will still be the cheaper price from the time you ordered. I'm not cheating anybody into paying more. XD)
*I'm actually willing to do couple arts in my odd-shaped style. If you're looking for couple art, I have to warn you that I only do cute things full of hugs. XD An extra 2k is tacked onto the price to pay for the second avatar.

Paying!

Once an order is placed, send a trade to this account with the proper amount of money. When I’ve finished the art, I’ll send you a watermarked version via PM so you know I did the work*. I’ll accept the trade, and as soon as I get the payment I’ll send you a normal version. ^^ This way everyone avoids scamming.

*of course that step can always be left out. It's just a precaution for the buyer. If you don't think it's necessary, just say so. ^^
I’m always willing to knock off a couple hundred gold if something comes up that gets in the way of the transaction.

Ordering!

I’d prefer any orders to be sent by PM so I’m alerted of them. Specify whether you want a headshot, waist-up, etc., specify the avatar (provide a picture, please, if you don’t want your own avatar to be done) and if you’d like the avatar to be showing a specific expression. As of now I’m not allowing people to pick between options for poses, but if you really want something specific, if it’s simple, I’ll probably be willing. No special order form, though. XD I don’t think there’s enough things you need to specify for me to have to make a form, but if anyone thinks it would help me out particularly, mention it to me.

- I'm still alive! Any orders will still be accepted, though. I'm just incredibly inactive because my style has started to go through a lot of changes again, so I feel uncomfortable managing an art shop. When my style gets more defined again, I'll probably set up shop somewhere else. ;3
'Occupied' doesn't mean I can't take orders... just means I probably can't do the art.
I won't always be able to let you know when I'm busy, so bear with me if I disappear suddenly. Things happen. My computer might spontaniously combust and that won't exactly allow me to warn anyone. XD

Suggestions on how to improve my shop would be wonderful. This is really only a temporary thing unless I decide it goes well, in which case I’ll continue. ^^

I reserve the right to refuse to draw avatars that are way too cluttered or challenging for me (I think my art is worth selling, but I’m not at a high enough level that I can do everything). There are some specific items I won’t draw like some masks, hats, and other general clothing, especially if the details are hard for me to make out. I also refuse to draw most avatars in skimpy outfits. It's distasteful. It’s always good to ask even if you think you’re wearing something I won’t draw, but don't be stubborn if I end up refusing.
