What is a trade-up?
One person starts off with a low-priced item and a hope of obtaining a high-priced item. They do this by trading the starting item for a slightly higher-priced item, then that for a higher still-priced item until they get the item they're questing for.

But why would anyone trade something expensive for something cheap?
It's a matter of relative value. One person might value, for example, a BTK more than a Lunar Cloak despite the latter being more expensive, simply because they like the item more. This has been done to huge success in real life by Kyle MacDonald, who started with one red paperclip and ended with a house!

So what're you looking to trade?
I'm starting with an Enchanted Wooden Trunk (I'm too lazy to update the prices for this one; no-one reads this anyway 8D) and hoping for an Emo Bag (currently priced ~400K). A long way to go, no?
