Upon approach the building looks like a nice home, verging on mansion. Redwood walls sit under black tiled roofing, a small porch is lined with huge Greeco-Roman marble columns. All the windows have their shades down and reveal nothing of interior. The big black doors have the word "Loki's" slopped on in blood red paint. Behind the doors the building changes from a nice home to a nice bar. Redwood furniture includes chairs, tables, barstools and sofas. Some tables have a metallic pole rising from their center to the buildings high ceilings. Along the far wall a bar has been built between two huge staircases, a marble counter top precedes a wall of alcohol. Up either of the staircases you find a small area devoted to relaxation. A large, heart shaped, hot tub sits in the center with a two-foot tall statue of Dionysus, the Greek god of wine and celebration, at the point. Around it are couches and beds, each with a button that lowers curtains around the particular spot, including the hot tub.

The underground is the adapted basement of Loki's Place. A small door under the stairs leads down a long set of stairs into an entirely different world. The fine design of the bar above is overtaken by old cement walls and a cold marble floor. The basement is perfectly circular, a forty foot wide arena taking up the vast majority of the room. A small hatch in the walkway around it leads down into the pit which is dropped an extra ten feet with a wall around it. The walkway around the pit is about five feet wide and spectators have a good view of the fights from above. Encompassing the walkway is a wall of eight by five cages, each having a small hole as a toilet and a feed dish. Some hold wild beasts, everything from lions and tigers to bears and elephants which have specially sized cages. Other cages hold malnourished and poorly treated slaves.

Note: No one automatically knows about the underground, you must be shown the underground or have been told about it from someone else so have a story ready.

The Pit:
Gladiators are constantly allowed to fight in the arena. Fighters and spectators are both allowed and encouraged to bet on fights as well as the ranking system I've set up. Every fight requires a judge to be present. Someone to gage each fighter's preformance on a scale of one to ten. The numbers will determine the rank, not the win-loss ratio.

The Slave Trade:
Slaves here are one of three things workers, fighters, or merchandise. Slaves are constantly sold to masters, killed in the arena, and used as laborers for the bar. Laborers are the only ones ever allowed out of their cages when not in use and wear a collar at all times which the guards can use to shock them into immobility. Also if a slave leaves the premis with a collar on they are shocked and an alarm, much like a car alarm, goes off. The slave fighters are little more than gladiator fodder. They are malnourished and beaten regular and are usually pitted against gladiators as a slaughter spectacle. Slaves who are to be sold are rarely beaten they are kept looking nice so they will fetch a nice price.
