Welcome!

Welcome to my pixel doll shop! I'm Porcelain Violet (or just Violet), and this is my minishop where you can get a custom pixel doll of an avatar or OC.

All art in this shop, including bases, was made by me.

Announcement: CLOSED! Sorry, no more time to pixel. *cries*

August 30, 2007- From now on, there are only going to be three slots, not five. This is because since school started, I don't have quite as much time for me to pixel.

August 6, 2007- Open again!

July 27, 2007- I'm going to be gone from July 28 to August 4, so no orders until I get back.

June 28, 2007- We have a male base now! Yay!

June 22, 2007- Added "List of things I absolutely will not do." Be sure to check before ordering!

June 19. 2007- Lowered prices! eek

June 18, 2007- Added Blacklist and Whitelist

June 16, 2007- I will now agree to do any anime/manga/movie characters you want (read "Dolls" post)

Rules

1. Be nice. I mean it.

2. No 1337-speak. Pleeease.

3. Don't steal my dolls- meaning, don't post them anywhere and try to pass them off as your own. Also, please don't take my signature off the bottom of the doll. This should go without saying, but still.

4. Do not PM me questions. If you have a question, post it in the thread and I'll answer there.

5. Do not PM orders to me. They are also to be posted in the thread (read the "How to Order" post).

6. Please remember after you receive your doll to upload it to your own server. I'll be clearing out my photobucket periodically, so be warned. If you forgot to do this, only then can you PM me and I'll upload it for you again.

7. Kindly don't quote any of the first posts.

Dolls

All dolls are done on my own base. Below is a basic picture of what the female and male bases look like. I am aware that the male base is a little bit feminine, but keep in mind that it will look a lot different with proper hair and clothing on.

I will also do original characters, so please fill out the order form appropriately for the character you want a doll made of, including reference pictures.

Prices:
Avatar doll- 2.5k
OC doll- start at 3k, more if it's really detailed
Anime/manga/movie character doll- same as OC

List of things I absolutely will not do:
(Sorry if it's a bit long, but it's mostly donation items)
1. Celebrity date

2. Chain of Command

3. Mythrill Armor

4. Damascus Armor. I despise this one.

5. The forms of Gift of the Goddess that have birds all over. Sorry, but it's just a little bit too much.

6. Spirit Falcon, but I will do it only if it's wings on your avatar's back.

7. Avatars not wearing bottoms. For God's sake, at least put some panties or shorts on or something. Trust me, it'll look a lot better.

8. Wearing all black. This is mostly for your sake. I'd suggest you don't order a doll wearing all black, but I will do one anyways if you ask me to. But it's your fault if you're not satisfied with a vaguely human shaped blob of dark gray pixels because I did warn you.

9. Extremely cluttered avatars. I will decide what defines a "cluttered avatar." If you aren't sure if yours is cluttered or not, fill out the order form, note that you want me to make sure yours isn't too cluttered, and wait for me to approve it before sending the trade.

10. Enchanted strings. This one, I have discovered, is very difficult to do well and I'd really rather not.

How to Order

1) Check to make sure there is a slot open for you. If you want more than one doll, make sure the appropriate number of slots are open.

2) Fill out the order form, found at the bottom of this post. Remember to put reference pictures, or a picture of your avatar. Also, please put on your avi's eye color. It's not necessary, but would be useful to me.

3) After you post the order form in the thread, send me a trade for the appropriate amount of gold.

4) Wait patiently. At this point, I will start working on your doll.

5) After I finish your doll, I will accept the trade and send the doll to you in a PM.

6) Once you receive the doll, finish the trade.

7) Remember to upload the doll to your own server! This means downloading it to your computer, or putting it on your own Photobucket/Imageshack/whatever account.

If you happen to have any questions, post them in the thread and I'll answer them.

Q: Oh noes! I can't see my doll, but I've finished the trade and everything!!!
A: You probably forgot to upload the doll to your own server and I've already deleted it off mine.

Q: Sooo... what should I do if I want it back?
A: If you PM me and ask nicely, I'll upload the doll for you again.

Q: Will you do OCs?
A: Yes, I will. Just make sure you have reference pictures.

Q: Will you do -insert anime/book/movie character here-?
A: Yes, I will! However, I will not do book characters unless you actually draw out a picture of what you want them to look like and give it to me, or something like that. Meaning, I will not go solely on a verbal description, I must have pictures.

Q: *pm's you a question*
A: If you pm me any questions, then you're not getting an answer until you ask it on the thread. All I will do is tell you to go back and read the rules, especially the one about not PMing me questions.

Q: If I have a request for a pixel that you aren't ordinarily selling (not an ordinary doll, but something like a pixel animal/food), would you do it?
A: No, I will not. However, if you seem like a cool person and you ask me really really nicely, I may consider. And bribes are always accepted... *coughs*

Q: How do you make your dolls????
A: I've had this question a couple times. I suggest you go looking around for tutorials, especially around the pixel guilds here on Gaia. And unless I really, really like you, I will not write up a tutorial for you, because I don't have that much time on my hands.

Q: Um, I already posted an order form, but I changed my mind about the avatar I want you to doll. What do I do?
A: If you change your mind, immediately PM me or post in the thread telling me that you have changed your reference picture. If I've already finished the doll based on the first picture, I'm afraid there's not much I can do, but if I haven't started yet, then I will happily do a different avatar/OC instead. But please contact me if you change your mind, as it is rather annoying to finish a doll and discover that the customer doesn't want it anymore.

How to get onto this list: You can probably guess, but I'll tell you anyways. Breaking any of the rules gets you instantly on this list, and yes, I do expect you to read the rules. Being mean for no good reason, or breaking any of the TOS will also get you on here. And remember: I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone on this list. But I really hope there won't be too many people on here.
