The history:
Many years ago the Coven of the Purple Cloak, created and founded by Lord Jhiaxus Galvatronus, rose out of the ashes and held a dominant hold over the many other vampyre covens around. Many races, from Human to Angelic alike, came to join the guild and be a part of it's powerful rule. Though after time, the coven seemed to turn from a sanctuary for those who wish to seek shelter, to a brothel. The Lord of the coven would take his picking of any female who walked through the door and bring them into his bed. Two of the coven found this to not be right, these two were the Lord's own Daughter, Nyssa and Nyssa's brother Taker (Undertaker). These two broke loose from the coven's vile binds and wandered off to create a coven of their own, The Coven of the Red Flames.
Creatures from the former Coven of the Purple cloak seemed to gain an interest in the newly risen coven, and migrated away from the Lord towards the new coven, taking sanctuary there and enjoying themselves. And through this migration from the old coven to the new, Lord GaIvatronus lost influence and slowly lost close to all his power in the realms of the undead. Through his loss, Nyssa and Taker benefited, having a coven that lasted for many years in prosperity and peace. Of course, the occasional Hunter would pop up, but that was a normal occurence for not all believed in the reign of those of the unholy. Through this coven a new army was needed, And as such the Call for the Burning Legions was made.
Descriptions.
First floor.
Main Receiving Hall and Stairwell leading to the higher floors:
Grand, thick oak doors greet you as you walk up towards the entrance of the grand palace. Before you could even move your hands forward to open the doors, a force grabs onto the handles for you and opens the doors, offering you entrance. When stepping inside, you find yourself in a circular room. Four banisters support the main floor from the other floors above. Several paintings decorate the walls, the eyes of the paintings following your every move. To the right of the door was a desk. Sitting at the desk was a receptionist who kindly asks you if you are here for business, pleasure, or if you are looking for a place to stay. After signing in, you are allowed to go wherever you please. Across the room from the receptionist's desk, and in the center of the wall there was a roaring fireplace, the flames dancing with a joyous aura about them, warming the room bringing about a sense of peace and security. In the Right corner of the room rested a large stairwell that lead to the floors above that mainly consisted of bedrooms and private bathrooms. Eleven floors up would be where Nyssa and her brother Taker's room resided, no one is to go up there unless given permission from either of the two. Since most creatures of the night prefer to avoid sunlight at all costs, all the windows in the rooms are covered by thick, heavy curtains as to make sure no light will pass through during the day. There would be three doors leading out from the Receiving all, one to your left, one to your right, and one directly in front of you. The door to the right held a sign warning you to not enter unless you were given specific permission from Nyssa herself.
The door to the left leads to the training area. The door to your right leads you to the Counsel room where the head members of the Coven would meet to discuss matters of importance. And the door directly in front of you leads to the main bar/lounge area where you would meet most of the other people who came to take shelter from the world around them.
Training Area:
As you pass through another set of heavy, thick oak doors, you come to a well-lit room. The floor is padded and a sign to the left of you directs you to take your shoes off. Before you are a row of doors leading to individual training rooms, while the room you are currently in allows for a group trainings if desired. Off to the right, there is another door, leading to the locker rooms and the showers, giving you the option of showering off before returning to the others in the lounge or bar areas.
The Bar And the Kitchen:
Passing through yet another set of heavy, thick oak doors, you enter a dimly lit room. Tables and chairs positioned neatly around the room. Far wall, in the center, directly across from the bar, is an entertainment stage for bands, singers, comedians, etc to come and show their stuff if ever wanting to or if ever invited. At the bar there is an array of different drinks, from pure blood all the way down all the alcoholic beverages imaginable, along with juices, teas, and coffees. To the right of the bar, is a door that leads to the well- lit kitchen. Within the Kitchen is up-to-date cooking supplies and a variety of different food stuffs from American to New Zealand food and everything in between. Pots and pans hang from racks that are positioned over the kitchen islands for the uses of the cooks.
The lounge:
To the left of the bar would lay another door. Walking through this door would bring you to the lounge. The lounge was a dimly lit room, soft music playing from a jukebox in the corner of the room while couches, sofas, and armchairs would be. Laying up against one of the walls would be another roaring fireplace, the flames dancing within the hearth and radiating heat into the room to keep it warm during the cold winter months. Off in the right-hand corner of the room is yet another door. Stepping through it, you would find yourself in a large room, a chandelier hung over a piano which glistened in the light. Around the edges of the room were chairs and tables that could accomodate groups of four. Sitting atop the piano would be a little card, reading off "Do not touch". This piano would be Nyssa's and, as she is with all her instruments, she's protective of it.
When stepping back into the lounge, you find yourself directly parallel to another door, off in the left-hand corner of the room, this would lead to the library.
The Library:
When stepping through the doors from the lounge, you find yourself within a large, high-ceilinged room. Rows and rows of shelves filled with books from literature and history, all the way along the genres of reading to fiction. Wall to wall, top to bottom, this room would be full of books. There even is a second and third floor which are accessable by staircase. Chairs, tables, lamps, and all sorts of different sources of comforts are available for your use, as well as computers for email checking and leisure activities.
Higher Floors:
As state above, floors two through eleven are bedrooms and private bathrooms for the comfort of those who dwell within the coven. Upon the eleventh floor reside the rooms of Nyssa and Undertaker. If anyone wishes to go up into these rooms, they must first receive permission from the two or punishment will be brought out upon them.
Outside:
Though the coven is grand, and holds many things to keep one occupied, it also has a wonderful garden out back and in front of the coven, behind the tall cement walls. Small pathways lead through the patches of flowers and trees that encompass the main palace. In the middle of the main garden in front lay a small pond, that is supported by a stream and that lets water go through another stream that flows on through to the great river that lay just west of the Coven. Benches litter the gardens, giving lovers a romantic place to sit and watch the stars on cool autumn and spring nights, and warm summer evenings. Also near the center of the garden lies a large fountain, carved to look like an angel holding onto an urn that continuously spills water down over the marble. Trees encircle the coven, making it look like a winter wonderland in the colder months when snow dominates the terrain. Out back there are many trails leading through the forest, branching out throughout the entire wilderness that goes on until reaching the cliff that overlooks the ocean.
