WELCOME MONEY GAMERS!
TO HUGEL'S 3rd GAME WITH A NEW CONCEPT!
50/50!

-Until recently I held raffle threads with items as prizes. But since I usually hold more than one raffle thread, here and in a guild I found it hard. But...not to worry I found another game to play which is (I hope) fast easy and will have lots of winners and participants. The game is called 50/50, you may have heard of it when attending Chinese Auctions, below are the general rules and below this post are the general rules for my variant, please carefully read as some may have changed from the orginal raffle thread rules.

IS A GAME OF CHANCE WHERE MANY LOW-PRICED TICKETS ARE SOLD AND ONE WINNER IS CHOSEN vs. LOTTO (a game of chance where tickets are sold and several winners may be chosen; but winners are NOT gaurenteed-thus the idea of a jackpot)

RULES FOR THREAD

exclaim Tickets will be sold on a prenumbered system.
exclaim Price will be 2 gold and you may chose tickets only to the limit I designate.
exclaim Mules are not allowed, if I suspect I have the right to cancel.
exclaim Numbers may be refunded, you must tell me personally why and for what reason.
exclaim In the event a mule was entered, the main account may NOT ask for a refund, but the MULE must ask for it back personally and personally open trade.
exclaim If in anyway you distrupt the thread in a negative way I reserve the right to ban you.
exclaim Number will be chosen by the Gaia random number generator right here in the thread.
exclaim Bump
exclaim Have a grand ol' time.
exclaim Once a the raffle is over, a new one will take it's place.
exclaim Advertising is fine, just no page stretching. 3nodding

~Settings and How To Play~

- The game will start with a prize of 2,000 gold.

- With each number sequenced entry (2 gold=2 numbers) one gold is added to the total prize: think of it as a buy one get one free
eg. initial gold: 2000 gold arrow entry: 500 gold arrow final gold:2250 gold arrow numbers obtained: 500:=paid numbers: 250

-I will accept entries until the end number of 12,000 through trade.

-Trade will be labeled 50/50

-All numbers are sequenced; you may NOT chose non-sequenced numbers.

~Quick Layout~
Start out: 2000g
Start number: 1
End number: 12,000
Total gold will be: 8000g
Winner gets: 4000g
Second Winner gets: 1000
Owner gets: 3000g
Owner gains: 1000g from initial 2000
500g goes to prize of minigame
Total gain:500g

Min. pay to play: 2g (obtain 2 numbers: 1g added to pot)
Max. pay to play: 2900g (obtain 2900 numbers: 1450g added to pot)

question Why are you doing this?
arrow Because I was inspired to do something like this when I joined the "Gift Giving Thread".

question Don't you look kinda....poor, to be holding these raffles?
arrow I like to keep my avatar simple so I can use the gold I get to buy the items for the raffle. If you ever want proof of an item just ask me-many times I will be wearing the item.

question How do you get so much gold?
arrow ALOT of posting...and I'm a marketplace junkie

question give m3h stufz plz!
arrow 1 that's not a question, 2 no I won't give things to beggers...or chatspeakers.

question Why are we allowed to post our wish list or quest list?
arrow Because then I know what people are interested in and I can add that item to my list of future raffle items.

question Can I buy more than the max?
arrow Sorry, you can't I made the limit, so many people can have a chance at the raffle. Usually I make an amount that many people have.

question Everyone uses "lotto" you used "raffle" to be different didn't you?
arrow Alas, yes...and for the fact that I got tired of seeing "lotto" being misused.

Lotto is a game of chance with many slots (cheap/expensive entry fee) and multiple people can (but not gaurenteed) win.

Raffle on the other hand, is a game of chance with many slots(cheap entry fee) and one person is gaurenteed to win.

If you really want a real lotto, one that goes somewhat close to that of a lotto that 18 year olds can get, go visit the MANSION CONVENTUS guild. There a good friend of mine has took her experience from using the lotto machine and playing, and the definition to create a lotto with a jackpot that can increase with each game....if no one wins that round, or start back low if someone does win. Though with a bit of alterations she made it so it's not too hard to win and it won't last for a long....long...long time. She has a limit of 10 people and you can chose any lucky numbers you want; even repeat another's numbers!

question Any free giveaways?
arrow Yes, on occation I will give away little bits of gold here and there, or some random free prize on a certain page...like free art.

question Do you gain anything from this?
arrow Yes and no, I do gain a little gold from the raffle, but I use the gold the next raffle prize. Prices keep going up, so I sell about 100 more tickets than the amount I bought it item for.

So for example I buy a Gift of the Goddess for 10K I will raffle off the item with 10100 number slots. That extra 100g goes to the next item up.

question Do I have to buy tickets all at once or in order?
arrow No you don't, you can buy as many as the Max amount, but you don't have to buy all at once. BUT you MAY NOT RESERVE NUMBERS: I did that once an it was a terrible mess.

Ex: You like numbers 1-100 (you buy) but you don't like any number until 500-550, you can wait and buy when 500-550 numbers are available.

question What do you mean "reserve"?
arrow Some people only want to get certain numbers, say : 13, 88, 1000,etc. so they PM me with their request, sadly I can not do this because it messes up the order and convenience of chosing a number: I'm sure you don't want to participate in a lotto or raffle with numbers scattered all over the place.

question Can I just buy the item off of you?
arrow As much as I like to, no. I have to keep my promise to the Gaians who want to win a grand prize with gold really less than what is in the marketplace.

question Who/Where do you get your Raffle Ads?
arrow I make them. If I'm lazy I'll just draw out the item and find a background then later the item on top of the background. If I feel real, creative I'll make the entire AD item and background.
