Terestai Tol, the Forever Forest Isle. An isle long hidden from the eyes of the world and taken care of by the Eliai'iriai, or soul sisters, who are bound to the world as its guardians. Many magical beings live amongst the land and can be found easily by a well-trained eye.

Terestai Tol is hidden from the outside world by an expansive mountain range to the north, which opens to a wide valley of jungle-like forest. The forest sweeps south to a thin shoreline where you can see two other small islands like guardians of the entrance to this magical world. The Eliai'iriai live on these two islands, each one bound to her respective home. But, it is only recently that they've allowed visitors to come amongst them and make homes. The Eliai'iriai are mysterious in their ways and do not speak often to the newcomers, but lend them their magics in certain times, when necessary.

Thus the settlement of Gaians in this treasured world was begun. As the humans foraged for food, they found various animals which seemed curious about these new creatures in their lands. The pledge of settlement between the Gaians and the Eliai'iriai is that no Gaian shall eat the meat of the native creatures in Terestai Tol, in exchange for the knowledge and aid of the sisters in caring for the creatures. It was destined that Gaians become bonded to these creatures as companions and together they live in harmony.

Some natives of the Island refuse human companionship and will often be seen in the wilds, frolicking and staying to themselves away from the settlement of huts and homes.

Are the pets Roleplay/RP-required?
As of May 28th 2007, they are not. This may change in future. Currently, you will get benefits for roleplay which include but are not limited to faster growth or more babies during breedings. Such as, well-roleplayed Nannerlings will be able to randomize the number of offspring from 2 - 4. Otherwise you only get 2.

How much do they cost?
ALL pets cost 5,000g during a normal flatsale.

How do you make these pets? How can I run a B/C shop too?
We don't have time to tutor you on these things. Gaia is an expansive and creative community, please find help or tutorials elsewhere.

My pet hasn't grown, what happened?
Try refreshing your browser a few times first, sometimes the images get cached locally on your machine and need to get the new image.

Can I reserve a pet or pre-buy a pet for an upcoming flatsale?
No. Sorry.

Can pets talk to their human owners?
No. However, almost -all- pets of the Terestai Tol can be TAUGHT to communicate and even read/write our language. They can only acquire this through SPECIFIC ROLEPLAY circumstances.

Is there a mailing list I can sign up with?
Yes. You may send a friend request to Alisha Ranae and a PM saying you would like to subscribe. This will allow you to get advanced notice of upcoming events and perhaps special subscriber only benefits.

* Non-growing can be Perma -any- stage. So if you want a pet that will stay a baby forever, then non-growing is the option for you.

Semi-Custom - 10k non-growing; 20k growing
- Customer may choose 3 colors and a generic pattern or idea of what they want. Colorist retains creative control on how to implement design.

Custom - 20k non-growing; 40k growing
- Customer may choose 5 colors and a pattern. They will also get control over where colors are used on the body and through each stage.

Cosplay or Editted Customs - 100k non-growing; 200k growing
- At least 3 high resolution references pics -MUST- be provided.

The Eliai'iriai tend to the animals of Terestai Tol by brewing healing potions or other such curiosities. They will be sold here to help your pet grow and change.



Freeze Potion : Stops your pet from growing beyond its current stage when you have them drink this potion.
Price: 2k






Inner Fire Potion : Rekindles your pet's growth. Only to be taken after using the Freeze Potion, otherwise unnatural side effects may occur!
Price: 3k






Striped Potion (Random) : Adds random colored stripes to your pet. Stripes will stay on as your pet grows as well. (Colorist retains right to decide what kind of stripes and what color).
Price: 4k






Striped Potion (Your Choice) : Adds colored stripes to your pet, that you choose. Stripes will stay on as your pet grows as well. (The Eliai'iriai tell us that this potion is particularly difficult to brew and has added magics.)
Price: 6k






Spotted Potion : Adds random color spots to your pet. (Colorist retains right to decide what kind of stripes and what color).

Spectrum Potion : Owner chooses 8 colors, of different hues, to randomize by. Three randomized colors will be decided from the 8 and your pet will transform in color. (Colorist retains right to decide how to use colors and whether to add markings).

Colorist Position Requirements
* You MUST have Photoshop and/or compatible program that can use .PSD files and export or save as .PNG format!
* You MUST use the shop's standardized shading templates!
* We would like you to be active in the shop thread, posting every other day or so.
* Line-Edit abilities are welcome but not required. Though this will swing highly in your favor when the time comes for hiring!!
* You are APPLYING to be an EMPLOYEE at this shop. You should be able to take the work seriously as a JOB, that's why we call you employees/staff. If you slack off on a deadline, we reserve the right to FIRE you at ANY time.
* We also reserve the right to not sell a particular pet you've colored if it doesn't meet quality standards.
* Full-time Colorists : You should be able to color at least 2 pets per week and participate in ALL events in some way. (Whether it be doing 1 cosplay or coloring flatsale pets, mini-game pets, etc.)
* Part-time Colorists : You should be able to color at least 2 pets per month.

- What we're looking for in abilities -
* Colorings should be of good quality, you must have knowledge of brushes and markings.
* You can use preset brushes, but you should know how to manipulate them as markings well enough that they don't look like you stamped the pet all over.
* If you want to get an idea of the quality we're looking for, look around Gaia at Zsabrina's own colorings or those at other really nice shops.
* Again, line-editting isn't required but it is highly desired.

- Colorist Benefits -
* You will be paid 50% of ANY sale/event/auctioned pet you color for us.
* You will be paid 80% of ANY custom sale. Be warned, if your line-edit skills are not up to par we may not allow you to have those type of custom slots.
* 2 FREE pets you color yourself. They can be growing -or- cosplay. They cannot be growing cosplays! Any other pets you want via custom that you color yourself is negotiable.

* In your application you must show us your coloring skills on the lines and on the templates. You may use the lines and create a shading template for yourself on them but it is not required.
* You must give at least 4 samples TOTAL of your coloring skills, whether you use -our- templates or your own, you need to indicate that per sample submitted.
