Joe Hisaishi is a themesongs/orchestral soundtrack composer for japanese anime movies... He's quite good and da music is very intriguing. He composed all da music 4 "Spirited away", "Totoro", "Castle in da sky", etc. neways, anyone agree w/ me?

I love his anime scores, but I like his live action scores better....especially the more obscure films. The music for the movie A Scene By The Sea is, to me, one of his greatest works.

He's great! ^^

i went to "A Night in Fantasia" orchestral concert yesterday. It was a mix of joe hisaishi and nobuo uetmasu work.
their pieces are so purrrrrdy ~ heart

Legend of Ashitaka was one of the best peformed there.. 3nodding
