The Gaians For Stiffer Art Arena Punishments
Ok, we all know some dumbasses post stolen art in the arena. While they do get a warning, most seem to only get warnings. Thus, they do it again. And since they only get a little slap on the digital wrist, they do it again. So why havn't they increased the punishment? Taking gold, or even temporary bans would most likely take the amount of stolen art down.
Okay, now that there are 130 signers, I'm open to suggestions on how to improve the Art Arena. I'll post any suggestions I get here.
Also, the Mini-Shops forum seems to have much art theft going on. Anyone got suggestions? Send em to me, and I'll slap them up here on the first post. 3nodding
So. I suggest that they do some thing like this: take off a large-ish amount of gold(like say, 100-300) the first time they post stolen art, a temporary ban the second time, and a permenant ban if they do it three times. This may seem a tad harsh to some, but remember that someone had to work on that picture, to devote their time and effort to it, only to have some noobtard take credit for it. stressed I've never had someone take credit for my art(I suck too badly xp ), but I know I wouldn't like it.
My suggestion: The admins add some mods dedicated specificaly to combing through the Art Arena, searching for traced or stolen artwork. These mods wouldn't have power anywhere else, just the AA. I'm sure there are some people out there willing to do this. I'm not sure it would be something I'd wanna do personally... but it would help muchly, nay?
Now, eyeballers would probably get the least trouble if it was the first time. People who outright trace would get in slightly more crap, and people who just take someone elses art and claim it as their own get a large a** fine, and a temp ban for repeated offences, and possibly a perm ban if they continue after receiving a temp ban. domokun

I realise most pettitions go nowhere(I'm one of those people who thinks "Not ANOTHER pettition!" wink , but this is something I feel should be addressed. The noobtards who think they can steal art must be taken down!
