I've been inspired by a friend of mine, who is questing not for himself, but for me. I thought, there has to be a way I can contribute. So here I am. I will sell (and give away) a total of 1000 tickets for 100g each, and there will be three winners chosen with Gaia's random number generator.

Tickets are 100g each. To enter the lotto, send me a labeled trade for the number of tickets you wish to purchase. For example, for one ticket, you send 100g. For 8 tickets, you send 800g. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy. You will not be able to choose your ticket placement, you will simply get them in the numerical order in which they are purchased. Remember, label the trade, "Katana Lotto".

For my first few months on Gaia, I had NO idea what 'labeling a trade' even meant. So here's an easy (imageless) guide to the entire trading process.

Click on the trading symbol at the top of any of my posts.
See the the box that says Gold, next to your avatar? Click it. Now type into the box that pops up the amount of gold you wish to send. REMEMBER TO CLICK "CHANGE". Random trades for absolutely nothing are really confusing.
Now, there's a box at the top of the trade, that says, "Trade request from YOU to Mon Chapeau". You can highlight all of that, and type in a new trade title. Make this one, "Katana Lotto".
Type your password into the box that says Password next to it, and OFFER YOUR TRADE!
When I have accepted the trade, it is your turn. Just do the passwordy thing again, and accept!
I know many of you don't need a guide to making a trade, but with the number of unlabeled trades I get every month for my Sealed lotto, I assume at least 10% of the population isn't even aware there's an option to do it. So, I thought as long as I'm explaining that, I'll just explain the whole process. It was fun, for me anyway.

If there are no rules, then people can't break them. This makes people sad. So I make rules. Hey, I do these things for the people.

Rule 1: I don't know why people have to put this in their rules, but follow the Gaia TOS.
Rule 2: No begging/flaming/spamming, please. I said please.
Rule 3: Don't stretch the page, and don't quote the first page.
Rule 4: No refunds, unless the lotto closes.
Rule 5: Label your trade! Non-labeled trades are confusing, and I just don't like that.
Rule 6: Please, don't advertise within this thread, unless you're asking to exchange links.
Rule 7: You can only win once in the main raffle. If your number is drawn for more than one prize, the lower prize will be re-drawn to give someone else a chance.

Alright, bumpers, I have a special offer JUST FOR YOU. I will be awarding a 2.5k prize for the top bumper of this thread when the raffle is over. But wait! There's more! Rule 1: You must purchase at least one ticket before you become eligible for prizes.
Rule 2: Number your bumps. I'm not gonna count them for you!
Rule 3: Don't skip numbers! Sometimes you might accidentally miss a number, but if you notice this, please, make it up as soon as you realize it. A simple, "Oops! Forgot Bump 45!" on its own post works great.
Rule 4: You must PM me to get your free ticket. I won't necessarily be keeping track of your bumps and tickets earned, you have to do it yourself so I won't forget about you.
Rule 5: Don't use your mules to bump. If you're going to bump here, please only use ONE account, don't come and continue your bumps with a different account.

It's A Hard Day Of Bumping...
A KiKi Kitty Kwest.

Hi, and welcome to my quest thread. A good friend of mine, U R Eating Glitter, is having a problem. She wants a KiKi Kitty, and a CoCo. But she can't bring herself to save up for them. She's always giving away gold, and she runs a lottery where she loses gold on a monthly basis, but she loves it. I really want her to be able to get the items she loves so much, so I'm going to quest them for her. It's my way of giving back, because I think what she's doing is so kind and selfless, even though I can't join (she has a no RL friends rule, she doesn't want it to look like she's cheating).

I hope to get it for her before her birthday, on August 4th. So I'll be keeping track of my progress here, and hopefully getting some help from some giving Gaians. I know it will be a lot of work, but I think I can do it.

That's the first post on Luscious Despair's quest thread. Together, we're aiming to get a CoCo first. Then, we will hold another raffle, this time with the CoCo. Eventually we will work our way up to a KiKi! Of course, donations are accepted and loved, hop on over to Luscious's thread to donate!
