Hi & welcome to the official Rina Aiuchi thread, up and running since 22 June 2004!

News
(( 30 April 2006 @ 8:00 PM CST )) Rina's official website has been updated with a new look. In addition, she will be dropping a new single on 5/3 called MIRACLE & a new album on 5/31 called DELIGHT heart heart heart


Information & Profile
Rina made her debut in 2000 with the single "Close To Your Heart," which was used for the anime Monster Farm (Monster Rancher). Six years later, she is still going strong and is one of GIZA studio's most popular artists. Her works have been used in other sources of entertainment, Detective Conan (Case Closed) being the most notable. Rina is best known for her wonderful lyrics, powerful vocals, and squeaky speaking voice.

Favorite song = Navy Blue. I haven't heard all of her albums (I grab random tracks here and there), nor have I seen many of her PVs, but of the ones I've seen I think I like FULL JUMP the most.

I may be alone on this, but although I like her songs, I hated the remix album. x_X; I deleted that a week after I got it because it just did not do a THING for me.

My ultimate favorite song is "Ruby stars." Favorite album would definitely be POWER OF WORDS. I haven't seen many PVs either, but "FULL JUMP" was definitely the most interesting. whee

I first feel in love with her singing when I heard "Code Crush" (I'm a Mega Man fan, and Code Crush is the Rockman X7 intro song.) Then I realized I've heard her songs before on Detective Conan (when I got her Singles Album). Right now I'm listening to Start (14th detective Conan opening) It's so cool :whee:

Yeh, I'm really thrilled that her songs are being used for things. "START" is such an awesome song. heart I only wish Adult Swim would play the original openings (or hell, even just openings) for the anime (namely Dectective Conan) they show.. it would expose more people to Rina and other GIZA artists. ;-;

Yes! 3nodding I have a copy of that magazine issue and dissected it for all the Rina pics. I had them up in my dorm, but not in my apartment since I'm only here temporarily. I wish I could get my hands on another J-Groove Magazine with Rina. Stupid Alabama! gonk

I used to listen to Rina a lot, but I got tired of her after a while. I didn't like "Dream x Dream" at all. Some of her stuff sounds the same to me.. I haven't really listened to her new stuff that much though..
