Family and friends!

User Image Halfling Elf! She's the so called 'House Keeper'. She'll let us call her mum, but she gives us the choice. She's the one who takes care of the house, and takes care of us all. ^^; She's almost always cheerful and hyper, and usually is very ditsy. And she can make almost everyone feel better, unintenionally or not.

User Image Me! Yes, this is Kiisha writing. Diro said I could, since he can't write that well yet. I have to write whatever he says though. Except for this part. x3 I am the second cook of the house, and play with Diro when he's at home and not with his garden. I also like to fly. ~_^ I promised Diro that when I am older I'd take him with me sometime.

Diro Is Currently:
With me. Being huggled. >3

His Mood?: Well, he seems pretty happy being a child now. Not to mention that he's been talking to Tou a lot lately... x3

What about you?: *spazzes* DIRO GREW! DIRO GREW! DIRO GREW!!! x33333333333

And Kiisha: Is cooking. Again. With Ryu. x3 She's muttering about rubarb muffins and cakes though, so it's probably for Di as a congratulations present.

July 6, 2004

Diro Is Currently:
Swimming! ^^

His Mood?: Pretty quiet. He's whispering, and it's obvious that he likes to swim. :3

What about you?: Happy! ^^ Diro's doing more things now. I'll be teaching him how to garden soon. x3

And Kiisha: Is playing around with Ryu, her chinchilla! I personally think that they want to create a massive rip in the space time continnum and bring Diro with them to help. XD

June 28, 2004

Diro Is Currently:
Sleeping. The poor guy got barely any sleep last night from what happened... ._.;

His Mood?: Upset. VERY upset. He feels guilty for killing the rat, I think.

What about you?: I'm watching Diro like a hawk. I made a sling for him so I can carry him around since he's been asleep all day.

And Kiisha: She's worried about Diro. She considers herself his older sister, and Diro looks to her about advice on things. I told her that he'd probably be really hungry when he woke up though, so she's been making rubarb muffins for him. (His favorite!)

June 26, 2004

Diro Is Currently:
Thinking of a name for his dragon and bumping into people by accident. ^^;

His Mood?: Well, embarrassed, I guess. It's not his fault that the leaf keeps on falling over his eyes when he walks so he can't se... >3

What about you?: I'm trying to decide what to paint Di's room. He says anything is fine, but I don't want to dissapoint him either. @_@; Maybe if I can borrow Em's paintball gun... XD

And Kiisha: Has been making lunches for the past week. xd She can't get enough of it...

June 23, 2004

Diro Is Currently:
Looking out the window at the HQ.

It's Mood?: Amazed. At everything. Especially the woods and stuff outside. whee

What about you?: Happy for Diro. He hatched! 4laugh

And Kiisha: Is bugging me to finish the pictures of Di and her. I'm working on it... Just very slowly. >P

June 22, 2004

Diro Is Currently:
Sitting on H.E.'s shoulder

It's Mood?: Kinda bored. There's not much to do when Gaia's down. >.>

What about you?: Hyper and springy. I graduated! x3 High school, here I come!

And Kiisha: Is somewhere in the house. Most likely her room. I think she's trying new dance moves. whee

June 21, 2004

Diro Is Currently:
Playing with Kiisha and friends. ^^

It's Mood?: Happy! ...I think. It's vibrating and purring, so I should think so. x3

What about you?: Me? I'm still happy and running off adrenilan from yesterday. whee

And Kiisha: Keeps on asking to hold Diro. She's just as happy and excited as the rest of us. >3 Doesn't like calling Diro 'it' though. She just calls it Diro whenever she can. ^^;
Aaaaaaaaaaand the insanity post. Where I can post whatever I want. blaugh Or at least... Until Diro gets big enough to take over this spot. >.> Anyway! Here's insanity thing #1! >D

Quote:
"I've Got a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts"

Ape: Down at Barnum's fair
One evening I was there
When I heard a showman
Shouting underneath the flair...

Showman: Oh, I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts,
There they are all standing in a row.

Wife: two, three, four

Big ones, small ones, some as big as your head
Give 'em a twist, a flick of the wrist,

Ape: That's what the showman said.

Showman: Oi! I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts
Every ball you throw will make me rich.

Wife: (me too love)

And there stands me wife,
the idol of me life,
singing

Wife: Roll a bowl a bowl a penny a pitch.

All: Singing, roll a bowl a bowl a penny a pitch,
Roll a bowl a bowl a penny a pitch,
Roll a bowl a bowl
Roll a bowl a bowl
Roll a bowl a bowl a penny a pitch.

Coconuts: Oh, we are a lovely bunch of coconuts.
Here we are all standing in a row

Wife: two, three, four

Coconuts: Big ones, small ones, some as big as your head
Give 'em a twist, a flick of the wrist,

(ah, come on, stop throwin' em)

Oh, we are a lovely bunch of coconuts.
Every ball you throw will make us rich.

Wife: (that's right, love)

Showman: And there stands me wife,
she's the idol of me life,
singing

Wife: Roll a bowl a bowl a penny a pitch.

All: Singing, roll a bowl a bowl a penny a pitch,
Roll a bowl a bowl a penny a pitch,
Roll a bowl a bowl
Roll a bowl a bowl
Singing roll a bowl a bowl a penny a pitch.
Teh garden! Coming soon...

Helllllllllllllllllllllo Log! xD

June 22, 2004

Hello Log! I am Halfling Elf, and I shall be writing about Diro until it gets old enough to write. whee So here I am!

First off I should say sorry for not writing until my third day with Diro. It's been pretty eventful, to say the least, and I couldn't find any time to write. ^^; But I shall try to work it out and write about Diro's days and behaviors as much as I can. 3nodding

The first day I got Diro, it was pretty quiet. I suppose anyone would, being introduced into a new family and a new environment. I introduced it to everyone as soon as we got home (I had to put it in my basket on my bike — made it nice and comfy with borrowed towels from the HQ. I still need to give those back... Whoops. ^^; ) and it immediately took to Kiisha, my Kaju. Now, Kiisha wasn't too sure about Diro in the beginning because it's not every day you get a pebble with a tail attached to it brought into your house and it's announce it shall be living with you. But after she sniffed Diro and looked it over, she gave a little questioning kyu. And Diro meeped back. It was so cute! x3

Anyway, I should rewind a bit — we did spend most of the first day at the HQ. There, Di met Tou and made it's first sound; 'zonk'! I could tell that they hit off each other really well. ;3 They were best friends in the first five minutes! I do believe that they were zooming around and trying to find where Tobais was. They even helped each other get up on the windowsill! whee

Now that Diro is nestled into it's new home, it's pretty talkative. Not as often as some Skull Monkies, but it 'talks' to almost everyone it meets. It zonks, meeps, chitters, clicks, and other sound affects that I cannot even begin to make out, let alone write. It sounds very neat though. whee

I've also started to read books out loud to it. It likes 'Green Eggs and Ham' 'One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish' 'The Grinch Who Stole Christmas' and almost all of the Dr. Suess books. I'll have to go over them when Di grows and teach it how to read them. ^^ I also found out that Di seems to like bears, koalas, and guinea pigs. It zonks a lot whenever I show a picture of any one of them, and absolutely adores its bear puppet. Huh. I'll have to make it stuffed animals of them. n_n

Well, I'm still trying to fix up Diro's room enough so that when it grows it has a room. I can't decide on what colour to paint the walls. Maybe orange stars...? I dunno. I'll ask Diro when it grows. ^^ Currently it is sleeping next to my bed in the little one I made just for it, so it's not that long of a distance if Diro needs anything. And so I can keep an eye on it. I have figured out that Diro sleepwalks. Not very far, may I say, only up and down it's little bed. But it's still sleep walking. I hope it doesn't become a bigger habit when it grows... It might hurt itself by falling down the stairs.

Well, that's all I can think of now. Ja ne!

Today Diro grew! ^o^ Yes, he's a buffin' guy. So cute! x3 I took him to the HQ to look around. Tou wasn't there, but he seemed to like outside a lot. Attached himself to the windowsill to look outside and occasionally watch all of the Skull Monkies in the room. He looked like he wanted to go talk, but I think he was too shy. ^^; Jen came up to him and they started talking (well, it was kind of one-sided. Di doesn't like to talk much). And then... A thunder storm started. A really bad one. Di and Jen saw something outside and went to investigate... And found Isto. Apparently he got hit by lightning and was really bashed up. We (meaning me, Keppit, Em and Moo) lugged him up to the HQ and waited for the ambulance there. The power went out and everybody was freaked out... But by the end of it, Diro was totally tuckered out. So am I, actually. I'll write more about it tomorrow. Good night!

Draaaaaaaagon! And Leaves! x3

June 26, 2004

Eh... I need to start writing more. sweatdrop Anyway! I knew that I was going to write what happened to Shiro in more detail, but I've gotten lazy over it. ^^; Di going to glare at me if he reads this when he grows up, but hey! I'll just make him write about it. whee

Yesterday, Lenta brought a herd of dragons into the HQ. It was veeeeeeeery crowded in there, but the dragons looked cool and they were very nice so it was worth it. ^-^ Diro actually went up to a dragon and they talked. I was so shocked. Usually Diro doesn't go up to a stranger unless one of his friends bring him over or he bumps into them by accident. But they talked and then the dragon adopted him. It was so cute! Apparently the dragon likes to listen and is a guy, but he doesn't have a name and is letting Diro pick it. So the little guys been pondering all day for a name. The dragon now lives in the living room. I gotta build another room or something for him. Tearing down walls are fun! whee

Tracking back a bit, on Thursday I found Diro with a leaf. One of those big heart-shaped ones. He walked into the HQ on his hind legs with it, wobbling a bit since he usually doesn't do that. It was raining outside, so he must have used it for an umbrella. He then shook it out in the entrance, shook himself out, and put it on his back, scurrying over to the window sill. It looked so cute! 4laugh It took a while for him to get to the windowsill, of course... You can't see that well when a leaf is covering your eyes. He crashed into a table, the couch, two Skull Monkies (I can't remember which) and then into the wall under the windowsill. So now he's learned how to put the leaf on his head without it covering his eyes. whee Well, that's all I can think of right now. I'll write more when something else happens!

Ja ne!

I'm Never Trusting Rats Again! >.<

June 28, 2004

Well, I should start this from the beginning. Two days ago, Diro was looking for holes and stuff around the HQ to see if there would be any 'secret bases'. He went under the couch to see if anything was under there, and got his tail stuck. Jen found him a bit later, and he helped Diro get his tail out. What had snagged Diro's tail was a loose floor board, with a hole underneath! So the next day they got Isto to look over the hole while they went in...

Apparently, from the information I got out the exhausted Diro, it was pretty boring in the beginning. They had fallen down two holes and started walking up a tunnel, when it caught up to them. A rat. A pretty big one too, apparently. Jen and Diro started running from it, but it had stepped on the rope that Diro had around his waist and pulled him back. So they had to fight it or else they'd die. Diro managed to cut the rope with the rat's teeth and then the two lunged on the rat and attacked it. Diro was on it's back and got bashed against the walls of the tunnels and Jen got scratched because he was attacking it's legs. They eventually killed it, but were so tired that they could barely walk. Then three more rats showed up. They thought that they were going to die, but Isto showed up and killed one of the rats. The other two ran. So Isto carried them back to the HQ and Diro crawled back up the ramp to where I was sleeping and woke me up. He was coated in the rat's blood and he was crying. I've never seen him look so miserable. I took him home and gave him several baths and let him rinse out his mouth with whatever he wanted to get the blood taste out of it. I let him sleep on my pillow and watched him the entire night, just whispering comforting words and telling him that it would be okay. He eventually fell asleep, but kept on waking up from the nightmares. So neither of us got much sleep. Finally, late in the morning he finally got so tired he went out like a light. He didn't even have nightmares apparently, since he didn't whimper or anything in his sleep. He did twitch though. I'm worried about that.

Well, I've been carrying him around in a sling all day so I would know if he woke up or anything. He hasn't woken yet, but when he does I'll make sure to try to make him forget yesterday. He may never forget it (which I think will probably happen) but I'll try to make it as distant of a memory as I can. I should take Moji (his dragon. He finally named it, on a good note. :3) to the minishops and get him some toys. Well, see you later, log. Ja ne!

I went to visit my realtives for a while, and I brought Diro with me since he's so small. I think he enjoyed it quite a bit, even if he had to hide in my backpack for most of the trip. He quite enjoyed my aunt's dog, and I think that he learned to like swimming there — he wouldn't get out of their pool. x3 It was quite cute. ^^

Diro has started to grow a garden too! ^^ He planted strawberry plants the other day, and some of the berries were already grown on them =3 So he's learning how to harvest and look after them properly. He likes to swat bugs away from them, hiding beside the plants until one shows up. It looks so cute! =3

Diro's back to his normal self, which makes everyone relieved around the house. He's talking and still looking around the house for secret hiding places. He blands out every once in a while, so he must be thinking about something. I hope he's still not eating himself over it still...

*meeps* It's so cute! xd

July 17, 2004

Well, many things have happened in the past week. For one thing, Diro got his first present AND his first kiss! =3 Both were from.. *dun dun DUN!* Tou! Both of them were blushing and stammering so much. It was so cute! x3 Di had brought strawberries for them to share, and then Tou kissed him on the cheek. Then in the next couple of days, Diro got a picture of himself coloured by Tou! It is now hanging on his wall. x3 I've also noticed that Di has been giving some flowers that just sprouted extra attention. I looked at their buds, and they looked like most of them were pink ones... And Diro planted some pumpkin seeds with my help. Hopefully we'll have big pumpkins by the time Halloween rolls around!

Diro also saw Raven again today. They talked a bit, and then after Raven left Diro went down into the den to practice his moves. Apparently he's still attempting to do a handstand and cartwheels. ^^ He's actually doing quite well, even though he sometimes lands really hard on the floor. But then he just picks himself back up again and tries to do it again. I'm so proud of him...

Oh! And Di's getting very good at his writing. I might start to let him write his own entries soon. ^-^

Ja ja!

Vacations and Presents!

August 5, 2004

Sorry about not writing, journal! I just got back from my longest trip from my house this summer, and I brough Di with me since he's still small. ^^ We spent the first few days on a boat, and I'd have to say he enjoyed it. We even saw a flock of birds that took half an hour to pass us! At one of the stops we made, there was a beach covered with sea shells. Diro hopped right over there, playing in the sand, the water, and collecting sea shells. None of them are broken, although all of them have some sort of hole in the wide side of the shell. I think I know what he's going to do with them. ~_^

On a different note, Diro got a picture from Tou! ^o^ And he gave her a pink tulip. x3 But, I shall not be telling you about this. For... Diro has learned how to write! He still has spelling mistakes here and there with big words, but he's gotten very good at it. So I probably won't be writing his journal entries anymore, unless something happens. So here's Diro! ^-^

Diro from here on out!

Hello everyone. It's Diro. I can finally write well, thanks to Kiisha and H.E. I still have some spelling mistakes, but doesn't everyone? The other day I gave Tou, one of my bestest friends, a pink tulip. I had started to grow a few of them a while back, and they just bloomed... So I picked the prettiest one and gave it to her. You could call it a thank you present for the picture of me that she coloured a while back... H.E. says that I can keep it in you for now, since she needs to re-paint the walls green with orange leaves at the top of the walls. I think it'll look nice... But if I don't like it, H.E. says she can paint it white again. She sure does alot for us...

Well, I should go. Bye.

~Diro

Not Very Much Later...

I just grew into a child! I'm surprised that H.E. stopped hugging me long enough for me to write this. She's so happy for me... Should I be happy too? I am kinda happy... I suppose I'm stronger now, and can do things that I wasn't able to do as a baby. But now... I can't go under my leaf. My "security blanket" as H.E. called it, is now too tiny to serve it's purpose. I guess that means that I have to face the world... I'm scared. Terrified, more like it. But... Maybe my friends will help me. I hope so. Well, I should go now. Need to practice walking without tripping over my own two feet and get used to my new skull's weight.

Bye.

~Diro
